I purchased a vehicle from Steele Hyundai Fredericton in August 2022. While the sales process was…read moreacceptable, the after-sales service has been extremely poor and consistently unreliable. From the beginning, commitments were not respected. The vehicle was left for two weeks for inspection and cleaning, yet nothing was completed until the last minute, and it was returned in poor condition with dirt and food residue still inside. Winter tires were included in the deal, but after months of follow-ups, I was only offered used tires. Within the first month, several issues appeared. A noise and vibration were handled by simply removing a part and placing it in the trunk. More seriously, the driver's door opened on its own while driving on the highway. This major safety issue required numerous appointments, contradictory explanations, unnecessary referrals to another dealership that does not service Hyundai vehicles, and nearly nine months to resolve. In 2023, an engine oil leak occurred. The vehicle remained in the shop for weeks. Upon pickup, a rag was left in the engine bay, oil was present on the exterior and interior, and the leak was still active. I was later told the wrong component had been repaired, requiring another extended stay. The vehicle was not properly cleaned, and after the repair the battery was completely dead and had to be replaced shortly afterward. Following that work, a vibration developed through the brake and accelerator pedals. At one confirmed appointment, the vehicle was kept all day only for me to be told it was not the correct appointment date. In February 2026, I returned for the unresolved vibration, a coolant loss issue with no visible leak, and clear coat peeling. I was informed the clear coat was not covered because the paint itself was not peeling, and that diagnostics for the other issues would cost a minimum of $750 plus tax unless covered by the extended warranty -- without any clear explanation of what the warranty covered. I was effectively asked to accept the financial risk or leave. Communication throughout this experience was poor, scheduling was unreliable, and staff were often dismissive. Management acknowledged that constant staff turnover was an ongoing issue and unlikely to improve. After years of patience, lost workdays, and countless wasted hours, I cannot recommend this dealership. This review is shared to warn other customers and allow them to make an informed decision.

I was a little nervous spending that kinda money on a new truck but i bought it anyway. Got a good deal at Riverview and have been happy with the truck over the last few years. Fast forward to 2014 and my warranty coming to its end then I found out I needed a very expensive repair while I am still paying on the truck. Needless to say I was very upset with this news and was waiting for Ford Canada to make a decision on my claim, After going in for my normal oil change I found out the great news! Riverview ford Lincoln decided to do the repair on there own with no charge to me and they would just wait for ford Canada to get reimbursed. I now know that there slogan " No Games " is real and not just a catchy sales tactic. Anybody looking for a new or used car or truck I recommend Riverview Ford Lincoln.

I then advised the driver I'd forgotten my debit card (within 2 minutes of leaving the house) and he called in that we'd have to swing back so I could pay. When we were almost at our destination the driver radioed and asked what the fare would be. Unbelievably, it had jumped from $6 to $15! I called in after I was dropped off and the dispatcher confirmed the $15 charge. Unbelievable. Not only was the cab driver rude throughout the drive but I was charged more than double the cost of the fare for an extra 1.5km of driving. I will never use this unscrupulous company again.

But when I asked if the driver could call when he arrived, so that we wouldn't need to wait outside of the building for an hour... The dispatcher started yelling about his drivers not walking through "ten feet" (3 inches) of snow. Note, I asked for a call, not for a personal escort. He then told me to just call another company. Which I did. Loyal taxi was there in five minutes... And called without me even asking. They left with 20 dollars for a five minute trip. Good service is priceless. It's the drivers who suffer. The dispatcher sits warm and paid by the hour... While the drivers lose commission because the dispatcher is an a**. Sad. I'm taxi dependent for the next few weeks... And I will take the dispatchers advice... And call another company. Every single time.

When they say they will pick you up they don't (they don't even let the guy that drives the shuttle know) when you escalate and ask to speak to the owner nothing. They don't care about your business. Not to mention I asked for something on my vehicle when I bought it and it wasn't added. WARNING do not buy a Toyota in Fredericton because you will have to deal with these people. A simple oil change will leave you sitting the whole day. They have no idea how to book an appointment or how to treat a customer.

Warning: Toyota Rav 4 became a missile launcher! For over 15…read moreyears we have had the same kayaks & Thule J racks & carried these all over Atlantic Canada & Maine for the most part on Ford vechicles with no issues. Recently while travelling back from NS with our kayaks on the highway between Halifax & Truro, without warning, whistling or tapping; both Toyota installed crossbars snapped off, sending our kayaks which were still attached to the Thule racks & toyota crossbars tumbling down the highway! Fortunately it was 9 am on a Sunday morning & traffic was light for that highway. Luckily no one was injured or killed as a result! Fast forward to our interactions with Fredericton Toyota & Toyota Canada who will take no responsibility based on an engineer's report that we should have had them tied in front & back as well. The problem here is there is no place to attach a rope or a strap or a hook unless it's the thin fibreglass front & back bumpers. Toyota promotes SUV's versatility with weekend activities like kayaking & biking; they actually have tv ads and printed ads that show Rav 4's with kayaks on them exactly the way we had ours attached. We are frustrated with their lack of responsibility from a consumer safety perspective and instead of using this as education etc. when they sell their product, they are choosing to play the blame game with us. Anybody who has a Rav 4 with the cross bars & carry kayaks, PLEASE, go to your dealer & have them checked for any issues & maybe a place to tie them on to front & back. If you are ever behind someone with kayaks on a Rav 4, with or without front & back tie downs.....KEEP YOUR DISTANCE BEHIND THEM BECAUSE THEY COULD LET GO AT ANY TIME! IT SHOULD NOT BE INCUMBENT ON US TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE; however, we are disappointed & angry with Toyota's lack of concern for safety and their lack of action speaks volumes about the quality of their Consumer Safety. Therefore; we are trying to get this safety warning out there across the Country!
