Purchased by Neko's nephew and going through some positive changes. Be patient as it transitions. Solved an issue today. I recommend this pharmacy. Some of my prescriptions are required by insurance to go through a mail order Pharmacy. I would rather use Nekos Dedrick's and I do whenever allowed. read more

Do not go to Neko's pharmacy with a valid prescription for medical equipment. They do not take Medicare or your secondary insurance. They literally tossed the prescription back at us and offered to sell us the same. Providers should be aware of this. We needed this equipment asap. So disappointed that this long revered company falls so flat in its a$$ when serving their community. Amazon has the same unit for less than half the price. read more

My Dr. Prescribed a rollator (4 wheeled walker) for me. I was told to go to Nekos-Dedrick's Pharmacy and Medical Equipment on Front St in Kingston NY. (Pharmacy) I was told that all I needed to do was present the Rx along with my insurance cards and the Pharmacy would process the Rx and that my Insurance would cover it. I confidently hobbled into the Pharmacy and presented my Rx. The gentlemen took one look at the Rx and tossed the Rx back at me while stating, "We don't process insurance claims for Durable Medical Equipment". BUT, we can SELL you one for $175.00. I picked up my Rx form and left. This was a total waste of time and energy. Save your self some frustration, and don't look to Nekos-Dedrick's for any help in filling you Rx for any equipment. I ended up purchasing the same exact piece of equipment from Amazon for $72.00. read more

Very friendly and welcoming staff. It's a real pharmacy, so don't expect to get your potato chips there. But because of that they are fully stocked with a wide range of medical supplies. I always try to support locally owned businesses as indeed they support the larger community. Totally reliable consultations and they work out any problems with the doc or agency that sent in the script. When a new script is expensive or has to be ordered they always call to be sure you want it filled. Clearly this is my favorite pharmacy. read more

New location. The staff was helpful and friendly. Well priced with some stuff you wouldn't expect from a pharmacy, like higher-end knives and apparel. Demands your credit card information just to give you a price on a compound RX, promises not to charge your card before calling you with a price and getting your okay, but then charges your card and only calls you to tell you your RX is ready to pickup⁉ Also Unable to answer questions about the ingredients in your RX and seems irritated that you ask. When you complain to management, you are reluctantly given a refund but also told you are banned from ever purchasing this RX from them in the future. Zero accountability for their pricey RX compounds. They blame you for their employees uncouth practices and poor customer service‍Wouldn't it be better to correct the problem internally instead of denying the issue and making an honest customer the scapegoat⁉ I will never shop there again. PS: Then instead of issuing me a refund, they first charged me again for an RX I never authorized to be made. This means I was charged almost $100 x 2 without my permission. WTF Now my money is held up X2 for 3 days⁉ read more

Not your typical drug store. Nekos-Dedricks carries all the items that you wouldn't find in the larger chain drugstores. I'm a parapalegic and Nekos has a range of products for people in wheelchairs. Compression stockings, skin balm and wraps as well as catheters, in stock! If there is any negative, and this is out of the owner's control, the parking is limited, especially for handicap van parking. The back entrance is handicap friendly, but forget about the front door. read more

Phenomenal customer support. Really kind staff members who go above and beyond to accommodate their customers.

On a good day, the staff are condescending and dismissive. On a bad day, I have been treated with just plain hostility. I have had to be fitted for compression stockings here a few times due to insurance issues and I decided to just order them online and not have to deal with the staff there. I perhaps may have said something long ago to these folks that they took offense to, but I have no idea what it could have been. But I go there now only as a last resort. read more

While a helpful staff and having a wide assortment of durable medical equipment, the markups are really rather ridiculous, even compared to chains. (150-200% on the same product from a survey of the several DME suppliers on the Internet) And God help you if you have to return something. This may be an all-service community pharmacy, but it seems it's about the money...a little too much. read more

I was so shocked to find out that this huge pharmacy is not a Medicare provider. I was unable to have my script filled for durable medical goods without having to go through the hassle of trying to be reimbursed - and at the full Medicare rate. Whatever the story is behind that, I may never know, but I also will not go back there for anything. read more

Went there today right from the foot doctor who ordered a compression stocking. From the minute we walked through the door the woman who does the fitting was rude & condescending. It should be mandatory that people who work in healthcare must be compassionate and friendly to those who find themselves in need of services. I've been a volunteer in local EMS for 34+ years & I'm friendly, compassionate & always ready to help those in need without an attitude. read more

Wonderfully nice staff. Know what they are talking about. And best of all, can compound meds to suit your needs. Sure the chains may have better deals on such or such candy but for a real pharmacy it doesn't get better than here. read more

Extraordinary quality pharmacy! The pharmacy dept always goes far beyond to help you, even with compounding prescriptions! They work beautifully with doctors and patients to get things right the first time. Last month we were able to get an urgent prescription compounded so much faster than ever expected. We have ordered all our medical equipment from them and gotten perfect delivery and setups. Easy returns too. They have the best selections (even standing recliners!) and excellent experienced customer service in that dept too. After every visit, I feel so blessed to have them close by. read more

There's certain people/person there that plays power trip games with people's medicines. I was told I had to wait till the 9th to get my prescription, and I knew that was wrong. I called my insurance and they said I could have gotten it as early as the 2nd, but there's nothing they can do...it's up to the pharmacist. (nice huh?) Today is the 8th. So they are making me wait exactly 30 days to get my 30 supply....and there was 31 days in last month. And i need to take it every morning when i wake up. And to double check that i have picked them up one or two days early in the past...I looked at the dates on my old bottles that I throw into a box and use for computer screws, jumpers and other gadgets. I picked them up 26-29 days almost every month. I love the place and the people, but they have made errors too many times...and apologized many times.That's very nice...but. To err is human, but to intentionally play power trip games with my life and my health is not acceptable. I'm done. I'll give them my old bottles with a note...I don't want to hear apologies anymore and I don't want to call them out once again. It's sad when one person tarnishes the good reputation of a local business. If you do business with them, keep track of things and always get the name of whom you speak with. Because the famous 'who did you talk to' will always come into play. I normally say...I'm pretty sure it was an employee. Other than that, everyone else is very nice and efficient, and they are quick. I'll miss them but my health is important to me :( read more
