I send my clients to Nellis when needing house hold items for less and things for their children like new car seats, walkers, baby things. Be sure everything is there before you leave because sometimes not everything is as posted. They give no problems in returns because of this. I have bought a chair for $1 and a brand new vacuum for $5. I was able to buy things that I needed for a fraction of the price. I recommend Nellis all the time. read more

The bidding system is easy to use, and scheduling pickup appointments is very convenient. The prices are often a great value compared to retail, which keeps me coming back. That said, some of items don't always work but the return process is straightforward. the workers can be a bit rude at times, which takes away from the experience. I love Nellis Auction and treat it like a thrifting treasure hunt. I've gotten amazing things for a fraction of the retail cost, and I'm reducing waste by using what others have already purchased. Pickups are a breeze, they really have their system down. The only thing I'd caution is to check your items immediately bc I have received some incorrect items as well as some broken or defective ones. The good thing is they allow returns within 7 days, which is amazing. You just need to be diligent about quality checking. Overall, I recommend this place to everyone! They need to hire someone that actually verifies that items work the last three times I've been buying stuff there's no plug it doesn't work. It has a plug from another country missing items. It's sad. Would recommend going to Estate Sales or other places than this one. read more

They have horrible customer service. I bid on an item and won it along with several other items. I drove 2 hours and picked up and when got home one of the items was completely the wrong item. It also was used, dirty and broken. I contacted Nellis and they said sometimes that happens and return it to the for a refund. Are you kidding? It's a 2 hr drive to bring back a broken wrong item. They need to refund for their mistakes. I provided pics to prove it. BEWARE of purchasing from them. It's A lot of hassle for minimal savings. read more

Very disappointed l with the bidding changes. First they added 30 second extension to all auctions and now they added a minimum bid. I didn't see an announcement about either one of these changes, it just appeared. Another thing upsetting is how they rate things. I've had to return so many things rated 5 stars that are not even worth a 1 star. When it comes to customer service I have zero complaints. All the employees are fantastic. read more

This place is located South of Buckeye on 40th Ave. This is the Phoenix location for pickup. You can check in by scanning the code (see photos). There are people there walking around as well who direct you to a spot and can check you in. The items are bid on their website kind of like eBay. I believe there are items that were returned to Amazon. Make sure you choose the correct location because there is a Phoenix location and Las Vegas location. There are some unbelievable deals. A couple of points, however, some items are mislabeled. Some items are missing things or damaged which they normally do declare in the description. They are very good about returns. If you want to return it for any reason, you can do it within 7 days. No questions. I got a squat rack for $66 (see photo). Now that is insane. It was missing some nuts and bolts but I matched them up and got the replacements from Lowe's for $30. The bench in the photo was $20. I did buy something that was supposed to be an end table but it turned out to be a fireplace accessory because it was mislabeled and they took it back and refunded no problem. read more

Nellis has allowed me to decorate my house after a remodel with pieces that are great quality and style but at a price that's super affordable. I have been shopping Nellis Auction for almost 2 years. But in the last 6-7 Months they have really gone down hill. Averaging a couple returns each weekend when I pick up because items are broken or the wrong item brought out of the warehouse. And I learned to return right there if possible by carefully inspecting each item before driving off. Open every box if taped shut. Sometimes it is something you did not win. Like t shirts instead of a stereo. I even had won and paid for online 22 items, paid over $300 dollars and went to pick up and they could not find any of all those items. All 22 were missing. Then you have to wait over a week to get a refund. Support is via email. And if you get a response , and I mean if, it can be days. In the 2 years been shopping with them spent thousands of dollars, but now when you go there it is hit or miss the items are what you paid for or they can find your items even though they were suppose to be in one large bundle for pick up. read more

Great if you want broken items and customer service that pretends to be helping while getting ready to ghost you. I had made a few one off purchases through Nellie's and some of them were good and some of them were not as good. My last time working with them I purchased enough items to furnish a rental home - over $3k worth of goods. All of the items I bid and won on were advertised as in working condition. I didn't expect them to be completely perfect, maybe some scratches/dents or something but working. Nearly $2k of the items were NON FUNCTIONAL. I'm talking tvs with no sound, couches that come without arms, a hot tub that doesn't heat, a kitchen sink that's cracked in the middle, a bunk bed that has box 2 of 2 but box 1 is nowhere to be found, etc. I reached out to them right away to have these items returned. They gave me the run around for over 3 months, saying one thing then another, finally ghosting me no returned calls no returned emails. So be careful what you buy from them, unless you're willing to take a full loss on the items. read more

