Excellent value for a pint of ice cream for five dollars. You can't beat that value…read more The mint pint was extraordinary. Some of the best mint ice cream with chocolate that I've ever tasted. So creamy. So cold. The diversity of flavor is truly relaxing to eat. Jessica was our cashier and she gave us great thick ice cream samples. Solid bites. I've never been served bigger portions, which is so cool. We tried a handful of flavors and she was so warm and friendly to talk to you. I also got the chocolate milk, peanut butter. It's not my favorite, and I feel like the peanut butter doesn't do anything to add to the chocolate milk. So I would not recommend the peanut butter. Jessica told us that their dairy is sourced from the local dairy farm that is awarded every year. They know their stuff!

Just love Stewart's. Big city goings-on here…read more This location's no exception. A bit smaller - and never humdrum! It's a super busy shop with wild eyed, sweet, knowledgeable girls behind the counters. They sell all the New York perks: coffee, hot dogs, chips, ice cream, burgers, soda. Really, it's a one stop for anything in your kitchen, garage, garden and grill, too. Though Stewart's is usually routine for everyone in this state. This brick shop is colorful, well placed (I highly recommend King's Pizza restaurant across the street!), lit up and the shop keepers take their time to color the placards, ads, prices, signs, holiday festivities and notes. Stewarts has become culture. Review: pitch perfect, busy 5

They have a large number of gas pumps, and the gas prices are reasonable, They have everything you need from food, snacks, other food items, and sundries, if you are in a pinch, they even sell cell phone cables. They have milk, beer , alcoholic hard sodas and teas, as well as sodas and other nonalcoholic drinks. I really like the "liquid death" flavored sparkling water. They come in some great flavors, with clever names.. They also have hot food, an espresso/coffee bar, and even a sandwich shop. The espresso bar and the sandwich shop are not open 24 hours, though . They also have an ATM that does not charge a surcharge. The only thing you would pay is whatever your bank charges you to not use one of their ATMs. If you get a quick check card, you can get some very good deals when your shop. All you do is swipe your card or punch in your phone number. Most of the time, the employees are very friendly, once in a while, you get somebody who is a little bit grumpy, but hey, everybody has a bad day. Be aware, that if you want a bag, you have to pay $.50 for one of their cloth bags. Yes, they are reusable, but I have so many of those darn things, I could open up my own grocery store. Overall, it's a good store. I wish they had them in California, where I live. I will I will always stop by when I am in town.

Over the past few months when being an Uber driver, I've been sometimes stopping into this gas…read morestation (including yesterday's fill-up within the 5pm hour) because it's my closest location to my current location. But everytime I stop in here, I'm always puzzled as to why it's so dirty and attracts so many poor street-people to "garbage-shop"(if that's really what it can be called)? I use pay-at-the-pump every time I come here with my GasBuddy card, and it seems like every time I come here, there are other street-walkers who come and pick through the garbage bins outside near the pumps. I seem to catch a glimpse of the garbage buckets (but never look through their contents), and they are always filled up with garbage along with many five-cent deposit bottles.(One time, I looked and it had over 4-five cent deposit bottles right off the top of it.) But that's not the way it is inside. I know it's small, but the employees are nice. I rarely have to go in and make a purchase, but there have been a few times I stepped inside. I was depressed once at the line, but that's a long story over that experience: and something that wasn't even my fault either but I wish not to explain it here. The store handled it to the best of their abilities, but it was just weird what happened. This location isn't in the best part of town, but it is on a main route (Broadway) (and near a secondary main route (Delaware Ave) that can be seen from this location). I do shop here, but not all that often; if I'm in town, I'd shop more at the Foxhall Ave location than here in the future, but only shop here if I'm in desperate need.

