I had $11,000 car repair done. Clips popped shortly after. I called to have them looked at. Going in was not convenient for them as when I arrived the person to look at them was not there. I was made to feel like I could inconvenience. A gentleman finally came in and looked at my vehicle and took pictures and said the parts will be ordered and they would contact me. A month later I called in and the parts were not even ordered! Now I have to wait through another time period To see if they can order them for me or if I'm not too much of an inconvenience. CARSTAR Freedericton (without prejudice) ... DO NOT USE!!!! Aside from the extreme rudeness of the people i dealt with, the workmanship is horrible! I had two new front roof panels put on my vehicle and when i went to pick it up the workmanship was atrocious (the lining / sound deadning they put on both panels was not fitted properly to the panel, the product was hanging lose and not properly adhered to the roof panels and they did not put the sound deadning around the 6 inner roof locks stating that Ford did not send them those pieces/parts. After questioning this, one or two days later they "found the parts. We had rain shortly after i received my vehicle back and my new roof area leaked into my vehicle. When i brought this to Carstar's attention, they once again were incredibly rude and refused to do anything about it. Honestly, worst experience i have ever had. CarStar was the place my insurance company said I would have to take my 2016 Mazda CX-3 to for repairs following an accident in April. Jason and Megan Ross were the people in charge of repairing my vehicle with a total bill of about $3,000 plus. It took them a little more than two weeks to fix the car. When it was returned, the car sounded as bad as it did right after the accident. The AC wasn't working. The headlamp had condensation on the inside. When I picked up the car, of course, I paid my deductible. I was handed a life-time warranty for the repairs made to the car. After a series of events, I took the car back because the AC was still not working -- I'd taken it to another mechanic to get the exhaust fixed -- and the headlamp was still getting condensation. The first time, they said they were going to contact the insurance company and get back to me. A week had passed and I still hadn't heard. I drove it back a second time and a third time and finally they kept it-- saying they were going to take a look and repair. I got a call a few days later saying the seal was broken on the headlamp and the AC couldn't be fixed and I have to put it through my manufactures warranty. I said "No, you folks repaired the AC and it's not working. Fix it." They said again I'd have to take it to Mazda. After that we went to pick it up and this time the engine light was on. It was NOT on when we dropped it off. Jason, the owner, gave my boyfriend a very off-putting, rude answer when he asked him why they wouldn't repair the car. We ended up making an appointment with Mazda. They inspected the work and compared it off the sheet CarStar gave me and discovered parts were missing, bolts and screws were missing -- my radiator -- a pretty essential piece of the car was not secured and banging up against my engine. Days later, Mazda service (great, excellent and wonderful team) had gone behind CarStar and cleaned up the mess apart from the headlamp (which alone costs $1,400 to replace). They dealt with the adjust and provided the job wasn't done properly and was as a result of the accident. My insurance then paid out $1,200 more dollars to repair the work they had told me was warrantied. CarStar was not only unhelpful, but they were dismissive of me and my concerns in regard to their work. They not only refused to repair their mistakes but disregarded a warranty signed by the owner. read more

They do extremely poor quality work. They have kids in their first year of school working on high end vehicles and they end up butchering them. The customer service is terrible, and the product you drive away with will make you cry. Completely unprofessional and no one checks over any of the work before it leaves. Do not go here. read more

I went to CARSTAR Fredericton to fix my engine shield, they charged me 224.03$ for new front and rear engine shield and told me it's fixed. But today when I went to get my engine oil changed, I came to know that my shield appears to be the same and with similar problem. I went back to CARSTAR Fredericton to check, they took the car in and told me there is just minor issue and they gonna fix it. This is just bad on their part if they did not changed it before because customer goes to them based on their reputation as they have partnership with different insurance companies as well. Never expected such kind service from them. read more
