    I dropped off a white shirt to get two stains removed. When I picked up the shirt he refused to let…read moreme see it before paying - first red flag. I pay and walk out to find the stains are still there, so I turn around and go back inside andtoask for a refund. He got extremely loud and defensive. He said he has a 'no guarantee policy' - keep in mind this is 'policy' not printed on any tickets or receipts and not told verbally to the customer. I'm frustrated that before I paid he did not say anything, after I paid he did not say anything, only when I confronted him about one stain he then said he was able to get out the other and when I flip it over the other stain is still there. Then he says he cannot remove stains from this style shirt - so he knew he could not perform his job when I dropped off the shirt but still accepted the shirt to make a quick dime off of me. It's not about the money or a refund now its about the fact that he is a liar and a thief.

I had brought to him a job in altering my 6 yrs old granddaughter's dress on 11/23/21 for her schools Christmas program on Dec 9th. in which he said he could do but to just give him a week or two. I said ok. On Dec 6th, I called for the dress and he told me he did not start to work on it yet. I was very calm and stated to him I needed the dress by Tuesday. He said no Wednesday at 6:30. I said no because if there is a problem with the dress what am I suppose to do? He said the dress is too much work for no money. I said oh really. You had me bring my granddaughter there, you measured her, you took the job, asked me for time and you have not even started? I said that is bad customer service, you are in my community. You do not treat customers like that! He said you can come and get the dress. I said you care nothing about your customer, nor my 6 yr old granddaughter who is so excited about her Christmas program. He said come Tuesday your dress will be ready. Well on that same day Monday he called me 5 hrs later and told me to come the dress was ready. Something did not seem right. I brought my husband with me right before he closed. He tried to charge me, I said I need to see the dress first. It was a botched job, the dress was cut and sewed in places with the thread coming out in which we never agreed to that. So now my husband is telling him a few things. He give me an address and tells us to go to the seamstress he had do it in which she was 45 minutes away. I was desperate for my granddaughter so I went.. The seamstress apologized and said he should of never taken on the job because he had no clue on how to sew the dress. He should of asked them first! The seamstress was able to revive the dress.. I had spoken to my lawyer who stated I could of taken him to small claims court because he damaged a brand new dress, and really the principle of it all. I will never patronize his business ever again. We should not allow businesses to come into our community and treat us like that, even if they did not treat you like that! A statement should be made!     So basically, I'disappointed. I brought 7 items to their establishment. 6 dresses and 1 skirt. All…read moreof them except 2 pieces were not worn. All I requested was for them to be steamed pressed. There were 2 ladies, one at least in her 60's and a younger Lady. The 60's lady didn't speak great English, but managed. They told me it would be an additional $8 if I want them back right away (the very next day), and I did. Then I told them, it's okay, I can pick them up Wednesday instead of the Tuesday- the drop off day was Monday. I leave them and when I look at the receipt they charged me the $8 anyway but it said pick up Tuesday at 5pm. No worries. They said I would get a text but I didn't so I called that Tuesday and they said it's ready. I go to pick up my clothes and as they should be they are in plastic. I get home and take them out to do a visual and the annoyance hit quick. My new blue dress (NEVER WORN), they put a safety pin through the dress to attach the number, like SERIOUSLY? If you are familiar with clothes, you know what material you should not put pins in. So now the front of my dress has damage right on the front. They also did it to my skirt. So as I was pulling the pin out, the skirt snagged. The rest of items they attached to the inside of the tag. I mean I just don't understand why they would do that. So bc it was late, I brought them back to the store and complained. The 60'd lady claimed that the owner was out of the Country and if I could leave them. I said NO because I am now going to my event and I need my clothes. She took my info AGAIN and said they would call me the following Monday. Well it's Saturday and I'm writing this review and they did not call me. They are unprofessional. The only reason I am not going to go back to complain (maybe) is because there are so many bigger issues in this World to think about. And what are they going to reimburse me? $5 or $10 bucks? It's just the principle for me. No wonder they have bad reviews. But also, why is there no name on the store and a different name on the receipt? The name on the receipt can't be found- SMART RETAIL FL LLC. Strange!! Anyway, thankfully, I made sure they were not noticeable. I won't be going back there. Just the fact they didn't call me back was enough for me.

    Garbage is the best descriptor. Every new business I go to I consume a sample only in case the…read moreservice, food, supplies etc. are not good and this works well. For example, I took one set of uniforms (pant and shirt) and only requested to have them pressed. The uniform was brand new with labels and all. They returned it to me in the exact same condition I had given it to them. In other words, they did absolutely nothing, they did not press it and yet had the gall to charge me. If I had taken all my uniforms at that moment, I would've spent a lot of money for nothing. Lesson learned. They will never ever make a penny from me.
