I recently took my 2000 Jetta to these guys for a timing belt change (this can be done in about 3.5 hours but is charged at 5 hours of labour as this is used as the standard for this job). Part of changing a timing belt should be adjusting the fuel injection pump so the physical timing is correct. This step was not done, and my timing was so far off that my car was having extremely difficulty starting and was not running properly, had I left it like this it would cause severe engine damage.

Don't try and take in tires to sell them or trade with them. They will treat you like dirt. My experience has been good prices for new tires and a decent price for a seasonal changeover. However. Today I took them 4 brand new tires valued at $450 (never used - still had the manufacturers sticker on it. They offered me $150 for all 4 tires. I was never more insulted in my life and quickly picked up the tire and put it back in my car. Grumbling about how much they were worth and receiving a muffled F@(kYu from the guy. Wow. Lesson learned. 1. These people are here to take your money and do you no favours. 2. Don't try and take in tires to sell them or trade with them. They will treat you like dirt.
