The most recent visit was for a facial with Emily, who's an absolute expert in her craft. Shoutout Capricorns! During your session they assess your skin and let you know what they are doing and using. It's so calming that I often find myself falling asleep by the end of it. They have private tubs you can reserve for an hour if that's more the vibe you are feeling, but you can also use the hot tub before or after your appointment to soak which is so relaxing. I do appreciate the touches of tea kettles and tea in the lounge area that are complimentary. They also have snacks and other things if you are there longer. Remedy is such a sweet serene spot right in the university area that you'd kinda forget where you are because it's so peaceful while experiencing it, and that's why I can't recommend Emily and Remedy enough.

I didn't want the current bushy/full brows, but a leaner/finer look. Not only was she up for the challenge, she made it great. Just got back home, so I'll need to take a new photo in a few days once the tint has washed off my skin. Kristen is a lovely person to be with, very real, honest and high integrity. Not to mention over 20 years of experience. The price was more than fair, and I actually expected more. (Yes I tipped her). Put you trust in her and her salon, walk in and relax knowing what you need she can manage and work with you. Perfect business, lovely woman Kristen is. The two photos are 3 days later, no makeup at all, no brow pencil or color filler, no brow mascara, nothing and they are flawless. Everything seemed to work at first, then tapered off. I eventually decided to give up. When a coworker pointed out how bad my skin was, I decided to try to head to an acne clinic of some sort. I had no idea what I was looking for. Eventually I stumbled on ABQ Skin Care & Acne Clinic on Yelp and decided to make an appointment. I am so grateful that I did. I have now been a client for 2 years. I am obsessed with the staff, products, and treatments. Every appointment is like a spa day for me. I spend a lot of money at the clinic, but my skin is WORTH IT. I have clear, beautiful skin. I get compliments that I am "glowing" quite often. I have recommended multiple friends and family to the place. I even plan to bring my mom in for a microneedling treatment when she comes in town. I seriously couldn't be happier. When a treatment doesn't produce the expected results, the least a client should receive is a professional evaluation and a willingness to make things right, not excuses. On top of that, the receptionist consistently had a rude and dismissive attitude. She told me they would not provide any complimentary treatments, even though I never asked for one. All I wanted was to receive the service I had already paid for and have it done correctly. A reputable business stands behind its work and takes responsibility when something doesn't go as planned. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Instead, I was met with poor customer service, a lack of professionalism, and no accountability. For those reasons, I cannot recommend this place
