Members have access at 10 a.m. You order your items on the website and have three (3) days to pick up your purchases. Most... ALL? items are Amazon returns. Quality/condition can be questionable. So be aware of that. Item could be missing parts, damaged, inoperable. Item could be perfectly fine as well. The auction site gives you the option of paying a fee to sorta guarantee your purchase of said item and that allows you five days to return. Find things you need/want/could use/wanna share with a family/friends. Its sort of a new way to reuse/repurpose/recycle. And the price may be better than you could have ever imagined. read more

They pride themselves in selling alot of garbage i bid on and won 10 items this week 4 of them ended up in the trash all missing parts I still have 2 items that need to be tested so avoid anything you have to put together if you do feel the need get the buyers protection. My son spent his hard-earned money on what was advertised as a LEGO set, only for us to get it home and discover that it is clearly a generic knockoff brick set and not LEGO at all. To make matters worse, the imitation set is worth less than what we actually paid for this piece of garbage. If an item is advertised and sold as LEGO, customers should receive a genuine LEGO product--not a generic imitation. This is misleading and unacceptable, especially considering this was an open-box item that MAC.BID physically handled and had the opportunity to inspect. This was our first experience with MAC.BID, and so far it has been extremely disappointing. The only response I've received is that it's my issue and they are covered by their open-box policy. That's not the issue. The problem isn't that the item was open box but that it was falsely advertised and a counterfeit product was sold as LEGO. Along with the fake LEGO set, we also received a busted, unusable waffle maker and a broken umbrella. read more

For the second time I've come out from the east value only to get burned by this place. You CANNOT believe the ratings. I have learned from being burned three times before that you need to only buy " like new". Unfortunately, it happened again and it's the second time I have drove to Phoenix from the east Valley to get something that I really wanted that wasn't available at the other Mac Bid. When you open the box, it obviously isn't like new and it's missing pieces and hardware so I don't know why it's so hard to classify them. They don't put enough pictures on their listings either so that you can tell. About 20% of my purchases have been junk. Even though when you buy "like new" and it's not, you can get your money back in 10 days, it is still a scam and not cool. I'm done with this place. It's not a great deal. You're better off going to the Amazon bulk stores. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Mac. Bid and will not be returning. I am a new customer and have purchased several items recently. While some items were fine, I ended up purchasing multiple items that were clearly junk and should never have been put on the floor for sale in the first place. The final straw was a vacuum that was listed as "Open Box," but in reality it was completely nonfunctional and clearly at the end of its life. It looked like something that belonged at Goodwill, not on an auction floor being sold as an item someone would reasonably expect to work. When I contacted customer service, I explained that I understood the "as-is" policy and simply asked for a one-time exception as a new customer. Instead of addressing the situation, they sent me a generic email just repeating their policy and essentially saying it was my responsibility. There is a big difference between "open box," "used," and "completely dead." If an item does not power on at all, it should not be sold in the same category as open box items without clearly stating that it is nonfunctional. On top of that, all the extra fees and nickel-and-diming really add up and ruin what could have been a good thing. The concept is great, but the way it is currently run and the lack of customer service and transparency makes it a very frustrating experience. Too big, too fast. Customer service and common sense go a long way with new customers, and this was a very poor experience. Because of this, I will not be shopping here again. read more

I would strongly caution anyone considering MacBid. My experience was extremely disappointing and honestly felt deceptive. I purchased a cornhole set that was listed as "like new," but that description couldn't have been further from the truth. One of the boards arrived cracked in half, and the entire set was clearly heavily used--dirty and covered in cat hair. This was not a minor issue or wear-and-tear; it was completely misrepresented. To make matters worse, after all the added fees, the final price ended up being very close to what I could have paid for a brand-new set on Amazon--with none of the risk. Instead, I'm now out $70 on something unusable, with no refund. Overall, this experience felt like a bait-and-switch. Items are not accurately described, and the "deals" quickly disappear once fees are added. I will not be using MacBid again and would advise others to be very careful before purchasing. This place is a scam. First, they don't mention that you need to be authorized to pick up an item for your wife, it takes 10 business days to authorize a new person and you have to pay to hold it. The place is a dump and the people there are extremely rude and don't know what they're doing. Nelly's auction is light years ahead of those scammers. The line for Customer Service was at least nine people deep everyone complaining about the quality of the product in the same authorization issue. The place is very dirty as well. I would score 0 if I could. I purchased an item "like new" but was clearly broken. MACbid refused to refund. I will never purchase from or recommend Macbid again! I recommend using Nellis Auction instead. They have two locations (Phoenix and Mesa) they deliver items directly to your car and ALLOW returns no questions asked. You can even return items without leaving your car. So much better! Do yourself a favor and make the switch! read more

I made my first 3 purchases from the North Las Vegas warehouse yesterday. All 3 items were easy to find and turned out to be opened but unused and were in perfect condition. Personally, I found the bidding and buying process to be really easy to navigate. The staff was helpful and friendly too. 0/10 do not recommend. They need to reorganize how they do things. Take notes from other auctions setups to make it efficient for all parties. The whole "inspect an item before bidding or you're stuck with junk unless you spend more money for the return option" is so scammy. Most people don't have time to go down there, wander around to find an item to inspect it, just to be able to bid on it--and only if by chance it's in decent condition/not missing parts. 1 and done for us with this place too, no thank you. When I went to get my item I purchased, everybody I talked to had attitudes. I saw them throw items like they were nothing. If anything I would think these employees were damaging the items themselves. They didn't even help me look for my item when I asked. Come to find out there was a fight that happened that same day that I was there and no cops were called or anything. The managers didn't fire the people that got into a fight and still kept them there. They just slid it under the rug like nothing happened. So unprofessional, and an unsafe environment. I would hate to go into a place where I would be afraid of my own safety because people don't know how to handle their anger or keep their hands to themselves. Let alone letting that person still work there under managements approval says a lot about a company. Never again will I be coming back and I will tell my friends and family about this. read more

As a first time buyer I was EXTREMELY upset with Mac.bid. I drove all the way downtown to find that my Instant Win Duffel bag was not there! So mad and no one could help me. One and done! Still no refund either! I gave them a try and I am back to only using Nellis Auction. I have never been disappointed with Nellis and they do not charge you until you actually have the item. Well, I'm 0 for 2 and DONE with this sleazy company wasting my time. The first time was a bait a switch... but I got my money back. The second time was due to their inept communications (their website and emails don't support each other) and very poor customer service. Won a bid, as you know it doesn't show up on their website to the next day of which they want to be paid and they were via exisit card on account. Being busy I, simply relied on the email I received that night. It stated pick up from Sunday - Sat. 12-6p. I went to go pick up on Sunday and was told I had abandoned the product cuz their website stated to pick up in 3 days. Only I had no reason to go back to the website since I had the email. And, during this time NO email about the abandoning, nothing about what they had done on my account on their website. So I wasted my time and went to their business to get the product only to be told the above. I asked for my money back and the manager stated he didn't like my attitude so he was not going to refund my money. This after telling me "You can't read". And, being very confrontational. It was as if he was enjoying being condescending to a customer. He had this taunting demeanor and smirk on his face with condescending personal comments, even told me "customers not always right" after I told him I didn't like his attitude. DONE! read more
