Please do not ever shop at this Neiman Marcus location in North Carolina charlotte I traveled all the way there for vacation from Florida thinking I was going to receive the southern hospitality treatment that is praised by this place supposedly yet the hospitality was non existent. I went into store to process and do a return from a purchase I made back home for a designer dress I misplaced my receipt and had a hard time locating it. I was referred by the Neiman Marcus customer care support service to go into the nearest Neiman location for me which was in charlotte at the time it was my very first time there and I was going to have the store do a return for me as a merchandise gift card and that the store would know that I was coming in for this I went into store all they did was size me up and down and treat me like dirt they dragged me around walking from department to department claiming they were finding someone to help me with this return I asked for the store manager and instead a woman from the Brunello cucinelli department in the women's section brought me to a man named Joseph Allen in the downstairs shoe section who then denied the return rolling his eyes to me and sucking his teeth and lied to me claiming to be the store manager and that there is nothing he can do for me for this return thankfully I recorded him saying this out loud to me because I was told by Neiman Marcus customer service that the store manager / director would be a woman by the name Kristine Matthew's that I would be meeting with her and that they would reach out to the store to explain the circumstances for my arrival. This store operates like a complete joke and to come in and spend any money there would be a complete waste of time you will be eyed up and down and feel very out of place here I've never experienced anything in my life like this I would prefer to spend my time shopping for designer in Miami over this place. PLEASE PEOPLE CHOOSE SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SHOP & DO RETURNS IN PEACE. also contacting social_care@neimanmarcus.com is a big waste of time also since no one ever responds to you through this email thread I have contacted multiple times I am in process of trying to contact corporate headquarters about this and filing a complaint. read more

This store is still my favorite for all fragrances. The sales staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They're always dressed professionally and give great customer service. They make me feel valued every time I'm there. This new fragrance is called Bond No.9 and it comes in many scents with references to NY. The bottle is priced at $450/bottle. The promotion now is buy 2 and get one large bottle free. Miss Keisha is a great sales person. read more

Neiman Marcus was another store I used to frequent decades ago in Southern California. Back in those days, I could find certain brands not found in other upscale department stores. These days, I didn't care for the styles or merchandise for men's formal wear when at one time, I would frequent NM for shoes, ties, or suits. There were no employees around in the early hours of the store opening. Customer service has dipped at NM over the years. read more

I'd like to recognize Natalia for the outstanding customer service that she exhibited yesterday at the South Park Neiman Marcus store. She politely welcomed me to the store and offered any purchasing assistance needed; it really set the tone for my experience. It was refreshing to receive courteous and professional assistance. read more

I placed an order through Neiman Marcus. It was cancelled multiple times. I finally spoke with someone who assured me it would go through. The order has been processed, unfortunately missing a suite number on the delivery address which is a business. Fed Ex states Neiman Marcus just has to call to add the suite number. Neiman Marcus states they cannot do so. They also state the item will have 2 more attempted deliveries and when it cannot be delivered, it will be returned to Neiman for refund. How is this helpful to a company that is struggling? I just want my item. read more

I came to sample Loewe perfume. Two ladies helped me very nicely. The one I liked from the sample , they did not have in stock so they ordered it to ship to me. Order arrived a week later. I was excited to start using it but after a week the perfume still didnt grow on me. I decided to return or exchange it within the days policy but when I got there the lady told me they do not accept used perfume. This perfume costed me $200 and to be told they couldn't do anything about it is disappointing. When I bought it no one told me that I couldn't return or exchange it used or not. I just wished they were open to me before I spent that much money for a perfume that I don't like as much as I thought. Never again at Neiman's! read more

I recently had a great experience at Neiman Marcus located at SouthPark Mall. I went looking for a new parfum for myself to add to my collection. The store is well laid out, clean and well lit. The customer service was excellent and they were very knowledgeable about all the products I asked about. I spoke with an associate named Iman who helped me picked out a great fragrance by Creed and it helped that he wasn't pushy, but engaging and made sure to ask great qualifying questions so I would be able to make the right decision. I would definitely recommend Neiman Marcus for all things related to clothing and accessories. They have a great selection of many designers and you'd be hard pressed not to find what you're looking for. read more

I was asking for samples for perfume, and everyone always said they don't have any samples and can only do it if you're buying perfumes. So, I'm sorry, how I supposed to choose what new smells I like more on me? Is it better to buy whole bottle, try it and then return if I don't like it? (I had that kind of experience, it was different at home than it was at the store, and its easier just get a sample before buying). So now I'm buying perfumes from other stores who gave me samples to try it for sure. Worst customer service for that "buggy" store. read more

