They have continuous shows of all different types live performances, magician shows, musicals, bands, and local artists. We saw the high school group from Saline Michigan the fiddler's dancers and mandolin player. They were so entertaining and so talented that I would've loved the show to go on for another couple of hours. The seats for this performance were $22 and the tickets were held at will call for us which was easy enough for us to order over the phone and pick them up in person the day of the show. I will definitely be returning here for more of the entertainment and I recommend this Pix Theater to anyone who is in the area and wants a fairly inexpensive night of entertainment .

Upon arrival at the theater, I checked in at the front desk/concession area. I received my concessions that I pre-purchased. I was alone with my child as a single parent. I grabbed 2 of their trays for the seats to hold the popcorns and drinks and began juggling all of that alone. I proceeded to my theater and was met by a staff member that said they were still cleaning and we would need to wait in the hall. When I asked where I could place the trays and food I was juggling I was told "I don't know" I asked for a manager and I had 3 "managers" come up to me. I explained that I was juggling all of this as a single parent and they said " maybe don't come so early". I said that the staff member should advise the theater doesn't open until 30 mins before a show and she said " we can't catch everyone".... I was then told "enjoy my show there is nothing we can do for you." Nothing like a theatre that isn't "family friendly" and doesn't care about the customer

They do not have the…read morespec for a full recliner experience, however they did upgrade at least 1 row in their smaller theaters and 2 rows in each of their bigger theaters to have recliners. The recliners are comfy, cozy, and have a good view of the screen. The staff keeps the premises and auditoriums very clean, despite how busy it gets. This movie theater is prone to bouts of understaffing, which is when you get a messier premises, but they are on top of things regularly which I appreciate. My biggest problem is with how expensive this theater has gotten. Charging almost $10 for a drink, and then charging almost the same price for a popcorn, is a bit outrageous. It used to be that you could get a large combo for $9.25, and they did away with the medium size entirely. It also used to have a nice and spacious concession stand/ ticket counter, which is now cluttered/ crowded with stanchions and candy/ merchandise that nobody buys. I also do miss when seasonings were included at the butter stations. That may be the fault of the company as a whole, but it is sorely missed. Their new IMAX area is quite lovely. Definitely feels like a VIP experience walking in and through it.

Sadly all the ones I went to have gone out of business at least 30 years ago so this is the only one left. :( For many years when my adult children were in grade school plus high school I spoke about the fun I had watching movies at drive ins. When one of my sons called and suggested that we (he & girlfriend, other son & I) go to the Hi Way Drive Inn I said YES with no hesitation or reservations. The Drive Inn Rocks!! It's well maintained, clean, and the employees are very nice.The popcorn is excellent and much better tasting than at large chain movie theaters. There is a very nice selection of snacks at the concession stands, consider buying some snacks there to help the place to make a profit so it stays in business. I'm planning to go again and planning to take the wife, the only problem is she doesn't like the type of movies I enjoy so I'll let her choose the movie and I'll pretend to enjoy it. ;) The Drive Inn has a Facebook page too.

We say "The Incredibles 2" and "Avengers: Infinity War". I would like a larger screen, but this was not bad. I do like the audio coming thru your car radio. Obviously your audio quality will depend on your car audio system, but it worked just fine for us. The place is obviously very dated and has seen some better days, but there were a lot of families with kids and the crowd seemed to be very happy. Also the employees were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms, while adequate, could stand to be a bit tidier. I mention it because the nights show is typically 4+ hours (double features, remember)so it is not at all unreasonable to think you may need to use the restrooms at some point. These places make their money on the concessions. We got some popcorn and it was fine. We did take some sandwiches and stuff of our own though in a cooler. Wish they had a better selection. All in all, it was a very positive experience. I would go back more often if I lived closer. (From royal oak, its almost a 2 hour drive...I was visiting some friends in Port Huron though, so that's how I wound up there.) If you want a fun night with the kids, this is a bit of nostalgia that is well worth trying out.

The whole place smelt like stale urine and farts. The chairs were absolutely disgusting, and covered in stains, food, and god knows what else. I can't imagine the last time they were actually deep cleaned. There was barely any room to walk in the isles, with people's knees touching the backside of the chairs of those in front of them, so having to trample over everyone just to get up to use the restroom. Constantly getting our chairs kicked throughout the movie because there's no room for people to stretch their legs. The bathrooms were atrocious. Broken locks on the doors, sinks that don't work, and dirty toilets with feces and urine still occupying them. To also add to the experience, it is apparent that many people don't know movie theater etiquette, and how to respect other people that also paid to be there. The people In front of us talked throughout the entire 3 hour movie, along with other people in the theater that we could still hear over the deafening audio of the movie, and people constantly on their phones with full brightness. This place needs a serious renovation, or they need to shut down. It is a disgrace that they are taking people's money with the current condition it is in. I am not happy with this experience at all. I will never go to AMC again.

They all go out decorating the theater to match what movie they are playing. We watched Hotel Transylvania and they put up cobwebs and decorated in a Halloween theme even though it was July! The owner came out when everyone was seated and greeted all the guests and even gave out prizes to special marked tickets. At the end of the show he handed out paper masks to all the kids. I would love to go back and see another movie to see if they continue to add themes to the theater.
