I typically request an appointment online and despite doing so unless it is early in the morning the appointment always runs much longer than necessary due to how busy they are. I'm not sure if it is due to overbooking or just allowing too many walk-ins, but I have definitely had to wait over 20 minutes for an appointment I made in advanced which is unacceptable. Charming nail is one of the only salons in the area which offers dazzle dry, but the consistency of the service is all over the place. Some technicians follow the dazzle dry procedures perfectly which results in a long lasting manicure, but others don't and my nails chip less than 24 hours after being done. This is frustrating when I'm spending $30 plus tip for something that doesn't last. Especially when I'm getting nails done for a special event. Overall the vibe of the salon is good and the people are nice, but I do hope this lapse in recent service rectifies itself so that I can feel confident in going back.

I asked for a fall color for my French and she brought out 3 colors she thought would I would like and tested them so I could decide. Although I didn't get a pedicure I definitely would come back for one. The chairs were huge and comfy looking and the pedicure bowls were sparkly gold. Price was definitely fair and comparable to other salons but this place stands out to me. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, we were told Leah had overbooked and Billy would be taking us instead. I offered to wait for Leah, but my concerns were disregarded. The entire service felt rushed. Her toenails were poorly shaped, and the Dazzle Dry polish was thick, chunky, uneven, and left on her cuticles. When I asked for it to be cleaned up, I was told "after." For her manicure, she was left sitting in the pedicure chair. It was extremely uncomfortable for her, and the manicure was just as rushed, with poor shaping and uneven polish. We were then hurried to the drying station, where one of her nails was smudged. Rather than redoing it, another employee tried to smooth it out with her fingertip. When I asked if it could simply be redone, I was told, "That will take longer." At checkout, they also refused to honor the 15% senior discount currently advertised on their website and charged me $5 more than the prices listed online. I had hoped to find a salon where I could bring my mom and have her feel genuinely pampered and cared for. Sadly, this was not it. Several of the negative reviews described experiences very similar to ours, and I now wish I had paid closer attention to them. I hope the owner does the same.