I recently had an extraordinary experience with a very knowledgeable cosmetic consultant at the Neiman-Marcus store in Charlotte at SouthPark Mall. Aisha Mills was extremely professional in recommending new lipsticks and products to try at the Dior counter. I even did a follow up with her to purchase additional product. I could have done all this online of course but Aisha was very helpful and organized in her deep knowledge of the product and how she uses them. Thanks so much Aisha! I will return soon! Kudos to Neiman-Marcus for hiring Ms. Mills. I am going back to get help with my office makeup bag! read more

Nobody contacted me that my altered clothes were done. Had they contacted me when they were done would have saved me 5 hours of driving. Place is a joke. Customer service is a joke. Was missing half my order when I did pick up. There is a reason they average 3.5 stars, it's earned read more

This is an update to my previous review. I just wanted to call out that reps from NM not only emailed me but called me to resolve my issue. They were so polite, especially Stephanie in speaking with me and being more than apologetic for my experience. She really made me feel heard as the customer and that is so important. The way that they turned things around in such a short period of time, they made sure one bad apple didn't spoil the bunch. Thank you, Stephanie and team, for going above and beyond to help me. read more

I purchased a few things online and had them shipped to my sisters. She was sure they would be good size but when she got them they just didn't fit quite right and were uncomfortable. So I had her schedule a return. Unfortunately she delayed the return a few days and Neiman Marcus did not receive them within 30 days of purchase. Now they ship them, takes 7-10 days. You return them takes 7-10 days. Add a few days and a weekend or 2 in there if you don't return them the exact day you receive them then you risk missing that 30 day window. So now I'm on the hook for $1200 because Neiman Marcus has absolutely terrible priorities. And now I'm never buying from them again. read more

The manager at beauty & fragrance is a rude personality and bad manner to talk with customers when you wanted to return items.

Neiman Marcus is a high-end department store, carrying luxury brands. The store is bright. The layout makes it easy to navigate between sections. Each section is extremely organized. They carry on-trend items. The associates are friendly and don't hover. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed an order for shoes on Dec. 20th for same day deliver. Item never came. I contacted Neiman Marcus on the 21st. I was informed that it would arrive on the 21st. The item never came. I was told to continue looking for a tracking #. Called on the 22nd. I was informed item would come on the 22nd and look out for a tracking number. Item never came. I contacted yesterday Dec 23rd. I was informed item wasn't coming until DECEMBER 26th. I placed the order on the 20th for a reason. Next thing I know, I check my email...item showed delivered. I never got the item. Now I have to wait 2 days before I can even file a claim. This put a damper on my Christmas. I will never order from you guys again. I will make sure to pass this lovely days of events on to family and friend to shop somewhere else. read more

Marla made my experience perfect! She was easy to communicate with and helped get exactly what I wanted!

Everytime I go to the fragrance section the staff is always helpful. They give great insight and are very welcoming!

Compared to back at home in Chicago, the service here is impeccable. Everyone is so friendly and extremely helpful. The layout of this store is a bit different, but someone was always somewhere to direct me to the correct place. The store itself is small to me compared to others back at home. They however, have a great selection of handbags +++ perfume and makeup. What I like about this store is that people are not crazy annoying shoppers (soccer moms) with kids that don't know how to act!! It is a very calm and laid back setting. I also don't feel like I'm being hounded by people who work there. It's just a relaxing shopping experience. read more

What?? No cafe? Not even a small one? No popovers??! (faint) Well... aside from that. This is a nice Neiman's...medium sized...with a pretty large selection of dresses.... so it seemed to me at the time. Shoe selection could be better. Bags were pretty standard. More denim would be helpful too. But no popovers. Sadness. For those who don't know, in store Neiman's only accepts it's own credit card or Amex. So go prepared. Online, you can use Visa/MC. read more

Most recently I went to Neiman Marcus to pick up an online order. It was a really easy process. Everyone I have ever worked with at NM has been very kind and professional. I decided to exchange the Gucci bag that I had purchased for a different color. I went to the Gucci counter and worked with Anne Marie to return and exchange the bag. The bag came on time and wrapped beautifully to ensure no harm. I had a wedding registry through NM and I will continue to be a dedicated customer and client. read more

My mother and I spend almost 4k that afternoon on December 2023. And they told us that we were going to receive a 100 dollar gift card from Neiman Marcus for the both of us but we haven't received it.it's been five months already and we still haven't received anything. We called them a couple times but they always have different stories to tell us on why we aren't receiving the cards and to just wait for a few weeks. So my mother and I came to the conclusion that the associates stole our cards and to this point we don't give a shit about the cards anymore since we have to wait this long to get no shit and for them to continue to make excuses. So to anyone reading this, I personally recommend to not shop here they would do anything for you to spend money there and when they are done they don't give a fuck about you anymore. It was the first time we shop there and it will be the last since they treat us like shit. The customer service is the worst. read more

