I've been using this service for over 10 years! Brian Boyd the crew manager make sure the job gets done right ! He always says if something is not done right he make sure somebody comes back to correct it! I Would like to get the same service technician each time but not always possible. Paul was amazing ! I was impressed with a lot of safety measures he maintained. Such as making sure someone held his ladder to spot him, also having his lifeline held he'll ask another crew member to hold it . Pending update: After being scheduled and rescheduled for three months, I finally got a set appointment. I rescheduled my whole day with the expectation that they would arrive between 11am-2pm. When it was 1:55pm, I called and asked why they didn't show. I was then told that "Oops, yesterday we rescheduled you for 1-4 pm. Someone should have called you." OK, so now I have wasted 3 hours of my day that I had to take off work and you now want to waste 3 more? I then asked to be rescheduled for another day. I was then told that they would move my appointment to the next week and that I would be told THE DAY BEFORE what time window they would show up. Wait, what?! So you want me to have to tell my job that I can't be there in less than 24 hours?! No, boo boo. Cancel it altogether. After some emails with the team lead, we are scheduled again for August. Atlanta's Best Gutter Cleaners DOES NOT EXIST anymore! I had Atlanta's Best Gutter Cleaners before they were acquired by Ned Stephens. They were phenomenal and reliable back then. After Ned Stephens bought them, I have had nothing but headaches. They do not come when they are scheduled. They show up 3 months late. You never know when they are coming. They report ambiguous problems with my gutters but won't tell you unless you call them. Then they try to sell you $400 roof washing for "organic staining" on the roof. I'm sorry that I gave Ned Stevens 4 chances to clean my gutters. I'm breaking up with them. read more

Edited: 4/7/20202 I previously wrote a review which i stated there was documentation that shows they repaired but didn't. I was actually only given an estimate. The manager was patient with me, and went through the invoice. And the invoice said as such. I was clearly wrong as I misread the invoice. After speaking with management there was a clear misunderstanding on what was to be done today. The gutters were cleaned today. And I will have a repair date by end of day. I appreciate the communication with management. I can say that I am satisfied with the solution he came up with. I can comfortably recommend Atlanta's Best Gutter Cleaners. These guys are nuts but they do a fantastic job. Our neighborhood association works out a good deal with them the hit as many houses that sign up over a day or two every January. What they charge is well worth paying. I've watched them and can't believe how the maneuver around on the roof. I don't know how they do it but they do a good job. read more

