I have a soft spot for drive-in theaters. This was the first time in years and I enjoyed it. I used to go all the time when I was a kid in Texas. The cool thing is you can enjoy the movie without someone kicking your seat or some stranger ruining the movie. I was able to kick my feet up and recline in my seat. You turn your radio to a particular station to hear the movie. Feel free to crank that shit up as loud as you like. It was only $8 for an adult ticket. It's nice being able to pick up food and eat it during the movie. There's a pizza joint and a restaurant called Venus with a drive thru nearby. Just make sure you get some concession items to keep the drive-in in business.

Fun Fun!

Lots of fun and the snack bar has many options... even glow sticks if you forget a flashlight. You can also rent lawn chairs - who knew?!

First drive in in 15 years....nice night for a drive in 55 degs

2 movies for the price of one. Brings back back memories of going with my mom and dad when I was a kid. Pulling up in the station wagon. Also playing on the playground equipment.

Great view from bed of truck.

You can't go wrong with a double feature drive in! For single movies, this may be a bit pricey, but…read moreit's worth it for double features. Bring some lawn chairs to be more comfortable. No alcohol allowed! But snacks and NA drinks are ok. They have a concession stand or you can order pizza from inside the arena. Port a potties are available unless you want to walk in the arena. While the front rows are reserved for cars and the further rows for SUVs and trucks, it can still be difficult to see if you have a big vehicle in front of you. Occasionally, someone will also leave their headlights on. I found that prices have risen since I last visited, but it's still a great deal for a fun night!

They allow you to bring your own snacks and (non-alcoholic) beverages and the spaces are large enough to accommodate camp chairs if you prefer not to sit in your car. We ended up throwing a bunch of throw pillows in the trunk and had a great experience. There is a concession stand and the restaurant in the hockey facility allows you to order food, which we did. The food wasn't impressive and was fairly overpriced for what it was, but they had many options, just not very much for dietary restrictions, so definitely recommend bringing some snacks/eating beforehand. From the perspective of urban planning, this is such an ingenious use of a parking lot that otherwise doesn't get as much use in the summer months. We love land uses that create space for people to gather and enjoy entertainment without having to change the overall location!

They run a tight, organized operation, even during their busiest nights. Traffic flow is handled well, the property is kept clean, and everything is managed in a way that shows real professionalism. That matters a lot when you're right next door. What stands out most is the consistency. Night after night, they create a smooth, enjoyable experience for their customers while still being respectful of the surrounding businesses and community. That balance isn't easy to maintain, but they do it well. It's great to have a well-run, family-friendly entertainment spot like this as a neighbor. They're a strong asset to the area, and I'd absolutely recommend checking them out.

I love this place, BUT…read more.. I come somewhat frequently and would love to give this 5 stars. It's a gem in a lot of ways and seemingly pretty well run. Screens are good, in and out is good, viewing angles are good. BUT you WILL have problems with people leaving headlights on and staff is not proactive enough about monitoring for this and stopping it. I left last night after having a movie ruined by people in front and behind me leaving lights on for an hour or more. I have seen them tell people to turn off lights, but more often I have to get out of my car and have the uncomfortable experience of knocking on windows to ask myself. It's an issue almost every time I go. There needs to at least be a number to call to notify staff so they can handle it. It sucks because I really do love this place otherwise.

I had not been to a drive-in in decades, so I was very much looking forward to going back to one…read more While, as is not uncommon, my childhood memories really grew as time went on, I can't say I was disappointed. We say "The Incredibles 2" and "Avengers: Infinity War". I would like a larger screen, but this was not bad. I do like the audio coming thru your car radio. Obviously your audio quality will depend on your car audio system, but it worked just fine for us. The place is obviously very dated and has seen some better days, but there were a lot of families with kids and the crowd seemed to be very happy. Also the employees were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms, while adequate, could stand to be a bit tidier. I mention it because the nights show is typically 4+ hours (double features, remember)so it is not at all unreasonable to think you may need to use the restrooms at some point. These places make their money on the concessions. We got some popcorn and it was fine. We did take some sandwiches and stuff of our own though in a cooler. Wish they had a better selection. All in all, it was a very positive experience. I would go back more often if I lived closer. (From royal oak, its almost a 2 hour drive...I was visiting some friends in Port Huron though, so that's how I wound up there.) If you want a fun night with the kids, this is a bit of nostalgia that is well worth trying out.

