I had two new front roof panels put on my vehicle and when i went to pick it up the workmanship was atrocious (the lining / sound deadning they put on both panels was not fitted properly to the panel, the product was hanging lose and not properly adhered to the roof panels and they did not put the sound deadning around the 6 inner roof locks stating that Ford did not send them those pieces/parts. After questioning this, one or two days later they "found the parts. We had rain shortly after i received my vehicle back and my new roof area leaked into my vehicle. When i brought this to Carstar's attention, they once again were incredibly rude and refused to do anything about it. Honestly, worst experience i have ever had. STAY AWAY, save yourself headaches!!!!

A gentleman finally came in and looked at my vehicle and took pictures and said the parts will be ordered and they would contact me. A month later I called in and the parts were not even ordered! Now I have to wait through another time period To see if they can order them for me or if I'm not too much of an inconvenience. If you want anything done, don't go there.

They don't seem to take a long time doing whatever needs to be done, the waiting area is newly renovated and very nice. We were thinking about buying a car and the salesman was nice enough to bring it to us to look it over and test drive it, not something I have seen done very often, I was impressed to say the least. When we decide it's time to buy another vehicle, we will be going here for sure. Service rate is high, $89.95 per hour, not sure what other dealers charge, that just seems a little high high to me, if it was $79.95 I likely would give them a 4th star.

The first thing that put me off was when getting confirmation of the service they were doing, they said "oil change and a tire rotation, eh?", a classic scummy sales tactic to strong arm someone who may not understand or not totally be paying attention into paying for the additional service. I assume this is because I'm young and female, and classically we don't know much about cars. I opted to stay in the waiting area, assuming that it would take about an average amount of time. They seemed busy, but no one gave me any indication to think otherwise. Over an hour and a half passed before I was given my keys, and let sit with no updates or apology. Last time I went, something similar happened - my car had a recalled part, and when I went in for an oil change, no one informed me they were going to be doing any other maintenance than the oil change I'd scheduled. Again, I had sat in the waiting area, expecting about the average wait. It was over two hours, with no notification or updates until I asked. Overall I'm quite unhappy with the service here, and will be taking my business somewhere else.

This place sells garbage....we're well past "junk". No one should ever be subjected to the kind of…read moreunprofessional, childish and spiteful treatment that I recently experienced at this garbage yard. From what I've read so far, I'm clearly not the only one. I dealt with Kim in the past and had relied, foolishly, on him to sell me rims that are in reasonable used condition. At the time of purchase, it was difficult for me to tell what kind of condition these were in because they were so sullied with mud. I took Kim at his word that these were good rims. When I got them home and cleaned off all the mud, it was clear that these were trash...just all rust. These were the kind of rims that you would only pay $5-$10 each on marketplace. You get what you pay for...or so you think. Believing that Kim would accept this return like a grown up was expecting too much. He first told me he had a slow day and that he didn't have any cash (which was how I initially paid for them). Following this, he attempted to berate me telling me that if I wanted new rims, he could have sold me new rims. Next, he told me that he wasn't going to look for tires for me in the future (as we discussed at my initial visit) and, in fact, that he's never going to do business with me ever - and that I'm essentially not welcomed back. Is this guy for real? Seriously, you made a fool of yourself Kim.Finally, when he begrudgingly gave me back my money, I could clearly see he had a wad of cash handy (I won't elaborate on the cash thing...but I think everyone reading this now this goes). So the moral of this story is - don't' go there to buy anything. They stand behind nothing, represent nothing, are good for nothing and have nothing good to offer. If you return something for legitimate reasons, they will obfuscate in a nasty way and bar you from doing any further business with them. I really don't think they have to worry about barring people who have no intention on coming back. They are a joke. Really nice business model.

Second, the mechanic called…read moreme about my repairs and then injected his own personal thoughts and theories on what happened to my accident. I had been shot at by a rifle on my way home one evening. the mechanic claimed his 8 year old son had a BB gun and the mechanic, Terry, was now an expert in weapons. He said you never were shot at. He said that you probably broke your own window out with a rock. This was insult to injury. I could not believe the audacity to his line of questioning. He was extremely unprofessional and rude. His line of questioning was uncalled for! I had to relive the horrific event because of his own personal opinions. I still suffer from PTSD from the accident. How dare him to question me. It was uncalled for! I went into the garage and was going to take my vehicle to another garage and he confronted me in the main lobby. I have never been spoken to in such a manner! I said to Crystal the receptionist that I wanted this reported to a manager. A manager never called me back. I will never go back to this repair shop again. I am warning others!

After parts were ordered the body shop arranged for a rental vehicle. It was there when I dropped the car off at Car Star. I was never told by the staff how long my car would be in for repairs. It was not till I arrived at the car rental company that I learned it would be a week. After one week I heard nothing from the body shop. I called and they told me that they had trouble with the paint as it was clouding they had to redo the hood. After a week of me calling them they painted the hood 3 times.I never received a single phone call from the shop I had to instigate every contact. After 2 weeks I was able to get my car. After I picked up the car I noticed the hood was shaking up and down. I checked and found that the body shop failed to insert one of two bolts on the hood hinge on the drivers side. One was not in at all, the second one loose. I returned to the body shop I got excuses why they failed to attach the hood properly. As well after further inspection it was determined that the hood was installed improperly it was not lined up properly. It had to be returned to the shop for a day. Oh I almost forgot the final invoice to the insurance company was over $1,000.00 more than the original estimate. The attitude of the employee I dealt with was not a great experience. In the future if I ever get into a similar situation I will definitely not return to this shop. I want to let potential clients know that when you have an accident it's your decision which body shop you choose not the insurance company.