I have used these guys over the years, but they do an average job at best. Today I noticed they left aluminum ladder marks on the railing and on the gutters. I also discovered one gutter was still clogged and overflowing. I had to get up on a ladder and use a long brush and water hose to unclog it. Crews had to come out 4 times to complete the work initially requested. Despite me putting all details on the initial contact form and request for service, they were unable to do the work requested at the first visit, just the roof/gutter cleaning, and they rescheduled us for a later date for the minor gutter repairs, and the satellite dish removal. After the initial cleaning, shingle debris was left on the siding. A light rinse with the hose, as advertised, would have been better. I showed the crew where the hose was and let them know it was on. The crew left large amounts of roofing nails in our downspouts, driveway, sidewalk, and yard. Customer service apologized and promised to have them removed at the next visit weeks later. We had to pick the nails up sooner to avoid a flat tire, nail in our shoes, or in our dog's feet. At the next visit they did go around with a magnet and removed most of the nails. The satellite dish removal and upside-down shingle replacement was done at the 2nd visit. It took 2 more visits/attempts to correct lumpiness, uneven spacing, and crooked lines. The original crew was accidentally sent back out (3rd visit) to correct the lumpiness and uneven lines, didn't see anything wrong, and left. I am thankful we were able to see the spot from the ground otherwise we may have never known there was something wrong. We were told by ABGC representative on the 4th visit, the shingles were placed upside down and the wrong shingles were used. This was also confirmed by another roofing company WE had out to do an estimate for corrective work. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Atlanta's Best Gutter Cleaners. Customer service was decent and they did stay in communication, but the overall hassle was unpleasant. Response to owner: I would have used my owner's response to assure potential customers the issues presented above have been remediated by conducting proper roofing training for all crews and a quality assurance process has been implemented. I was present for the first visit, evidenced by my physical signature on the estimate. I have security camera footage to confirm. ABGC was hired to clean out the gutters, no matter who or what placed the debris in the gutters. Yes, roofing nails were evidently in the gutters. A representative stated the truck should have had a magnet to pick them up but you would ensure it was addressed at the next visit (2 of 4). I became tired of the many emails and phone calls it was taking to resolve the issues and enlisted my husband to deal with ABGC as I have a full time job that needed my attention. My husband asked for a full refund, mistakenly included the $75 for the gutter repairs. ABGC countered with $80, instead of the $200 we paid for the satellite removal and roof patch as the shingles didn't match and were installed incorrectly (up-side-down). If a job is done so poorly that it has to be completely redone, a full refund is reasonable. We were never offered any sort of compensation or discount. I was repeatedly told it was only cosmetic and criticized for being overly particular. I worked from home 4 days and spent hours emailing and taking phone calls with ABCG, in addition to the stress of knowing my newer roof was potentially compromised. I am very thankful there wasn't a severe storm in the months it took to resolve. We were never offered anything for the trouble. Of course I did not start this relationship with negative expectations. In fact I was referred by a neighbor (I've since updated them so they don't recommend ABGC anymore), and I tipped the initial crew (visit 1/4) as a thank you for cleaning the gutters, prior to me discovering the nails and leaf debris stuck to the siding. I stand by my 1/5 star review on Google and Yelp (A total of two websites, despite the extreme exaggeration in the owner's response). Yelp defines 1/5 stars as "Eek! Methinks not". I find this a perfect representation of my experience. If you stole from me or burned down my house, there would be legal recourse, not a review. read more

Got my confirmation call as promised and the team showed up within that time which are all wins but the gentleman that rang my doorbell wasn't wearing a mask and no uniform or shirt indicating that they were with Atlanta's Best. If I had to make a guess, I think they picked up a homeless guy for some 'freelance' work. Had it not been for the truck out front I probably wouldn't have opened the door. Good price, upfront transparency and did exactly what they said they'd do (and a touch more). In my view, they set expectations appropriately and delivered to them. The company was very upfront about a few things: (1) They were pretty backlogged and it'd take some time to get out here - two weeks out and they were here at the time they said they'd be (2) We should expect a bit of a mess since we hadn't done this - they even emailed and called this out multiple times... the guys spent as much time cleaning around the house as they were on the roof (3) The exact cost - there was no change, renegotiation, etc... a quoted upfront price, verified on google maps and then an invoice matching the quote I was a bit worried because I had requested they take a look at a part of our gutter that was bowed out and I didn't hear anything from the crew. After taking a look, it looks like they just fixed it and kept going. Can't ask for more than that. I'll be using them again in the future and recommending them to neighbors. read more

I hide high hopes for this company because their communications are clear and detailed, the prices are very good, and they offer "contract" options for people who need their gutters cleaned multiple times a year. I did not actually go on the roof to check their work, but I'm confident in the cleaning they did. However, I did downgrade them because they simply weren't able to provide the cleanings that I expected with a two-times-a-year plan. I expected the 2nd cleaning to be 6 months after the first. I scheduled the first cleaning at the end of May because I wanted to get on a May/November schedule. Weather is a big factor in this industry, and maybe they've taken on too many customers, but they were not able to schedule me until nearly the middle of January, which is over 6 weeks later than I expected and needed. They initially scheduled me for the beginning of January and then called me that afternoon to say they couldn't make it because other jobs took longer than expected. So, overall I don't have any issues with the work, but my gutters were clogged and overflowing and I had to clean them (the ones I could reach). I'm going to try to find a company that is able to stick with a six-month cleaning schedule, and if I can't find one, I may come back to Atlanta's Best Gutter Cleaners. read more

