I didn't really have a goal in mind for what I wanted, so just going through the stacks and browsing to see if anything caught my eye was the basic plan. Lots of people lined up, but I got through the line pretty quickly. Inside, the books are arranged in a reasonable order, and the different sections are easy to identify, so finding areas that interested me was not a problem. Coming across the cooking section, I found that there were a number of smaller cookbooks that I like to term as "Wive's Club Cookbooks" which can be some of the best/most entertaining cookbooks you can come across due to the nature of the recipes that are contained in them. You never know what you are going to find in them, though recipes from the 1960's are prevalent and gelatin comes into heavy play. Good stuff there, and I stocked up on them. Overall, the Friends of the Library book sale is always a good thing to go to!

Even here Liberals have to assert their politics. The book 'Rigged' by Molly Hemingway was in a section labeled "Political Fiction". I had read the whole thing and it was well researched, with over 84 pages of sources. I challenge anyone to find just one false statement in it.

With a healthy assortment of both Western and Eastern products this place has a little bit of everything in he best way. If you're looking for Weeb delights: manga, plushies, and figurines. You're in luck! This place is one of the few places in Ocala that has them! Not an otaku? No need to fret. They have everything from Marvel, DC, and even a few products from new shows that recently came out! If you're in Ocala and need to get your hands on a comic, figurine, board game, or even a gift for a friend. It's my go to spot! Worth a visit!

Comic Shop organized a Pre Release event for the One Piece Paramount War card game. The organizers…read moretold players that booster box purchases would have priority to players who participated in the event. On the day of the event, players who signed up were written on a short list to be able to purchase a box during the middle of the event. Mid-way through the event, the staff informed players that only the top half of the short list would receive a box. At the end of the event, the staff told the players who were on the top half, that the list was rewritten, their placement was changed, and there was no longer a box available to them. As a player who was among the top half of the original list, I felt very hurt, frustrated, with a broken trust with the comic shop at that point. I also had a friend who arrived earlier, was number 2 on the list, but had his name scratched out and told he couldn't get a box. It was very shady and borderline false advertisement. My recommendation to the comic book shop is to be truthful and upfront to prevent these kinds of things from happening. They lost returning customers.

Really loved experience we had at house of collectibles. The owner, older gentleman named Mr…read more French., could not have been nicer and more helpful. And he has a few stories to tell. His son came in at one point and helped us with the purchase of some albums. They have albums that are open and albums that are sealed, and they have a lot of genres of music to choose from. I ended up buying a Pink Floyd album that I had been trying to locate and it was sealed. I didn't want to open it because that would decrease the value so I called back to see if they had an open copy which they did so I went back the next day and bought it. I don't know I could really explain everything that's in the store. Their books, paperback and hardback. But more than that, they have first edition, signed books by the author and kids books as well. You know what else they have? They have albums, but I already mentioned that. But what I didn't mention was I have three or four rooms of albums. They're on the floor. They're in boxes. They're on racks. So if you're looking for certain music, make sure that you leave yourself enough time to look.. They also have comic books. And trade paperbacks. And graphic novels. They have baseball cards. They have garbage pail cards. They have collectibles, figures, Star Wars, stuff. Yes, lots and lots of stuff . Thoroughly enjoyed shopping here and meeting Mr. French and talking to his son. I know this may not be everybody's jam, but for me I really enjoyed spending time browsing looking and yes, buying.
