II contracted with Ned Stevens Gutters 2 years ago to install new gutters and maintain my home's roof in Marietta Ga. - with catastrophically bad results. They destroyed most of the shingles adjacent to the gutters during installation and hid the fact from me. I have photos. This caused water damage and requires me to replace the roof prematurely - at a cost of $3000. They hid the damage until this summer when I saw their staff blowing shingles off the roof and kidding about it. I am 70 and had not climbed the roof in some time. I asked them to replace the shingles. They would not. My next call was to the company, insisting they repair the damage. The company refused, agreed then refused again. A customer service staff called and mocked me sarcastically. I hope it was recorded. FYI I paid them over $2100 over a 2 year period. It was a very unwise investment. They are unethical and unprofessional. read more

The company bought out Atlanta's best gutters so I gave them one shot. Paid for them to bag the debris and hall it off. I was home and there was no bagging of the leaves. They did a great job of hiding it in the bushes. Watched the truck leave without any of the debris that was supposed to be hauled away. I called up and was apologized to and then he read me a report of all the gutter repairs that needed to be done. Wouldn't give an estimate. Amazing how someone else didn't find these repairs were needed. Also tried to sell every service they had to offer. read more

Company showed up early in the morning without notice of any kind. They did not ring doorbell to let us know they were there. We were away from home but saw "someone" on our front porch through our ring doorbell. They claim I contacted them to do gutter cleaning when they took over for another company I used for years. They keep sending a bill for gutter cleaning I did not agree to, nor the costs. Disputing charge. Do not believe the Google reviews. Look at yelp and you will see a pattern with this company. read more

This company has slick marketing but I would urge everyone to avoid at all costs. They have pushy sales tactics and will do everything they can to "hook" you into contracts that can not be broken. Looks like all Yelp users agree - this is the worst of the worst! read more

This is long overdue. This company had been cleaning our gutters for years. The last time they came to clean our gutters, one of the employees turned the gutter 180 degrees and broke it from the bottom attachment. The gutter was filthy with black& brown dirt. it was apparent from just looking at the gutter that is was broken and the side that was facing the house was now facing out and completely unattached from the bottom. I called the company and left a message. The call was returned the next day. The lady on the phone stated that they didn't do that. I sent her pictures of the gutter. She then said she would send somebody out to fix it. Later in the week, I noticed the gutter had been turned around but not reattached to the bottom. I then called the company back and said it was not fixed properly. She said they did repair it. I told her that I would not be using their service again. Then, they had the nerve to mail be a reminder that my gutters were due to be cleaned. This is what prompted me to write this review. read more

Do not use this company. They bought Atlanta's Best Gutters and do not honor the work done by Atlanta's Best gutters. I had new gutters installed in November of 2021 and noticed an issue so called Ned Steven's to follow up. They quoted me the cost of the whole house of gutters to replace one down spout. They are shady in their business practices and only interest in up selling services. I have canceled my quarterly service with them and found a local provider on NextDoor that was more reasonable and available. read more

Please don't waste your time, because they will definitely waste yours! I was quoted a price, and set up for service. However, they couldn't give me a specific date to have the gutters replaced. I explained that because of the leak, it was pouring water in to my home, so needed it done ASAP. They assured me that it would be done soon. After 2 months, of me constantly calling we finally set a date for service. I had them put it in writing, that it would be done. The day of the service, they sent a text message saying they would not be able to do the job that day. Again, I waited..After a week, the technician came out "supposedly" and says they can't do the job due to the height of my home. You DO have ladders correct!? Almost 3 months now, and I'm back at square one! read more

They purchase Atlanta's Best gutters but will not honor the Warranty on gutters purchased from Atlanta's Best gutters less than one and a half years ago. they wanted to do a gutter inspection for almost $150 before they would even discuss fixing the gutter that had clearly become detached from the downspout. Furthermore they do a hard sell on purchasing gutter cleaning for four times a year to the tune of $600. I had just had Ned Stevens clean the gutters two months earlier so to pay for an inspection seemed ridiculous. The next day another gutter company came out and made the repair for $75 and told me the downspouts Had obviously not been cleaned two months prior when I paid Ned Stevens to do it read more

Ned Stevens took over for the gutter cleaning company I used for years. They sent me an email to see if I wanted service and I responded "yes" before checking them out. It only took a quick search to discover that they falsely advertise themselves as a BBB accredited business with an A+ rating on both their website and voicemail when in fact, they are not accredited by the BBB at all and they have a B minus rating. but good luck canceling their service call - you will wait on hold interminably while hearing about their A+ BBB rating. read more

Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning provided us with a prompt estimate on cleaning our gutters and installing a leaf filter system. The crew arrived at scheduled time, were friendly and finished the job in a timely manner. read more

