When you come in here you get a comic shop, but you also get to marvel (get it?) at his artwork which is also on display and available for purchase. Every person there was very friendly and helpful. Even though there was a tournament going on, they were kind enough to sit with me and explain things, and I even played a game before the night was over. It's literally the kind of place where you can lose an hour without even realizing it. First off, say hello to Pacer, the AMAZING shop dog and official mascot of Gotham City Limit. He's the sweetest, the best greeter, and the best browsing buddy. Who doesn't want to shop with a good boy by your side? If you don't see Ben, you'll definitely hear his greeting from somewhere in the store as that man is just nonstop. Ben's dedication shows, especially on Free Comic Book Day and special release days, when Gotham City Limit turns into a full-blown celebration. On top of that, he partners with Jacksonville Public Library when they host comic-centered events and you'll see him at different conventions throughout the year. Ben makes sure everyone, from kids to hardcore collectors, feels welcome and included. He asked if I had a price in mind, and I let him know I wasn't familiar with my items to know. He gave me a number that I think was reasonable, and he cut me a check. The main reason I wanted to leave this 5 star review was for the young man working the counter in the front. Warm welcome the moment we walked in, attentive to any questions we had, and overall the KINDEST employee we have ever interacted with in the 9 locations I have been to. I unfortunately did not catch his name but he must be college age since he said he was getting ready for his midterms. We fan girled over Hunchback of Notre Dame because of my earrings and I told him to look up 1998 Notre Dame De Paris on YouTube. Having more workers with his customer service skills/ level of friendliness makes a huge difference compared to others we have been to in the past.

When we brought it to the counter to ask about it, we were told it was a 'factory seal error' and that the extra pack was supposedly worth $800, even though we had just paid $114 for the box. It felt misleading and raised a lot of red flags. We were able to get a refund, but the situation was awkward and poorly handled. The store itself was disorganized, and when we walked in, a group of people just sat around staring like it was strange anyone came in. Overall, it felt unprofessional and like false advertising. Would not recommend.
