Manuel is honest, dedicated, and professional, and he did an excellent job from start to finish. His pricing is very reasonable, and he was consistently responsive throughout the process. When unexpected issues came up, he resolved them immediately and with great professionalism. Despite managing a much larger project at the same time, he treated my project with the same care and attention. He even helped me with a few extra tasks outside the original scope without me asking. His team of painters was exceptional as well. Manuel is highly skilled--not only in remodeling, but also as an electrician and plumber--and he provides complete remodeling services.

Carlos and his crew did an amazing job fixing everything, painting, replacing the carpet, replacing all the light fixtures, and outlets. His team took care of a lot of little extras that we hadn't discussed and were not in the contract; they just did everything to make it show well. It looked significantly better than when we bought it 20 years earlier even. The house sold in one day for the full asking price. I was extremely happy with the work and will use him again when I buy my new house for whatever work I need there.

They didn't have a ladder tall enough though to do the window caulking. The caulking was only $75 so I paid them in full for all the work done with the expectation that Carlos would come do the caulking whenever he had time. After a couple of months of unreturned phone calls for the caulking we found another contractor to come do the caulking (and put in a storm door, put in an outdoor water spigot, fix the deck, replace the bathroom fan vent outside, and a few other minor repairs - all of which we had asked Carlos for an estimate for and never heard back). Nice enough guys and the work they did do was solid, but they ripped me off for $75 and were unresponsive.

We've had regrettable experiences with contractors in the past, but James was by far the best we've had. He remodeled the entire first floor (including tearing down several load-bearing walls between the office and family room, the kitchen and dining room, and relocating the laundry room), the basement, and the kitchen, working his magic on our newly purchased, 50-year-old house that had never been well cared for. James communicated with us respectfully and genuinely, always being responsive to our requests. He was attentive to details and offered a variety of alternatives to ensure our satisfaction. We also appreciated his high standards of aesthetics and quality, all at a reasonable price. Overall, we are very happy with how our place turned out under James's expert hands and are eager to have him back for remodeling our bathrooms soon.
