We came from Manti, UT for a viewing. They were out of everything we wanted at the drive thru that we were at in Manti so we decided to drive to Nephi which was about 50 minutes away. We Googled the closest drive thru ands came across Nebo Queen. It was dark by the time we got there and we saw a menu board on the side of the building. This sign was black with no backlighting in the menu items and had the prices on a white background. We could only see the prices. We thought that was odd so we drove to the end of the building and found the same menu board that was lit up. That was really weird. My brother-in-law ordered a grill cheese with tater tots, my wife ordered chicken nuggets with ranch, and I ordered a mushroom burger with tater tots. My brother-in-law was starving so in think he just inhaled his food without tasting it. He said he liked it. Btw, how hard is it to screw up a grill cheese sandwich? My burger was over $9. It was as small as a hamburger from McDonald's. It had Swiss cheese, barely any mushrooms, and 3 pickles on it. McDonald's hamburger tastes like a gourmet burger compared to this. It was greasy, the pickles did not have any business being in the burger, and it was OVERPRICED!!! The tater tots were greasy and the tater tots that I had at the Intermountain Care Hospital cafeteria in Midvale, was 1000% better! My wife's chicken nuggets were also greasy but also tasted like grease. It had the texture of fried fish. My brain was confused. We paid $30.10 for the bill and got the feeling like we just ate all the grease at Long John Silver. At least when you eat at L.J.S. the flavor is good. Skip this place and go to Mc Donald's. You'll pay less and won't feel like you're going to break out in zits afterwards. read more

Was down in Nephi for a volleyball tournament (all-day) and when there was a break I ventured out to see what I miss every time I drive North or South on I-15. I passed Nebo Queen a couple of times and thought - "I'm really craving a Hot Dog!" - so I pulled in (didn't do drive-thru, I went in) "Small Town Greasy Spoon" sure, but I expected (wanted) nothing less. I ordered the Foot-Long Deluxe dog (all the fixings) and got it to go. A little over 5 minutes and I had my dog in my hand, and I just opened the bag and started to eat it by my car. The staff was super friendly and kind - even though it was kinda busy. Paid a little over $6 but overall, a solid hot dog with good toppings (grilled onion, cheese, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, relish)! At first, I wished it was a little more...but when I finished, I was satisfied. Sure I could've gone to the "big national chain" spots, but I like to support local businesses- yes, even the small-town greasy spoons! Would I go back? Sure would! Normally I would've got the combo (fries / onion rings / fried cheese curds) but like I said, I just wanted a hot dog! We were in on a Tuesday evening. I needed an ice cream fix, and I needed it bad--ya dig? My colleague just wanted a simple small soft serve. If he got small, I figure the large would come out in one of those Home Depot buckets. It was a beautiful spiral of vanilla--which, ya know, boring vanilla. All these crazy flavors, and he wanted vanilla. But what I'm trying to say--that small was big. And big? Must be gigantico. Insane. The boss ordered a scoop of hard serve (aka regular non-alcoholic ice cream). They had a wide variety of flavors (a list would maybe help, but I'm not quibbling; I've got eyes; I can see the hard ice creams in the case). I didn't count, but I'd estimate at least 20 flavors more or less (but probably more). I ordered a banana cream pie shake. It was a tough choice. I had asked the barkeep, "What's the best?" She seemed a bit surprised. After all, it's not a bar. Why refer to her as a bar keep? Wouldn't she be an ice keeper? A shake maker? A sundae slinger? She said the most popular flavors were cinnamon toast crunch, German chocolate cake, grasshopper, and some others that I forget. It was a tough choice. And though grasshoppers are indeed high in fiber, low in cholesterol, and high in protein (really a super food if there is one), the grasshopper shake was apparently made with mint and Oreos. Which, ya know, sounds way more appetizing than grasshoppers--which would be pretty gross (but supremely nutritious). The banana cream pie shake was thick and creamy, and had a healthy density of dime-sized banana chunks mixed in with pie crust pieces. On top, a nice blast of whipped cream. The ice cream base was solid (not literally). For all that, it was less than $10. The service was quick, and the people who helped us were quick and friendly. read more

