Anyway called Day & Night and got Carlos who was clearly in the middle of other things... who dropped what he was doing came right away in like 10 minutes and resolved the issue which turned out to be a clogged A/C unit. This was a 2 day project using the 1st day to remove the old system and seal ducts and day 2 to install and test the new system. They arrived on time with all the necessary parts and equipment to handle any potential problems. During the duct sealing process, it was determined that the existing duct structure had the equivalent of a 25.8 square hole. After sealing, this was reduced to the equivalent of a 2.3 square inch hole. IMPRESSIVE ! The new system was installed per plan and has been running well for over a month which includes one or two 90 degree days. It is so quiet that one can hardly hear it. The 3 man team were very personable, neat, efficient and explained things clearly as work progressed. If you need a CAC system, call Besson 1st before anyone else

Last year my wife and I went to the Orange county home show. After the hurricanes we decided to look for a standby generator. We saw several on display by different vendors, but got only vague information from them. We went to the Nebrasky booth and were greeted by Paul Nebrasky giving us a great canvas shopping bag and inviting us into his booth. He had a Honeywell whole house generator there and gave us a lot of information. He was offering a home show discount on the generators. We filled out a contact form and he said his office would contact us on Monday. On Monday morning we got a phone call from the office and made an appointment. Paul came out that week, took measurements, showed us where the generator would go and gave us a quote. We had already decided that if the price was right we would go with Nebrasky and it was, so we signed the contract and gave a deposit. They took care of everything, from town permits to contacting my utility company and fuel company to the electrician and all inspections. Two weeks later we had piece of mind. We will never lose power for weeks again! We even got an email before the first big snow about keeping the vents clear of snow and if we needed help Nebrasky would send a service technician out to help us. Last week we woke up with no heat in the house. We feared that our oil boiler, which is over 20 years old had finally gone. We called Nebrasky and their oil technician Keith came right out. He diagnosed the pronlem, gave us a price up front. He replaced some parts and was able to get us up and running again. We joined the home care club and he thoroughly serviced and cleaned the boiler and it is running better than ever. He also gave us a coupon for future service, a survey card to rate the service (and enter to win a $100 gift card) and a coupon for two to the orange county home show. We plan to go this weekend and our first stop will be the Nebrasky booth where we will speak to Paul or one of his representatives about getting a low cost or no cost home energy audit and see how we can save money on our home energy bills. read more

Highly highly recommend Nebrasky Plumbing Heating & Cooling! I found out about them through NYSERDA's free home energy assessment service. My heating system was horribly inefficient and I was bleeding oil bills. Robert VanHarlingen did the assessment. What a true professional. He came back multiple times to conduct tests, explain my heating system, and provide multiple options for solutions. The guy is like an HVAC ninja genius! After several months of back and forth on the best solution for my home, we wound up deciding on a complete HVAC renovation gut job. Between spray foam insulation, air sealing, electric hot water conversion, and a complete conversion from oil heat to electric heat pump and air-handlers to include replacement of 100% of the duct work in the house, we did everything! I could not be happier with the work. Between Robert, the HVAC ninja guru, and Harry, who was the primary foreman on the job, and the entire crew from Nebrasky- they did an absolutely outstanding job! I literally geek out and show everyone that comes to my house the job they did (no one really cares as much as me but I show them anyway!). My home went from horribly inefficient (I have an older stone home that sits on a slab with crappy insulation and many challenges) to new space age hardcore efficiency. The Mitsubishi heat pumps they installed are absolutely incredible! Combined with solar panels, I will make all the money back from the install by year 9, and my annual utility bills will go from $7,800 (oil and electric) to $250 annually! This would not have been possible without Nebrasky, and specifically Robert who I considered charging rent to since he was at my house so much. Robert was so invested into solving my home's efficiency problems, you would have thought it was his own home. They are true professionals and know what they are doing! Was having water pressure issues and called Nebrasky. Greg was the plumber dispatched to my home who was very professional. It was obvious that they truly wanted to help and weren't looking to just bill me. The. Morning they were scheduled to come out , I received a call asking to go over the symptoms I was having as Greg was at another residence in my town who was also having issues and it turned out the Town was doing work. They were trying to save me from having to pay the diagnostic fee. Unfortunately that was not my issue as I live across town from where the issue was .Anyway Greg came to the house diagnosed the issue as being a PRV valve , explained that he would try to clean the screen to see if it helps but that if it didn't the PRV would need to be replaced .. He fully explained the different options and costs associated with each and once given the ok quickly went to work and resolved the issue. The first contact with Nebrasky was to review the process for a new install of a whole house air conditioning system. The technician was very knowledgeable and took time to explain what was needed and was able to answer all our questions. This visit was followed up with a detailed list and cost of 2 options. We needed an electrical upgrade and Nebrasky suggested an electrician who we used and who did a great job. The install which was done under very brutal temperatures went very well. The installers explained what they were doing during each part of the install and explained a lot about the functioning of the system. The following day we had a problem with the system. Some might see this as a negative but Nebrasky came out immediately to resolve the problem. This gave useven more confidence in my selection of Nebrasky because we know that Nebrasky will be there when we need them. read more

