I've actually come to really like this place. I am self admittedly a die hard Laurenly fan, however, nectar has some good, cheap basics. I'm not a fan of the general style of their stuff, but that's just my opinion, nothing at the fault of the store itself. The price point is really great, probably nothing over $40. When they first opened, the service was horrible. I mean so bad that my friends and I just stopped going because the girls were so rude. Which didn't exactly match with the Christian music they always had playing. The service definitely improved since then and everyone is much nicer and more helpful. read more

Came in on a Friday night around 7:30pm. Pros: cute clothes, decent prices. Cons: staff began dry vacuuming the store WHILE 8+ customers were still inside. Almost tripped over the cord. Staff threw the cash register Mat out into the walkway, along with the hanger holders (so that it could be vacuumed). Word to the wise, from one former retail worker to another. DON'T use your industrial vacuum 20 min before you close. Not a good look to have potential customers tripping over your cord, cashier mat etc. .... maybe... just maybe...vacuum before you open the next morning. Definitely just lost a customer. I started coming to this store about a year ago, and I thought I had found a hidden gem! Everything was very cute and adorable for the most part. However, for the last 2-3 months that I have gone, I have been disappointed. The selection isn't as great as it once was, and everything is kinda jumbled together. I follow Nectar on Instagram, and it seems that the best stuff goes to there other locations. All in all, I have lost a lot of faith in this particular store, but I still like the brand and really want to check out their other locations. read more

Their clothes are cute and inexpensive but the service can be unfriendly at times. Today, for instance, one of the employees looked me up and down as if to judge my outfit. I also think it's poor form to ask customers not to bring purses into the dressing room (or was it just us?). I understand people steal but suggesting someone may steal by asking them to leave their purse outside is offensive...it would be better to invest in surveillance or even have an attendant that counts and tracks pieces. Even though we can afford much more expensive clothes we like the typical boutique atmosphere but if this place continues to be unwelcoming and judgmental we wont be back. read more

Nectar is probably one of the most uninviting places I have been to. I came in with my friends but to kill time and look around. There were 7 of us and I will admit we were a little loud, but the service given to us was terrible. We believe that one of the employees left this loud vacuum running in our area just to get rid of us. We had to stand there and listen to that vacuum for around 30 minutes. Finally we got very annoyed and decided to leave. After we walked out, they locked the door so we couldn't get back in. I really want to like this place but every time I leave I come out disappointed in two ways. The first being that the clothes are cute, but scream basic Southern California girl. There's nothing really special about the clothes or jewelry. The shop is in such a prime location and has such great windows I would think the owners would be better prepared. Maybe they need someone creative setting up window displays and doing their ordering. The second reason annoys me down to my core. Most of the girls that work at this store aren't polite, warm or friendly. They glance at shoppers that walk in, look them up and down and give a very weak "hi." The last time I came in to shop my friend wanted to try something on and she was ignored by the sales associate until my friend spoke up. Tiffany (according to my sales receipt that's her name) an employee there is so apathetic about her job. Every time we come in she's working and she doesn't disappoint in giving us dirty looks and attitude! If you want some basic drop earrings and a floral flowy top stop by nectar and you'll also get a snobby stare and rather rude attitude to go with it...most likely from this Tiffany girl. Fashion does not equal pretentiousness! Owners need to step in before word spreads quickly throughout OC that the place to shop is not at Nectar...but across the street at other boutiques. read more

I love this store on it's own, the clothes are super cute and great quality and the price is completely affordable! The staff however has no concept of customer service. There are a few girls that work there that are helpful and do their job but who I believe to be the manager is often times very rude and unhelpful and will ignore you and essentially refuse to assist the customers in both my experience and friends of mine. It appears that she may need some training in what to do and what not to do when it comes to customer service in retail and in general. I would come in here more if this person didn't leave me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable every time I ask a question or would like assistance with something. read more

I bought a coat online that was too big and had it exchanged for a smaller size. When the new jacket never turned up I called the company to let them know and they were awesome about the situation. The mail man said he dropped the package off at my doorstep but I never relieved it. They had me file a claim that the post office denied and they went above and beyond to fix my problem and get me the jacket. Great customer service, cute clothing, and reasonable prices. read more

Nectar is the answer to those who are tired of H&M and Forever 21.. Cute trendy clothes, shoes and accessories with much better quality. The style they have going on here is easy-going California girl, I would say, haha; perhaps a crossover between beach girl and country girl and city girl. I went here recently to find a dress that I saw on their Instagram which was unfortunately sold out by the time I got there... a little sad but luckily they had a crazy clearance on spring time dresses. I scored two dresses for $15 each. Nectar is pretty good about spreading the word about their offerings and sales via Instagram and email newsletters... so I usually order online and do a free pick up here or in their flagship store in Redlands. Overall, Nectar is now a favorite store of mine when it comes to clothes and shoes! read more

Love this store love the clothes super cute well priced, I seriously recommend it to everyone! Easy to shop with the clothing color coordinated. But the employees are not the nicest and not as helpful as they should be. I was in there shopping last week at 7pm they close at 8pm and it was my only time to shop for a holiday party while my husband watched the kids. The girl who was working seemed very disappointed I was trying on as many outfits as I did and kept asking what she could take from my room but I hadn't decided what I wanted yet. She also pulled out a very large vacuum at 7:30pm (half an hour to go until they closed) luckily some other people came into the store asking for help so it wasn't just me or else I was getting the feeling she wanted me to leave. If your hours say 8pm don't start closing up duties until after the door is locked. Sorry I worked in retail for many years and banging around in the back room and bringing out a vacuum doesn't make people feel welcome and want to spend their $$$. read more

I absolutely love Nectar! The clothes are decently priced and the selection is great!! I know when I walk in I can almost 90% of the time find something to wear for any occasion. The girls are always friendly with me and my son (who is 1 1/2 yrs old) and you know that can be difficult shopping with a child under 2! This is a very cute boutique. I'm in my early 40's and have found several tops and sweaters that work for me, but I will say it is primarily a boutique for a younger lady. (or the young at heart like me). They also carry a nice selection of inexpensive costume jewelry. the clothing prices are very inexpensive. Average $25 for a top. $4 for a bandeau, $7 bracelets. They have shoes too (have never checked prices). Employees: Always friendly, always greet me, I've even had nice conversations with one employee imparticular. If you're anything below 5'7" and at least 140 pounds, don't bother. Even a size small fits like an XL and it's ridiculously overpriced for what you are getting. This "boutique" is more of a plus size store, so if those sizes appeal to you then you might be interested. Even a small romper like it was a large bed sheet. The overalls would fit tweedle dee and tweedle dum maybe, but not an AVERAGE sized female. The girls who work here are incredibly rude and give you shitty looks if you walk out of the fitting room without anything to purchase. I walked in with about 5 items and came out with none because I don't wear clothes meant for large men. The fitting rooms are tiny and I don't understand how they expect their huge clients to fit into the tiny shoebox-sized closets. If you're looking for cheaply made jewelry from Claire's and giant clothes, this is the place for you. When I used a DEBIT card, the lady asked for my ID and when I had it in my car, she forced me to show her my Instagram to "prove" that the card belonged to me. Judging looks, shitty attitudes, and gossip among each other is what you will get here. The lady laughed at me when I picked up a size small tank top and said I should try a medium, when really the small was so big that I could fit 3 friends in it with me. The music is extremely loud and the store is oddly cold. I heard the rude employees talking about how I had tried on so much clothes. Horrible store. read more