Very cool vibe at the Nebo Queen. We are not from a small town but appreciate a good small town burger joint. We drove by the Nebo Queen and felt drawn in. The staff was very friendly and willing to make recommendations. The place could have been cleaner but they were very busy. Granny Burger - 4 stars - it came recommended by the staff. Burger with ham and Swiss. It was great at the time. In a larger city, it might have only received 3 stars. Fries - 5 stars - some of the best we have had in a while Overall, we were glad we stopped by. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way for another shot at the menu. Stopped for a late night snack, and it was just perfect. I like that they have summer hours, so they're open a little late for a shake when it's warm. We also ordered a special, it was a taco basket, and so yummy. The shells and tacos were made up fresh, and it was cheap, and it hit the spot. Super crunchy shells! They did not skimp on the toppings. A lot of good flavors of specialty drinks and shakes, too. Went to get dinner tonight and we were like heck ya it's super slow we can be in and out and go enjoy dinner in the park! Ha definitely was not the case!! There was one car in front of us, the gal came out to take our order. We ordered two small shakes, a blt and a grilled cheese. As we approached the window they gave us the shakes. Then radio silence after that. The line behind us was building. Cars that showed up after us were getting there food before we did. We sat at the drive thru window waiting 35 minutes before we ever got our food! Not once did they apologize for taking so long or do anything to make it right. There were 5 ppl working and not one of them cared to check in to let us know why it was taking so long. I've lived here for two years, my husband his whole life and we have never been so disappointed! The food was terrible. My grilled cheese had hardly any cheese, the fries were gross and tasted of old oil. our shakes were completely melted by the time our food was done. The biggest waste of money! Listen to my words carefully: fried cheese curds. Less cheese curd and more like fried mozzarella stick, but still, get them. Love them. Eat them while they're hot. Regret it not. Dip them. Dunk them. Eat them while they're hot. Onion rings? Yep, those too. Though they're more bready than crispy crunchy. Speaking of onion rings, I got one on my western burger. The burger was okay, definitely messy, but the flavors never rose to the description. The sauce needed to be smokier and not as sweet. I tried the pastrami burger, which was better. Not a massive ton of meat, but it was salty (in the good way) and satisfying. If someone would go in and give just a few tips on the burger--or maybe just use a little higher quality meat--they'd be winning this small town burger joint game. A nice seer. A good crust. Shakes? No regrets...I ate here 3 times last week while visiting my mom at Nephi hospital. Every single time I ordered their #3 cheeseburger combo, quarter pounder burger with fries and a small soda. The cheeseburgers are delicious, although served with shredded lettuce, which I am not a fan of, as long as the burger doesn't have to sit for too long that is not an issue. Placed my order pretty quick. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and held a couple condiments. I also ordered fries and a drink. The cashier quickly made my drink so I could sip on it while I waited. I waited quite awhile and finally received my items. I drove across the street to eat in the shade at the park. I noticed the fries were lukewarm at best, borderline cold. My cheeseburger didn't have any bacon either. This is the second place in town during my visit where I tried to give business to local mom/pop type places that left me disappointed. I guess the place used to be called Reeds? Cashier was very friendly, she looked like she was 16 (sorry), but she was so polite and efficient. Ordered: -pastrami burger (a TON of pastrami, meat patty with veggies) & it comes with fries (pink sauce) -onion rings (I'm used to super crunchy and crumbly but these were slightly crunch and smooth. Super good) -kids hot dog meal (did not know the hot dog would have ketchup and mustard on it). Comes with fries and a lollipop -order of chicken nuggets (pretty good) Entire order took about 10min. Place was basically empty. I was unable to try their ice cream, but they have a lot of flavors to choose from. Their menu has too much on it. Inside there is a smell of uncertain origin. It's not over powering, but not a smell that would be expected in a burger/ice cream joint. It's not clean inside, flies buzzing around, dirt on the floor. Ingredients (sprinkles, Oreos, etc) are just sitting on the counter uncovered. The staff are all doing multiple jobs, such as ringing people up and then making food without washing their hands or using gloves. No tongs in the Oreos, just bare hands go in, grab them, and crush them up right into the customers ice cream. I won't be going back and will not be recommending the place to others. read more

The last few times we've been (we call our orders in ahead of time in hopes that it will be ready when we arrive) we've waited at least 30 minutes, only for them to get the order wrong. We were missing a fry last time and the waitress literally made us empty out our bag of food to prove that there were no fries, then got an attitude and made us wait an extra 15 minutes. For fries.