Nebrasky has always given excellent service whenever I have needed a plumber. The past two appointments, Dom has been the gentleman on the job (I do mean gentleman!) He is obviously a top professional in his field; installed the new kitchen faucet and sprayer perfectly. It did not bother him that it took me time to get my yappy poodle to stop barking (he said he loves dogs), Dom just started working despite the initial noisy environment. After he finished, he took the time to explain how and what I should do to find an adapter for my water filter when the one that I had didn't work with the new faucet. I had another issue with a connection to my washing machine corrosively "frozen", and he corrected the problem and gave me advise that saved me money, which I truly appreciated! I had never used Nebrasky before, but had seen their work vans from time to time, so decided to get an estimate for removal/replacement of old septic piping in the basement. On the day of the estimate, Dominic and an assistant showed up on time and were courteous and professional from the get-go. Communication was always excellent- they sent reminder emails/texts for appointments, when they are on the road, etc. On the day of the job, a crew of four, including Dominic, Greg and a couple of assistants, showed up promptly. They worked efficiently throughout the day, and did a spectacular job. I'm really thrilled with how nice and neat the job was executed, and they left the place clean of debris. The office staff are polite, friendly and accommodating to my scheduling needs. This attitude is mirrored by the technicians that come to my house, beginning with the blue booties they cover their shoes with prior to entering my home. They listen attentively to whatever my issue is, and then attend to the matter with expert care. My most recent visit was for air conditioning service. During this extremely cold winter, my husband and I noticed our furnace was operating inconsistently. After the first phone call to Nebrasky I could tell that they genuinely care about their customers, even brand new ones! The woman I spoke to made a few suggestions over the phone and scheduled an appointment to inspect our heating system. Called Nebrasky because I had heard their radio ad about their price promise guarantee, I needed help with several plumbing issues in my upstairs bath. The technician came out after hours to accommodate my work schedule and he was upfront about the cost of the repairs needed to both my shower and my sink. He wrote down his recommendations and the cost for each item, I was surprised he didn't push for the repairs as I have experienced from previous companies whether it was plumbing or electrical. When you call for heating problems you usually have anxiety that this could be the dreaded repair visit that breaks the bank . Not with Nebrasky ! They provide great work at a fair price . I've been using Nebrasky for a number of years already and that's because they provide excellent service whether it's for cooling, heating and plumbing issues I might have. When you place your call in, the call taker works with you to get that service tech in asap if you have an emergency or accommodate around your scheduling needs . Called them because my usual plumber was unavailable. I had water dripping from under kitchen sink. It turns out that I needed a new faucet set. I went to the local hardware store picked out and paid for my new faucet. They installed it and CHARGED $450. -- FOR THE INSTALL! We called WK to eval an AC unit which was not working. I was advised to turn the unit off in case…read morethe coils were frozen so the tech could work with the coil if necessary. I followed their advice. When the tech got to my house about an hour later, the ice had melted and dripped onto the furnace. The tech said my FURNACE was ruined and I needed a new 8k one! He took pix of the water and said "the whole thing is rusted" ( How does something rust in an hour??) Now our furnace was only a year old- under warranty- and we needed to get a second opinion. We called another company who fixed the problem for $100 and a new thermostat for $30. The second company said although there was a little water it did not cause the problem. Water had nothing to do with the problem. Problem was that my thermostat was not communicating well with the system. We also needed a new "board." This was under warranty. The entire system is working perfectly. WK is charging us $180 for the service call! We have received emails asking when we will go forward with the replacement!!!! We called WK today and spoke with the service manager who stood by WK's very incorrect evaluation. We feel that our reasonable complaint fell on deaf ears. WK was full of excuses. Watch out!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! We will pay their bill but with protest.