Love NM! They finally accept Visa & MC. Thank goodness.. I am sure they had lots of complaints and lost a lot of customers because of that darn rule (only Amex!). Service: depends what I wear, then who I get. Luckily, the people who I have bought from were really nice - so I go to them for repeats. Goldie is super nice and goes above and beyond in the clothing line. Euvgenia is so humble and sweet in the jewelry section. Mark is wonderful and attentive in Men's section. Leonara is an expert in all skincare lines! These are my fave people and are nice, and will say hi to anyone! Price: it's Neiman's, it is expensive :( Place: I am so happy there is a NM here, but it is smaller than the ones I have been to. Thus, meaning less selection of purses, jewelry, skincare lines, shoes, and no restaurant. But the sales people here will go above and beyond to get what you need. Four? Well, it is a smaller store. If I do not see the sales rep I know, yes, others will ignore me. I just need a bigger NM! read more

I'm at neimens at the South Park mall at 7:15pm Friday sept 10th and I came in wanting to buy some Versace underwear. I looked at the options online before coming in to familiarize myself with the possible selection. I got to the section and began to look thru the messily arranged Versace underwear section for me. I found a few size mediums and this one box was marked lower than the others. As I noticed this a salesman approached me asking if I needed help. I told him I was going to ask but then I found exactly what I wanted, AND the price was marked lower. The salesman quickly says oh well, someone must have stuffed extra pairs in that box. I said, I don't think so, it's labeled "bi-pack" and there are only 2 in there. He made it very obvious that he was not going to honor the price and I ain't got time to play games. I didn't get his name but was disappointed that he wouldn't honor the price that a Neiman Marcus employee placed on the box. So between the messy disorganized bent out of shape boxes and this type of poor customer service I think I'll just order from Versace.com read more

We went in there looking for two dresses - one for a black tie wedding and another for a casual day wedding. We walked every women's department and exactly zero employees even acknowledged our existence and instead continued working and/or talking amongst themselves. In fact, a female employee in dresses walked right by us without making eye contact to speak to another woman and her daughter. The other woman had a classic brown "look at me" LV bag. I guess my bag wasn't expensive looking enough for them. Very reminiscent of a 90's movie where I was judged without cause and I will never ever shop there again. read more

This review is strictly for the perfume counter and the woman staffing it at the front of the store. My experience with her is not the level I am used to at Neiman Marcus. I really like this one perfume brand. I just wanted a few minutes to try some on and make my decision without her talking to me. I've tried to be polite to the salesperson. I listened to what she had to say and I've asked her to give me a few minutes, but she just won't shut up, won't let me just figure it out for myself which one I like the best without yapping at me and telling me this that and the other... I've tried 3 different times to try out this brand and she's always there and she will never let me be. I've flat out walked away while she's talking because she just won't stop. I know she's doing her job, but good grief!!! Let me make the decision and I'll buy some instead of being irritated to the point of walking away and deciding to purchase it online. read more

To start off a review with a song...if I had a million dollars...I might shop my heart out at Neiman Marcus. Compared to Nordies, they do have some of the best fashion focused brands out there. Louboutin, YSL, Chanel, Balenciaga. However, their service prevents me from spending tons o' time and money in the store. I have to agree with Dion on this one, unless I'm dressed to the nines and on my airs, I'm routinely ignored in the store. Maybe NM subscribes to a "the customer must ask for assistance" but I'm rarely even greeted when I'm in here. The one exception - the women's beauty department. I've even been in the shoe section to exchange a pair of shoes that my sweet husband purchased for me as a gift, and the folks there weren't warm, at all. And hubs just spent a very pretty penny on these shoes. Other items to note - they take American Express, their own CC or cash. That's it. I like your merchandise, Neiman's...but the service really has to step it up to move me away from Nordstrom and your online site. read more

To my knowledge this is the only place in Charlotte that sells designer clothing such as Gucci, Fendi, Dolce and Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, etc. Yes this place is considered by most to be extremely expensive for shopping, but for the goods they sell are actually pretty decent prices (compared to other outlets like Barney's or Sak's Fifth Ave, neither of which are located within 100 miles of Charlotte) If you are looking for designer brand clothing then this is the place to shop. It carries most big designer brands, though I was disappointed to know they don't carry my favorite designer Gianfranco Ferre. Most of the people I've talked to are somewhat knowledgeable about brands and can answer some questions about the items. read more

I went in here the other day to try on a Gucci belt for size before I order it. The sales lady who helped me was very nice. They have a new policy that if you open their makeup you cannot return it. If I knew this I would've never bought my elderly mother makeup for her bday. When shopping for something for yourself or maybe a special someone you can never go wrong here. I do feel like the service from associates at this location could be better; I've traveled to many places and visited several Neiman Marcus locations and this one has very stuffy service associates.
