Trying not to let prom stress get the best of me, I tried my best to stay calm as I walked in and out of stores when I came across this one. Might as well give it a shot, right? WORST DECISION EVER. Right as I walked in, I was basically ignored. Then, a man walked up to me (I think he and his wife own the store) and asked me what specifically I wanted. At the time I was hoping for a maroon, plum, or evergreen dress that was simple, flowy, and had straps. I am typically a size 0 or 2. Right off the bat he showed me two dresses that were completely not what I wanted. It was as if he wasn't even listening to me! I spotted a cute maroon dress I liked so I asked to try it on. He gave me a size 6 of it even though the mannequin was wearing a 4, which would've obviously been a better representation of it. He just gave me the 6. And threw a hot pink dress, a super tight one, and a yellow one at me. Even my mom was getting irritated. No matter how many times we said we didn't want to try those things, he insisted. When I said I didn't like certain colors, he would literally BARK at me, telling me to try them. When I was walking around dresses that were a little bigger, just for some inspiration, the man's wife said loudly across the room, "there's nothing for you there!" When we tried to explain to them that we weren't interested in ordering online, they tried to convince us even though I had already adamantly said no THREE TIMES! If I could give this place NO STARS I WOULD. Mothers, fathers, guardians anyone who is shopping for a dress for their daughter, neice, sister, whomever, DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. My friend and I went to this place to go prom dress shopping. She found a beautiful long red dress that she would prefer in black and we asked if they have it in black. The male employee said he is able to order the dress in black and have it in a week with no problem. My friend was excited and she left the deposit. 2 WEEKS LATER she still didn't recieve a call, so I called themselve myself. A man answered and told us he was going to call us tonight (yeah right) and inform us that they can't "find" the dress in black or in her size! WOW, it took them 2 WEEKS to figure out they don't have the dress in black? I worked in retail before and I know the process and it does NOT take 2 WEEKS to find out if you have the color or not! Our prom is in 5 DAYS and now she left with nothing! She's a mess, she's crying and super upset and there isn't much I can do because it is already too late to find anything good let alone finding the right size. If they would have told her in a week she would have taken the red dress with no problem, but by the second week it was already sold out !They did not offer to accomdate her or help her in anyway. The employees are disorganzed and iresposnible and this business is not a qualified retailer who cares about their customers. DON"T COME HERE FOR PROM FOR GRAUDATION FOR ANY KIND OF EVENT! ZERO. This store has the worst customer service I have ever seen. First I did not find anyone in the store for a couple of minutes. When finally I found the salesperson to ask for a particular dress that was hanging on the wall she told me, to wait till she finishes steam ironing a wrinkled dress. (!!!??) Horrible, horrible, horrible. I ordered my prom dress in January so it was pretty early. We wanted a size 12 and that's what they told us they ordered. They never called to notify us it was in. When I finally tried on the dress I noticed it was a size 10. When confronting them, they said the company had no more 12s when clearly online they did. I even called the company and they said they still made 12s. Yes, they went against my wishes WITHOUT even asking me and ordered me a size 10 when we agreed on a 12. When I tried on the dress for the neelam employees they told me I must have gained wait because according to their measurements the 10 shouldve fit. They later altered the dress (yes I was dumb for letting them touch my dress) and cut it way too short so that you could clearly see my feet. They once again would not admit they were wrong, they said I must have grown, really? After all the stress, money and tears I shed, they wouldn't even give me a $15 hand bag that matched my dress and continued to blame everything on me. I highly suggest going to chic boutique on the top floor on the opposite side of the mall. read more

Terrible service! I went in for a bride's maid dress which was out of state. The dress I had selected was beautiful and so much detailing in beading and lace only it required some loose beading to be tightened along with hemming and a hook and eye for the back of the dress so I wouldn't be showing too much. I informed them that I needed the dress by a certain date because I was leaving with it out of state for a wedding I would be a part of. Thankfully I thought to lie and tell them I was leaving a week earlier than the real date because the only work they had done was the hemming. The hook and eye literally takes all of 10 minutes max, I could have done that myself, but I paid them to do it. The beading also was not touched! I then gave them another few days to complete the work they didn't do which was thankfully done when they promised, however they did leave one patch of beads unfixed but I had to take it "as is" because I was leaving the following day and I had already paid for the dress including alterations so arguing over it was not getting anywhere. Thankfully my hair is long and it covered the loose beads on the day of the wedding but for the price of the dress including the alterations, I definitely got taken advantage of in my situation. Maybe I should not have mentioned the urgency of my dress but maybe they should have done the work they were paid to do. read more

HORRIBLE BEWARE. So 5 years ago I went shopping for my prom dress (I was 17 years old). I had found the dress I wanted in this store and the beading was horribly sewn and falling off. After trying the gown on MRS. NEELAM grabbed the dress from my hands-while im still in the dressing room- and accused me of damaging her property and to pay double the cost of the dress. Can you imagine being so young and hearing this?! Oh and when i refused to pay she threatened to call the police on me! Well today my sister was prom dress shopping and almost the same thing happened. The dress she wanted was too small so I asked if there were more sizes. She responded by telling me the cost of the dress as is I couldnt afford it. So dress in hand we continued to look around when MRS. NEELAM chased us down, ripped the dress out of my sisters hand and said she couldnt try it on because she would rip the dress. She then takes the dress OUT of the bag that we never opened and began inspecting it for damage. Well MRS. NEELAM...remember when you called me a child? This 22 YEAR OLD child is going on every site I can find to give your business the reviews it deserves. You are a disgrace. Do not let your teenagers shop here alone. My sister was in tears.