Got to my house and left in 5 mintues. No call, no knock on the door. Called me back the next day and said my house was to dangeous and they would not do it. The company they bought cleaned my gutters twice a year for 8 years. My house is like 90% of all the houses in my area. It is a 14 year old house with a new roof 5 years ago. If you have a 2 story house with a basement call someone else. It will take them a month to come out then another month to schedule someone else. read more

Beware! This is a front company. They do not show up for weeks when they say they will, then may suddenly appear, climb on your roof and start "cleaning" even if you finally had someone else clean the gutters the previous week after giving up on them. They have a local address and phone number, but it redirects to their actual location in New Jersey. Do not even think of calling this scam company. read more

Can I give zero stars? The company came in October and cleaned our gutters. Great! Supposed to come again end of November. Never showed. Since December I've been calling weekly to get them out - can't tell me when they'll be here. Finally I got tired of waiting and found another company. When I called Ned Stephen's to cancel, all of a sudden they could guarantee me service next day! And at a high discount to be cheaper! Ok so I gave them another chance. Guess who never showed up today? I called the office to tell them no tech had come and he tells me a tech came and said there was mold on the roof it wasn't safe. So first, I see no mold on my roof (and frankly was here all day and saw no gutter cleaners), second, if there was mold why didn't they ring the bell and show it to us. Third, at a minimum, when you already have an unhappy customer why didn't you call me before I called you? DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS IF YOU EVER WANT YOUR GUTTERS CLEANED. read more

I agree with the other comments on the low ratings. When they finally did come out they didn't clean the down spouts. Initial contact made on 1/7/2022 and now 4/5/2022 I'm still waiting for the job to be finished. You hear a lot of excuses (late leaves falling, weather, dangerous, etc.) but what you don't hear is when work will be done. They also like to bash the previous company they bought, Atlanta's Best Gutter cleaning....who did a much better job. read more

Zero stars. The decrease in quality and customer service since this company took over the previous service I used (who were great) is absolutely a 180. It starts with the fact that they can't be bothered to give you any advance notice of when your house is on the schedule to be cleaned. Their predecessor company, and every other gutter cleaning company I have used at other homes, lets you know when your service is coming up within a couple of weeks, then gives you a courtesy call the day before to let you know you are on the schedule for tomorrow. Nothing of the sort from old Ned Stevens. When I called and spoke to their service representative (more on that later) she said that it wasn't possible due to the way they work. I'd say the way they work needs to change! Now, the reason I was on the phone with them in the first place was because they had left a door tag saying they found a problem during my service. This "problem" turned out to be an upsell for some sort of roof cleaning - don't be bamboozled! I promptly canceled my service agreement but was on the schedule for one more cleaning under the agreement. This never happened: on a day when I was home all day but certainly not expecting them (see above), I received a surprise text: "Oopsie! We tried to do your gutter cleaning today but there was a problem." No phone call, no further info, and no door tag to indicate that they ever actually even came out. I never bothered to call to reschedule, at which point their texts and emails to attempt to reschedule became more and more insistent until they finally gave up. I have moved onto a different gutter cleaning company and couldn't be happier to have left Ned Stevens in the dust. read more

I used this company when it was Atlanta Gutter Cleaning and loved it. I am not happy with the ability to communicate with Ned Stevens or the work his people did. read more

Something is really wrong with this company's operation. I ordered dryer vent cleaning after seeing a promotion that I received from Ned Stevens via e-mail. They would not commit to a service date at the time I placed the order and informed me that they would advise on scheduling at a later date. I called back several times after the initial call to try and confirm the service date and was told that it was still pending. Months later I received a text message that stated they were in route. I called my tenant to inform them only to find out about an hour later that the service crew canceled. Several weeks later I received a text that stated the service had been completed. Mind you, this time there was no preceding text message to indicate that the crew was on their way. I also received an invoice and sent payment shortly after receiving it. Today, I received a text message stating that the crew was on their way.... I immediately called Ned Stevens only to find out that although they said they completed the service and accepted my payment, they actually never came out. I asked the customer service rep to cancel the service and after lots of back and forth I requested to speak with the supervisor. I received a call back from the supervisor and he canceled the order and had the audacity to ask whether I would like to put it on schedule for annual cleaning! NOT!!! read more

This company is scamming homeowners. I researched the company online, called to vet the prices and spoke to a guy named Danny. I arranged for them to come to my property and clean my gutters. After receiving a better price from one of their competitors, I called back on the same day to cancel the appointment. That was 6 months ago. Tuesday morning I was awaken by a text that read-We are on our way to your property. I was on a Zoom call when I realized that someone was on my roof. I spoke to the guys on the roof, explained that I need for them to contact their manager and inform him that I cancelled the service and had not expected for them to come to my property after no contact for 6 months. They did not knock on the door to inform me when they arrived at my property, and did not inform me when they departed my property. Why are they sneaking around servicing property without a written consent of the property owner? Then charging $168.00. I will be calling my credit card and disputing the charge. read more
