The food is great, I typically get a breakfast item and a beer and pop when I'm there on Thursdays after work with some of my coworkers and friends. The service our typical waitress, Heather, along with all waitresses staff gives is fantastic, can't complain about anything. The atmosphere is great, if you like some music and noise, but it's not too loud. Will continue to visit when I can. read more

Food was OK. Took 30 min for someone to help us, and the menu had roast beef on a lot of items and they were out at 4:30pm. Bar was dead and food took 45 min, and the order was wrong. Went here about a couple of weeks ago and really wanted breakfast food and got eggs and they were rubbery. Wouldn't have written any review but just found out I wasn't the only one the owner and staff were really rude to and waited about 45 minutes for eggs. Almost all of the employees are family members of the owner and you can tell they're not the nicest. Would give it 0 stars but unfortunately can't do that, just find it stupid that they serve food when at best they are a redneck joint that serves beer and liquor to make people think their food is good. read more

Crappy food and too pricey. We were 4 dudes who aren't overly picky. Ambitious menu with a ton of items that over promises and under delivers. The fish and chips dinner consisted of 2 fish sticks, the kind your kids might eat. My 3 meat skillet was watery in spite of the milk gravy on the top and included underdone potatoes, sliced breakfast sausage links, and scraps of ham I guess. Had to spit out one bite because something was rancid. Their specialty of roast beef, mashed potato and gravy was mostly potato and the little meat was fatty. A $12 hamburger was very average. With 5 pints, a small side salad, and a tip we spent $120. The shittiest meal on our one week trip to the area. At least no one got sick. read more

My friends and I stopped here last Sunday after a cabin weekend up north and we had the absolute best time ever!!!! Not only was the food and drinks just what we were looking for our server was probably one of the best any of us have ever had and that's coming from a table with a combined 2 decades plus in the industry. She had the best wit and banter with us and didn't miss a beat when it came to adding on to our conversations we seriously want to invite her to come with us to cabin weekend next year. So we went in on Kids Eat Free night and were told that we had to order an entree and a drink from the bar. AND a drink from the bar. So in order to get a meal that's a little over $5 for free we have to order and entree (normal) but also an alcoholic drink that costs $4.50. What if you're pregnant? What if you're a recovering alcoholic? This makes absolutely no sense and I'm seriously irritated about it. Would someone be willing to explain why this is a policy? Update- They responded on the Facebook page after I posted there. I'm not thrilled with the response I got which first seemed to suggest I had misunderstood my server. I didn't, I asked her twice. It just spiraled down from there with some random person commenting and then the restaurant coming back on when I responded to the random person. They weren't explicitly rude but they weren't particularly polite either. We aren't going back and I'm not changing my rating. They need to get a better cook that doesn't dip out on their servers, and they need to find a manager that is better at customer service. read more

Service was terrible. the food Was terrible. when asked to talk to a manager they did not have one on staff. When talked to the next person up they didn't take our complaints well. they asked us to leave our number for the manager to call them the next day and we have serious doubts that they won't call us. I would not recommend to anyone to eat there. just go somewhere else for cheaper burger and better food quality. read more

My husband and I tried out this place on a weekend without kids. The staff, drinks and food were great! Very welcoming place! That weekend we went twice. We enjoyed dinner, drinks and played some pull tabs. We've since brought our kids and the staff are so friendly and interact with them. It makes us feel welcome. My husband is a veteran and loved the bingo and meat raffle as well! Keep doing what your doing! We will be back frequently! You've stolen our business from another bar/restaurant! :) read more

Our evening meal here was VERY good. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The chicken tenders and sweet potato fries were so hot I could hardly eat them right away. Husband & I stopped in here for the first time and the friendly bartender was great in recommending items on the menu. I had the three meat breakfast skillet and my husband had the Reuben. All I can say is we will definitely be stopping by more often. The food prepared by JJ was awesome. read more

The rudest bartender ever! The boyfriend and I went here on Wed March 29th to shoot some pool and have a burger. We picked a few songs on the juke box ($5 worth). Half way through the first song the juke box went quiet. My boyfriend asked the bartender what happened to the music to which she replied, "my mistake, get the **** out!" We cancelled our food order and were packing up our pool cues, when the cook approached us, took $5 out of his own wallet and handed it to him, while the bartender yelled for us to hurry up. We will be following up with management tomorrow but patrons beware of what songs you pick as your choice could get you booted. read more

Stopped in here for a quick bite for lunch while visiting some nearby relatives. It's a typical hometown style looking tavern/restaurant; average atmosphere but boy is the food totally awesome. I had the best ever roast beef melt, my wife had the Philly cheesesteak & Mom had the chicken wrap. All three sandwiches were tasty and juicy; top notch food & service. You definitely won't be disappointed! I saw the other reviews for poor service but we had exactly the opposite. There was one waitress for about 4 sets of customers but our service was impeccable. I had breakfast on Saturday morning and had a good experience. The food was good and exactly what l expeted, good size portions, tasted very good and overall a good value. I work nights and i love being able to have a beer with my breakfast! This has become a favorite place for breakfast because of this. l should also mention that our server, Shea, was very personable, friendly and prompt. I look foward to my next visit! read more

Sorry to say- Horrible! SLOOOW service was the best part of our lunch. Mixed green salad- was unripened tomato and cheap head lettuce! Chicken Oscar entrée was over cooked and used fake fishy "krab" but market it as "crab". Club sandwich- indigestion as I type! Old stale bread soaked in grease, half the sandwich had no ham or tomato. The server was concerned and made an effort to "fix things" but, was more so interested in defending the cook than the quality of the food? I was in the other night and there was a fight and they way that the manager handled it was beyond embarrassing. Overreacted and was an embarrassment to the business and the owners. She was pregnant, made several stupid decisions, when the guy was being calmly escorted out by one of the regulars she then followed the guys outside and aggravated him even more. Then the police came and she yelled at the girl who called the police calling her stupid and other things. On top of that, the managers husband was one of the people in the fight. The low star rating is only because of Tara being the worst manager I've ever seen. I was kind of a regular, we love Alisha but my friends and I will not be back as long as Tara is the manager.
