Cubano on house made bread. Delicious and flavorful pulled pork and ham with pickles mustard and swiss.

Best cubano I've ever had outside of Key West!! The breaded chicken cutlet sandwich was also amazing!! I asked a worker where they get the Cuban bread and they make it there, definitely made it proper with that in house scratch made bread! We will definitely come back! Best sandwich I've had in GP so far!!

Amazing "Cubano" in this little cafe! Having lived in S Florida and worked in Downtown Miami, I can tell you that this place is the real deal - authentic and tasty Cuban fare (plus a few things on the menu for those venturing more slowly into this flavorful culture) Definitely check this place out for a gastronomical trip to Cuba!!

Amazing food and amazing service!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the food at Nellie's, we had the chicken and cheese empanada, the mojo pork, and the chicken, and all were absolutely delicious!

Loved this place. I read about it on Yelp and had to go. We are passing through in our way to Portland. We had the Tropical Cubano Sandwich and it was spectacular. Alongside are a few yucca fries and a banana fritter which accompany nicely. We also ordered a side of fried plantains (delicious) we will definitely return!

So good. Simple, down to earth and my first time having Cuban food! I had the crispy chicken cutlet sandwich. Hefty portion, $15, fantastic crunch on the cutlet with a nice moist interior and an accompanying crunch on the crispy little potato strips. Pretty simple but it gets the job done with immense flavor. The bread is well-toasted and not too thick. Well-proportioned bread to fillings ratio. Casual sit down or to-go atmosphere inside, truly a local gem. Not really any vegetarian or vegan options if that's of concern to you.

I loved their Cuban Colada and flan.

First customer in @ 11AM to Nelly's Cuban Cafe today. I had been waiting a long time for this place to open with hopes it would have been last October. But the wait has been worth it and now they are open for business. I'm going to be flying high after this Cuban Colada (4 shots of espresso and sugar) with a side of fresh flan. The espresso shots are so creamy with a lucious "head". The housemade flan is very tasty and the consistency is smooth. The caramel topping has a nice brown sugar note and isn't too sweet. It was a perfect side to pair with my coffee drink. I also picked up a couple pork empanadas to have at home. They looked great with a flakey crust. The restaurant itself is charming and even though it looks small from the outside, it's very spacious. They also have outdoor seating which will be great when the weather is more conducive to eating al fresco. Trust...

Here for the Cubano, today, and their homemade FLAN! Their flan is worth a visit. Mase from scratch, GENEROUS slices and the absolute BEST Iever had. Cuban/Latin music and Avery relaxed atmosphere after a busy day.

I like a basic sandwich and this cuban Sammy was delish. Yucca fries had a dry taste but to be expected and they were hot fresh and yummy. Think I wouldve ordered extra ranch or sauce whatever it came with

And he buys his own fresh pig to craft his homemade sausages--delicious! He and his wife make you feel right at home, whether you choose to eat inside in the quaint dining area or on the tiled patio, where the neighborhood cat does his best to make you feel welcome. And don't forget the homemade, vegan fruit or veggie smoothies! I can't wait to go back.

Having just moved from the bottom of the earth in South America back to the good old US of A after…read more3+ years abroad, I was not sure that I wanted to jump back into Argentinian cuisine. But while on a Great American Road Trip, the hubby was craving steak, so I obliged. Boy am I glad we did! Pablo's is amazing as was our server Betsy. In South America, normal dinnertime is 8 p.m. or later, so I'm still getting used to "early" restaurant closing times in the US. We rolled into the quaint beachside town of Bandon, OR around 7:30 p.m. After a quick walk down the pier and through town, the hubs called Pablo's to see if they were still serving dinner (normal closing time is 8:30). To our delight, they were, so we walked over and were lucky to get one of the few tables under a "covid bubble." These little transparent dining pods are perfect not just for health reasons but also because they keep diners warm on cool nights. When I first saw the menu, I was a little surprised at the prices, but quickly realized that with only a handful of tables and high-quality ingredients, the prices were actually reasonable. We ordered a bottle of Mendoza Malbec (why on earth would you order anything else at an Argentinian restaurant?!?) as well as the shareable $130 steak dinner that comes with empanadas, salad, sides, and steak. What a deal! Everything was so delicious. We each had the Árabes empanadas (we can confirm that Argentina's empanadas are much better than Chile's, and Pablo's did not disappoint). Normally, my hubby isn't much of a salad guy, but the salad that accompanied the empanadas was so delicious, he scarfed it down to everyone's surprise. Pablo chatted with us between courses and we learned that he used to play soccer (futbol) in Argentina, his family is still there, and he recently trained under a Michelin-starred chef in Italy. When ordering dinner, we made an unusual request that Pablo graciously accommodated: hubby wanted his side of the steak medium-rare while I wanted mine medium. It was great. The grilled veggies (peppers, onions, zucchini) and pesto pasta were terrific. I had not had pine nuts since before we moved south, so that was a real treat after so many years without it. I was so stuffed from all the great food that I couldn't finish the pasta or veggies, so I took those to go and ended up eating them for breakfast the next day (don't judge, it was delicious and filling). If you want a really special, personalized dining experience with an internationally trained chef, you absolutely must visit Pablo's. If you have no interest in enjoying authentic Argentinian cuisine, Argentinian wine, and chatting with the chef, go somewhere else.
