Total cost was $12,200 and I gave him $7,500 deposit via a check dated 8/21/24 for him to purchase the equipment. He was to install the equipment initially on 10/7/24 through 10/9/24 at my residence. The owner of the business, Tamas Baka (cell phone Number: (570-832-3745) never showed up at the appointed time. After calling him on his cell phone and calling the office phone number for 3 days, he finally called me and said he was very sick, was in the hospital and he was slowly getting back to work. Based on his explanation, we rescheduled the equipment installation for 11/11/24 through 11/13/24. I've been calling him and texting him for 3 days and prior to the rescheduled 11/11/24 equipment installation. He again failed to show up to complete the work he was paid for and he has not called back or texted me at all. I believe that this is a consumer fraud/scam and is a breach of contract by failure to perform the work he was paid for via my $7,500 deposit. My check dated August 21,2024 was cashed on August 26,2024. Please help as I would like my $7,500 payment. I would like my $7,500 payment returned. I believe this was a scam and a fraud. Besson was contracted in early May to replace our aging central air system, We chose them over two…read moreother contractors because they also offered an inside duct sealing service that maximizes system efficiency. This was a 2 day project using the 1st day to remove the old system and seal ducts and day 2 to install and test the new system. They arrived on time with all the necessary parts and equipment to handle any potential problems. During the duct sealing process, it was determined that the existing duct structure had the equivalent of a 25.8 square hole. After sealing, this was reduced to the equivalent of a 2.3 square inch hole. IMPRESSIVE ! The new system was installed per plan and has been running well for over a month which includes one or two 90 degree days. It is so quiet that one can hardly hear it. The 3 man team were very personable, neat, efficient and explained things clearly as work progressed. If you need a CAC system, call Besson 1st before anyone else