I've used Atlanta's Best Gutter Cleaners service for the last 8 years. Every time, the crews have done a great job to clean the roof and I don't need to look for other suppliers. I don't need to worry about cleaning up the yards - every time, they take care of the leaves and debris from the gutter. Last year, I contacted them to get an advice for downspout, the owner came back right away with cost efficient and creative way to fix the problems, different from other suppliers which were only looking for ways to increase billings. Last year I hired these people and next day it rained and the gutter was overflowing as if it wasn't cleaned. They came back and cleaned it. Bc they where accountable , I decided to use them again. They came " cleaned " gutters all of 15 minutes. It rained on Monday and the picture below is what I found. It was a week later and you can see how compacted it is. Owner claims that this all happened in a week. We called him and all they gave was excuses. My suggestion is to not use them. We only wanted them to take ownership that the job wasn't performed well. This company was hired to pressure wash the homes in our townhome community. They spent about a total of 1 - 2 minutes pressure washing the back of my home. They move things around and don't put them back. They spray water with too much pressure and the water damages wood and paint. They spray directly into door frames and gaps causing large amounts of water to spray inside homes which causes damage and creates a mess that homeowners must clean up themselves. Whoever hired these guys for our community did not do their homework. I would never, ever hire this company for anything. Buyer beware. read more

Hate to give this review because I liked this company. A few months ago they cleaned my gutters and it was a seamless process. At that time, they quoted me for gutters installation which was very reasonable. However, I ended up supporting a friend to do the job. Well, the job wasn't to my standard. So, I contacted ABGC to get a quote on repairing the job in addition to a quote to pressure wash the driveway and clean the roof at my investment property. I had several back and forth email communications with Brad. We scheduled a date for them to quote work at my investment property but it ended up as a no call, no show. That same day, communication stopped from Brad regarding the gutter repairs. No clue what happened. No explanation provided. In response to the Owner's comment: As I advised, I never received scheduling emails nor did I ever receive an estimate on my investment property which they supposedly went out on 07/24/18. My follow up email on 07/25/18 was regarding the estimate on my investment property NOT my primary home that they had scheduled for 08/08/18. Therefore, I was ok with canceling any additional appointments or services from ABGC. This company like to go back and forth instead of fixing the issue. They wanted me to call them but they never called me either. As I told them, I should not have to keep following up with a company that I plan to give my money to. WOW. Just read the OWNER'S reply to my review (see below). The guy wrote a bible length manifesto about how, in so many words, I was in the wrong? THIS is a great example of why not to do business with someone. Look, how hard is it to just own up to it and apologize when you screw up? He went on in his ranting and raving to say, and I quote, "The customer know that he was approving gutter cleaning and we would be giving the quote to be done at another time at no extra cost or inconvenience to him." Well, if you read my complaint you will see that I did NOT know this as I was told by someone in YOUR office that I could just tell them that I wanted guards installed and that they would do it while there. I think you really need to just learn to accept criticism and move forward. If you screw up, admit it, apologize, and move on. The way you conduct your replies on Yelp is a great example of the kind of person you are and that is someone that I would NEVER trust to have my best interest in mind. What they do, they do well. It's what they don't do that they don't do at all. My previous gutter company was Atlanta's Best Gutters and they were fantastic. Always responsive always out in a timely way. And then they sold to Ned Stevens. Boo hiss, these guys come out to clean a gutter and they can't clean three flat windows to our sunroom and kitchen without charging me $279. They spray it off, but they would not dare use a glass cleaner on it without charging me more. Atlanta's Best used this charge me $10 more for doing it. They diagnose a problem with some guttering on the back part of my house, which was starting to detached because of damp facia board And they can take the gutter off and replace the facia but they can't replace the soffit which is also going out. I have to get someone else to do that unlike our previous company, they can't power wash the sides of our house since it's stucco. Feels like they're too busy trying to be a large national company, but their brand to me is awful. it took them nearly 6 to 7 weeks to get out here to clean my gutters recently. We've been pleased with our iRobot vacuum cleaner in our home for years, so I figured I'd try the iRobot Looj which is their new robot for cleaning out gutters. I don't know if it was the length of time since the gutters had been cleaned, or something about the Looj itself, but my experiment with that device made we understand why they called it a Looj. It spits things out of your gutter in a particularly disgusting manner. Main thing is it wasn't effective though, but like I said, it was probably because we hadn't cleaned the gutters in way to long. In any case, this isn't a product review. I did a quick check for gutter cleaners and found these guys. They definitely have the most professional presentation/marketing system around. I didn't have much of a problem with scheduling, as you don't have to be home when they come, but you can't pick the time. You place the order, then they email you when they'll be out. In my case, it was the next day. You just need to make sure that your cars and lawn equipment, etc. (anything you don't want dirty) cleared out. They did a good, not great job, the first time, but missed a little 2 foot section, underneath an eave near our entrance, so I called them back out. They came back out quickly (next day, I believe) and provided before and after photos digitally via email. They aren't the cheapest by a long shot (I think it was $150) but I felt professionally treated, and that they stood behind their work. I'll use them again. read more

