    naya bowl with falafel
    Yembur A.

NAYA will always be doomed to comparison with Cava since they're so similar. It doesn't live up to Cava's quality and flavor, but it's still decent food. Ordering was easy on the app and there's a wide array of unlimited toppings and sauces to choose from. The bowls come with a free side of pita bread, and it's individually wrapped so you can eat it with your meal or save it for later. I chose falafel as my protein and it was a bit dry and underwhelming. Also a couple of toppings I ordered were not included, so not sure if they had run out of them or forgot. I liked the whipped garlic toum and crunchy pickled veggies, and their vermicelli rice! It's also cool that they offer quinoa as a base. It was nice to try once but I probably would not come back unless they up their falafel game.

I have mixed feelings about NAYA. Without a doubt, I prefer Cava. However, sometimes it's nice to switch it up. I like how NAYA lets you load up on the toppings, but I've gotta admit that their chicken was quite dry. I've also tried the lamb, which was definitely the better choice. The quinoa was also quite the miss... very little flavor to it, so go with the vermicelli rice. I'd say the bowl is solid if you order right, so just avoid the blander options. Overall, it's a pretty casual spot with a decent amount of seating. This location is popular with people working downtown, but they seem to keep up with orders nicely. I'd be willing to go back, just no more chicken or quinoa for me!

Update: I went back to Naya a couple of days later and got the lamb kofta over rice and salad with spicy pepper sauce- that was very good too! The sauce had a bit of a kick to it but not too bad. Not a lot of diners at 12:30pm on a Monday but I think most ppl don't really know about this place yet. -------/// Newer Mediterranean quick service restaurant serving pita wraps and rice/salad bowls. I really enjoyed the chicken kebab, very flavorful and moist. It's nice that you can fully customize your bowl and get a rice/salad mix, and unlimited toppings! All the flavors worked well together and I really liked the toppings I got- particularly the garlic sauce. The veggies are very fresh. My friend enjoyed the smokey babaganoush and yogurt cucumber sauce too. A good addition to the lunch options around the Boston financial district.

Came here with my brother for a yelp event and wow--Naya absolutely delivered on flavor, freshness, and variety. If you're looking for a fast-casual spot with bold Middle Eastern flavors and endless customization, this is it. I went with the Beef Shawarma Bowl and built it with Vermicelli Rice as the base--a fluffy mix of white rice and golden-brown vermicelli that added the perfect subtle texture. The beef shawarma was super tender and packed with rich, aromatic spices. The real highlight? UNLIMITED TOPPINGS. And trust me, I took full advantage. My personal faves: Hummus - velvety and lemony, the perfect spread Baba Ghannouj - smoky eggplant goodness Cucumber Yogurt - refreshing with mint and garlic Toum (Garlic Whip) - bold, creamy, and addictive Sumac Onions + Lebanese Pickles - so much tang and crunch! And of course, I had to top it off with Zesty Jalapeño Sauce and Spicy Red Pepper Sauce--both brought the heat in the best way. We also grabbed a couple hot appetizers: Fatayer - these mini spinach pies were a hidden gem. Perfectly tart with lemon and sumac, and dare I say... better than the falafel. Falafel - still solid! Crispy outside, soft inside, and super flavorful. Bowls are around $15, and the apps were $2-3 each. A bit on the pricier side for quick bites, but honestly worth it. The quality, variety, and flavor explosion make it a satisfying splurge.

The food was sooo good and felt so clean and healthy. I recommend coming here for lunch for sure. The service was great and hummus was my favorite part. Fresh food and sauces. Parking is street parking but we found a spot very quickly. Also it want busy when we went as it was raining outside l. Overall definitely coming back

New addition to the downtown area, Naya is a cross between Cava and Sweetgreen. The menu is very focused and simple to order. The chicken shish taouk & falafel are actually pretty moist and the toppings are great. Beef shawarma bowl is a bit dry and the kafta lamb kebab is too peppery. Service is friendly, but they do not necessarily know what is in the seasonal grains. Bathrooms (single person) are clean and be warned the sink water runs hot.

The store recently opened with $5 bowl promotions for the initial weeks of opening. I was able to snag a bowl on my work break, and I can tell that this will be a great new addition for the healthy lunch options in the area. Ordering at the counter is simple, and there's also tables inside if you want to eat there.

    Bowl with chicken shish taouk

Came by because of their $5 bowls (the deal through the end of 2024). Got a regular bowl with chicken shish taouk. Very generous on the protein (love!) and everything was super fresh. Nailed the baba ghannouj. The pita is perfectly fluffy as well. Very impressed and would return on a normal day once the deal is passed!

Solid Mediterranean bowl spot in downtown. This place reminded me a lot of Cava to be honest. The chicken shawarma was flavorful and I liked that the rice came with vermicelli noodles bits. They had typical toppings like lettuce, cucumber salad, tomatoes, baba ganoush, etc. The bowl was fresh and portion was pretty generous. Would recommend.

It's a great family on run business. We had the hummus and appetizer or phenomenal as always great portions as well. I had them mixed kebab dinner. My girlfriend had the Kibby both were great lots of food and to finish the best baklava I've ever had in my life has always even brought a piece home from my mom I would recommend for any person when it's warm out. They have outside seating you can get takeout. It's right there a mess have you have to do street parking but you could always find something.

We ordered the Vegetarian grape leaves, Mujederra, Stuffed roasted eggplant appetizer, Salad with cashews -- all small dishes to share. Everything was tasty and well prepared. The only odd thing was when we first arrived, only 2-3 of the patio tables were occupied, and our friends were about to arrive. We were told - VERY STERNLY - that we needed to wait until EVERYONE was present in order to be seated, and until then, we needed to stand outside. I can certainly understand if they were busy, or even vaguely close to busy. But forcing seniors to stand outside the patio was just kinda weird. If it weren't for that off-putting interaction, I would have given them another star.

Currently closed till 7/2024 according to Yelp…read more But late 2022, we finally got the chance to try Fairouz's $43 Mixed Grill Plate (chicken, beef, shrimp (4 count), lamb, kafta (ground beef and lamb), served with rice, salad (simply lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes, and two portions of oil based dressing), garlic dip & hummus dip), to go. Everything came well packed, with the salad in a large plastic clam shell, two little sauce containers of each dip, two ziplock baggies of pita triangles, napkins, plastic ware, all sitting on the aluminum foil covered tray of meat and rice. Since I had been enticed by Bea's photo of this dish, I was a little disappointed at the lack of grilled vegetables. But there was salad and upon reflection, the menu made no mention of such veggies, so perhaps there's been changes over time? The rice received props from this household, and wonder at how it was flavored. The meat, though medium to well done, was tender enough, and the lamb lacked that gaminess that the non-lamb-eater among us so dislikes. The kafta and shrimp were the most strongly seasoned proteins of the bunch, and the shrimp rather juicy. Both hummus and garlic dip were good, but the garlic is indeed strong with the latter, so spread with a light hand. You can always add more to taste after all. The worst that could be said was that I wished that there had been more tomatoes in the salad, and if only they had not split the pita triangles. Pitas without their pockets are rather tougher to enjoy as self made mini sandwich bundles of all the good flavors and textures. I hope they see this and reconsider.