Definitely a cut above the average movie-going experience…read more I rather like this theatre, even if it is a little pricier than some of the others in the area, but the positives definitely outweigh any of the negative aspects. Pros: it has an actual full-service bar, so I can get my drink on- I mean serious drinks, too, not just beer and wine, but full-on mixed drinks/specialty cocktails. The drinks are not cheap, though. Let's just call it what it is- "convenience prices," particularly for the beers on tap. Case in point? $10 for a short Angry Orchard??? Yep, that's what I paid. I don't know how much the taller version cost because I didn't bother to ask. Honestly though, the cocktail prices are in line with some of the casinos in Vegas, but we all know the old saying, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do," so there's that. Beyond being able to drink here, they have a decent restaurant with regular food, like pizza (i.e. not just popcorn and Twizzlers movie theatre junk). Again, high prices, but you can actually say it's real food, not just candy and junk food. If you're adverse to eating popcorn or fried mozzarella sticks, it might be the way to go. Oh, and for the popcorn noshers, they had a huge variety of cheese/seasoning shakers located in the lobby to season popcorn. I liked the extra options because plain salt is boring. Unfortunately, they are attached to the backboard on a wire, probably to decrease the occurrences of theft. Seriously, who the heck steals popcorn seasoning? As for the theatre itself, this one has super comfortable reclining seats with foot rests. These are the best movie theatre seats anywhere. They were so comfortable, I almost fell asleep during a screening of Alien:Covenant- almost. It's obvious this particular Emagine location was renovated pretty recently. Those seats were new and I could tell. The upgrades were nice and definitely needed. It's obvious this particular Emagine location was renovated recently. I've been here a few times before, but it's much nicer than it used to be, although it always had the bar and whatnot. They also had wait service during the film. Seriously, they took food and drink orders from inside the theatre and brought it to our seats! Emagine staff would drop by and ask if we needed anything from the bar or grill. I liked that! It's the best appointed movie theatre in the area, without a doubt. Getting through ticket purchase and concessions in the lobby was a breeze. Despite the crowd, those lines moved at a lightening pace. I was surprised because I thoroughly expected the line from hell. The cons: there really weren't many. Yes, the ticket price was very slightly elevated (no doubt, to defray the costs of such a nice upgrade), but it was worth it. Plus, they don't have traditional IMAX screens, either, like NCG. Instead, they have 3D and DBOX, which isn't exactly the same. The only other potentially negative aspect (and I'm not even sure if it couldn't be either a pro or a con, depending upon the situation) was that now you have to select your seats on a screen during ticket purchase. Hmm. It remains to be seen whether I really like that change or not. I can totally see why they are doing it- to prevent overselling of tickets and ensuring that groups/couples can sit together. I get it. I just don't know if I love it yet. I also wonder if this new method might cause more headaches or delays during ticket purchase, but I'm not sure. It wasn't a big deal to us at that time, but I could see it potentially becoming a bit bothersome down the line. Like I said, I see why they're doing it, I just don't know if I like it or not. Overall, great theatre with excellent service and amenities. I know I'll be going back.

Upon arrival at the theater, I checked in at the front desk/concession area. I received my concessions that I pre-purchased. I was alone with my child as a single parent. I grabbed 2 of their trays for the seats to hold the popcorns and drinks and began juggling all of that alone. I proceeded to my theater and was met by a staff member that said they were still cleaning and we would need to wait in the hall. When I asked where I could place the trays and food I was juggling I was told "I don't know" I asked for a manager and I had 3 "managers" come up to me. I explained that I was juggling all of this as a single parent and they said " maybe don't come so early". I said that the staff member should advise the theater doesn't open until 30 mins before a show and she said " we can't catch everyone".... I was then told "enjoy my show there is nothing we can do for you." Nothing like a theatre that isn't "family friendly" and doesn't care about the customer