I recently moved to the burbs of Atlanta and found this company via nextdoor. Hired them about 1 year ago and they came out and cleaned my gutters at a reasonable rate. So why the 1 star rating? For the long story, keep reading. For the short version, they do not show up as scheduled! One time miss is fine, but 2 to 3 times? Ridiculous. I decided to hire them again back in January 2021. They contacted me with a 1st available appt in March. That's fine because it is peak season and factor in COVID, I was ok. Come March, I received a confirmation email and telephone call about my upcoming appointment, they gave me the window of time the folks would be here to clean AND that I did not have to be home. All good so far. The day of the appt, no one showed during the window. I then get a call later that night they got backed up/delayed and someone from the office would call me to reschedule. No call. I get a standard email from the company with a new date and time for the following week. Fine. Some history, the exact same thing happened the year prior when I first hired them. A couple days before my new appointment, I get the standard phone call and email to confirm the date and time window. The new date arrives, and no one shows. This time, I don't even get a phone call. I send an email to the company and get no response. I call the company and leave a message and get no response. What do I get? Another form email with a new date and time for the following week. No apology, no explanation, nothing. I reply back to the email asking them to cancel as I've decided to go with another company. Two days prior to the newly newly revised date, I get another email and phone call confirming my appointment. I reply back asking to cancel and I inform the person on the phone I'd like to cancel. I get we are in unusual times, but I see a patter here. There were a lot of positive reviews on Nextdoor, but not sure if it's accurate or updated. I understand gutter cleaning for ATL homes can be quite challenging and there is high demand but I do believe there is a certain level of service/professionalism that needs to be met, like showing up as scheduled. read more

These guys are fast and responsive, but they always never fully clean up and I end up having to waste at least an hour of my time cleaning up after then, especially on windows. The main problem is they are coming in as fast as possible to clean up to leave to the next appointment. Because they are in a rush they don't spend enough time cleaning the mess they made. I told them last time when they blow off my gutters it spays onto my windows and trim and it's usually wet gunk that marks up the windows. After a few minutes it drys up and doesn't come off with just spraying so I have had to spend at least an hour to clean it myself. I told them about this last time and they said they would do a better job, but they didn't and I still have debris not fully cleaned up and the windows messed up. read more

Worst company ever! Do not use! I hired them back in November to clean my gutters. They did an ok job. I mailed my payment to the owners house which come to find he never received. Instead of a simple phone call he has one of his workers show up at my house on a Sunday demanding payment. I told him I already sent it in. He notified me that was the wrong address and have me the new one. After a $30 cancel check payment to my bank I mailed a new check. On the following Monday I was served by certified mail that if my payment was not received that they would put a lien on my home...what?? They also mailed on Monday another letter demanding payment with the threat of a lien. They have called my husband about 8 times now leaving threatening messages. Two problems I have. One, you gave me the wrong address and Two, you are showing up at my residence harrassing me and threatening to put a lien on my house. It hasn't even been 90 days like most companies.