After completing a few nighttime Uber rides earlier this month, after noticing a heavy mess of dew…read moreon my windshield while driving (which my wipers just weren't cleaning up very well), I decided to stop in and try to find something to clear up the situation and get me home (such as soft paper towels and the like). Although I found this store to be a suitable place to buy simple items that are quickly needed, I really don't think I'll be in here much. I don't get to use (what used to be) Kingston Hospital much, and having this store around the corner might be convenient for those in desperate need of a quick prescription during the day (if they don't think they'll be able to walk into the other nearby CVS, RiteAids or other Walgreens in Kingston which are just as close. However, I found the store to be clean and well organized. It was late at night, but the store wasn't closed at that point when I walked in. Many kudos go to this store for being open when I needed them. It didn't take me very long at all to "shop" for the items, and I was even greeted that night walking in (although it was the cashier who didn't come out and say it to my face until much later when I brought my stuff to the register to check-out.) I don't remember closing my rewards card, so I was amazed that Walgreens still had my rewards card number in it's database (I have never used it since I started it in 2010) when I got rung up. I was also surprised at the product selection, though it was leaving a little more to be desired. In terms of soft paper towels, outside of Viva and a store-brand, I was amazed that there were no real other choices...but I took my chances and actually found that store-brand really did work for me in a pinch, and I thank you.

I just visited Walgreens around 12 PM, and the customer service at the front counter was extremely…read moredisappointing. The gentleman working the register had a terrible attitude toward multiple customers. One customer ahead of me even had to ask for a bag for his purchases. Nobody expects employees to be overly cheerful, but basic courtesy, professionalism, and respect should be expected, especially when working directly with the public. Everyone is going through something in life. People are dealing with deaths, personal struggles, financial hardships, and things you know nothing about. There is no reason to make customers feel like an inconvenience simply because they walked into your store. If you don't have the patience or temperament to work with the public, perhaps the front counter isn't the right position. Customer service matters, and this experience definitely deserves management's attention.

Although I've never had a reason to actually purchase medications from this Walgreen until recently…read morewhen I had to pick up a free prescription order for my younger brother, I thought I was going to have a problem. The employee, during a previous position with another customer, looked like he was going to have a hard time dealing with my problem. Although it took him a little while to obtain the right information via his computer, it took him a few extra seconds searching for the product. But in the end, his register printed the receipt and I got away scot-free. He actually served my order well, with very little to worry about. I know I shouldn't judge people by their previous actions, but it seemed like a difficult encounter to associate to when I got there. The rest of the store was clean and maintained, but the aisles were a bit narrower and I was unable to make it through successfully without bumping into something. Their selection of goods made them an applicable candidate to suit me when their competitors lost my business, although don't expect to see my drug orders converted to this pharmacy any time soon, as I have a bit of a medical situation/crisis going on myself. I do remember, though the times I used to use your store when it was in that mall nearby, and those were definitely the good ol' days. I thank you for moving your store closer to the main drag and even adding that Drive-Up window, and even for now being a 24/7 store. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Good Stewart's - I won't end 'til I've reviewed each one.. Stewart's has the friendliest staff and…read moreice cream shovelers anywhere! The franchise does an excellent on-site job training. They hire high school kids, mothers, elderly folks who are on strict finances. To me that is very commendable. They also sell ices in boxes from the freezers (their own flaves like rocky road, neapolitan etc.) and their drink, snack, soda, coffee, bars, candy, rolls, buns, crullers are the best to be had: if you are visiting the Empire State (NEW YORK), chances are you'll encounter the Stewart's (based in NY) brand. Remember: they do refills (for a charge) on coffee (used to, at least), the ice creams are solid and each place has 3 tables to chill! Thanks for being there a few nights ago. When a problematic situation arose in an UberEats order…read more(where the customer bought something that the restaurant couldn't provide), the customer turned his anger towards me, and asked me if I could provide it instead. To which, I knew I couldn't go back to the restaurant, and instead noticed your store open and knew instinctively what most Stewarts Shops carried and knew that this product could be found here. Although you were washing floors near the product, when you saw me head towards the wrong register (which would have been closer for the employee to ring it up on) (it was just a 2L Pepsi bottle), you communicated your intentions and performed to your best. I thank you. For being so close and open when I needed you, you shone in my darkest light. I know I don't walk into your particular store very often, but it was necessary. I still don't like your entry and exit points onto both Delaware Avenue and Broadway (there's no lighting onto Broadway) and it seems very confusing at this intersection due to the crisscrossing of yet a third road from a location nearby. I actually don't like this corner: cars coming from the 'Strand come up Broadway too quickly there and it can get interesting navigating. However, you shone your light at the entrance with LCD brightness that really provided me assurance that I'd be safe inside for a few minutes getting the necessary item. I asked for a receipt, and received it as asked. Thanks.