Tips for having a great experience. Be prepared too meticulously examine each item before leaving the parking spot. Bring a box cutter, batteries, a multi-meter or anything that will help you test a product. Sometimes a box will be empty, a clock will not work, missing important parts to render a product useless. Check for visible damage. I am a handy person, so I got great deals where a little fix and parts replacement made it very worthwhile. I also have returned items on the spot that were shockingly used and deserve to be in the trash. They could do a better job of vetting. It's not for everyone but their no question asked return policy that gives me piece of mind and makes me a repeat customer. read more

Things have really changed at Nellis. There is NO customer service to help at all. No phone number to call, and their so called "on-line help desk" is a complete joke. I don't know who is managing Nellis in Phx but it's HORRIBLE! You pay for things, pick them up only to be missing items, then you don't know what is happening with your items or your refund. There is no communication. Then their help desk sends you an email stating that your "case is resolved" when no one has even reached out to you. It's quite ridiculous and NOT worth the aggravation at all. I was a great customer for years because of their customer service, now I'm done. read more

ONE: I bought a console table marked "no missing parts" and "no damage." It was missing a leg and the other leg was bent into a trapezoid shape. How on earth does the person inspecting the merch miss that? INSPECT EVERYTHING IN THE PARKING LOT and do not leave without making sure it is what it's supposed to be. TWO: Multiple times website glitches caused my bids to go sky high as I hit the "bid" button over and over when it appeared to be frozen with no update of my bid whatsoever -- I even took a video showing the problem. It said I had been outbid, but it was still listed in my "Winning" items. Later on, all of those bids were processed making the item cost more than on Amazon. I phoned customer service and they said they KNOW there was an issue but the IT dept is off for the weekend. So, I pay out of pocket to cancel the item and their website still isn't fixed... til who knows when... BEWARE - read the other reviews. I'm sure the family running this biz are nice people deep down, but their inspectors SUCK. Just look at how many listing errors there are. I drove all the way out to 40th Ave for nothing when I found out the "perfectly new" item had a leg missing and the one that remained in the box was BENT! It doesnt matter what I buy here, yes prices are slightly better than new items at most websites, but 90% of the purchases are faulty product, mislabeled or damaged, and I only get things under the 4 or 5 stars, they only give you a 7-day window for returns which for any electronics or things with more than 2 components, it is NOT a good place to buy from. Requesting a refund, if you're still on time, means you have to drive all the way to one of their location which usually means about a full hour wasted and a min of $15 in gas. On my first purchase, I got two items. One seemed fine. The second item was a package scale with a remote digital weight screen. Listing said used but all parts were there and it was working. Opened it up to find one battery compartment cover was missing. The digital screen was busted and black. The large scale itself was warped. They say "buy with confidence, all items inspected". Well I dispute that. Bummer part, I had to drive the scale back to them and I don't live close. read more

UPDATE.....The last 5 items I have purchased from Nellis that claim to be "new" and "no damage" items were anything but. They were all damaged. The people they have checking these items and marking them as new or otherwise, obviously don't take their jobs very seriously. Most recently, I won a soccer trainer that I was going to give to my son. The item said it was new and not damaged. My mistake, was not taking the item out of the box and inspecting it in the auction parking lot. In my defense, it was 110 outside and I had already had a long day so....shame on me! I am saddened to have to write this review, as I am not a review type of person. I have been a Nellis customer for years, and recently they have changed their website platform which changed the way they conduct their online business. Just recently (not sure how many times that has happened) I was monitoring an item until the time had expired, and after the bid was closed (15 secs after) it changed it to lost. I emailed Nellis with a screenshot of it closed with my screen showing win, and they asked me to call only to tell me that they understood the new way was not good and many people is and has complaint. I then spoke to a manager that told me that it can change up to 10 mins after it has closed. Not sure how that works, but if you ask me, not a good system and/or business. Does anybody know a better liquidation auction place? I'll update if I find another place. read more

You can get some good stuff at a reasonable price. Just be cautious, because sometimes the items are damaged.

3/4 of what we've bought is missing parts or not even what we bought all. The most recent being a bed that was the wrong size entirely. Staggering incompetence and disorganization. Save your money. read more

I was having one of those days where nothing was going right running late and everyone at the Nellis Auction (phoenix,Az Location) made me feel like a VIP. I talk to a super nice lady in Nevada that is where Nellis auction corporate office is she took the time helped me get a hold of someone at the Phoenix location. I was Halfway there and wasn't sure if I should just turn around that's when she got a hold of Tanner who said tell her to come on I'll be here at that time I didn't realise they still had to get my 134 items together.