Despite my clear request for a repair or relocation (with photos and context provided in advance), they assumed I'd agree to a full replacement just because other companies had turned the job down. There was no real inspection, no testing, and spending less than 30 seconds just visually inspecting it. They were CAUGHT ON CAMERA discussing my predicament and stated because other companies said no, they were willing to bet i would go for a new system. I made it clear this was urgent--I have a newborn at home and need working AC for health and safety reasons. They ignored that completely and treated it like a sales opportunity. I've since confirmed with other HVAC pros and the manufacturer that the unit could have been repaired. WK Mechanical didn't come to help--they came to profit. Unethical, unprofessional, and caught on video. Avoid this company at all costs.

Had these guys come to service our HVAC system that had stopped working. Technician came took a…read morelook for a few minutes, and figured that the problem was the control board and charged us $400 plus the service call and then left. After a few weeks of waiting for the part we called to find out an update and were told that the part should be in soon but we should just replace the entire system for some insanely amount of money! I said we'd consider it if we can't get it fixed. When the part finally came in a different tech who wasn't familiar with the system returned to install it. Then we found that we still had the same problem and that things still weren't working properly. The tech couldn't figure out the problem and that he'd need to go back to the shop to look at a schematic so he charged us for the service call and installation and left never to be heard from again. When we called to follow-up we were told to replace the system or don't call them back becuase they don't want to service the system because it's too old. Yet another company who just wants to 'sell' new systems to people who have older units. Again, this wouldn't be a problem if the system was completely shot and non functioning. But these guys just didn't want to take the time to figure out the problem and fix it. Techs were nice enough but what's with these attitudes in the office? Needless to say, I was able to find someone else from a smaller local service that pinpointed the problem which turned out to be a pulled wire from a plug which mysteriously happened during the previous part installation and a bad relay. He ordered the parts and came back to install them within a week. less than $50! It was unbelievable that these guys wanted to charge me to replace my unit. It's still working a year later with no problems! Go figure! Customer beware! The name says it all!

I had a mini split system installed in 2021 by CR Wolfe and after the first year, it required an…read moreaddition of refrigerant due to an apparent leak. The tech was unable to find the leak, but charged the system and got it working well again. This happened again this summer and again it was restored briefly to working order. When it happened a third time, the service department sent out an amazing tech named Thomas who was determined to solve the problem once and for all. Thomas worked diligently much of the day, found the original problem, but continued to test to prove that it was the only problem! I had paid for the previous calls, but when Thomas found the problem it was clear that it was an installation error and reported this back to his supervisor. Now comes the part that separates this company from so many others; when I sent a letter requesting they consider refunding my previous service charges, the management agreed and promptly send a check for those charges. This fair, customer first attitude is so rare in these times and has made me a great fan of CR Wolfe (and their amazing tech Thomas!) WELL DONE! Bon

While looking into Valenza we found their reference to their Instagram posting. That information displayed detailed photos of their completed jobs. It was apparent that a considerable amount of work went into making this information available, indicating they were a step above their competitors. When I contacted them I spoke to Eric, and he took the time to let me describe what I thought I needed. I did not know the specifics, since I was remote. Dominick came to my brother's house, evaluated the situation, and provided an estimate to resolve the problem. They had an opening in their schedule and quickly and skillfully repaired the shower fixtures the next day. Sounds easy, but it is an old house with its own issues. Done!! I couldn't ask for more.
