Dr Curnyn is an ophthalmologist, a medical doctor and not an optician. They do have an optician on premises if you want to have them make your glasses. I started seeing her when I had some abnormalities show up in an eye exam at an optician's office. When you arrive and check in, you are brought back into an exam room where a specialist tests your eyes. Once done with the optical exam, they may check your eye pressure and dilate your pupils. Then, the doctor comes in. Dr Curnyn is a great listener and spends the time with you that you need. I have never felt rushed when seeing her. She is very personable - fun to talk with. And, she is very good at her job. If you need an opthamologist, I highly recommend Dr Curnyn.
