I'm incredibly picky about where I take my dog because he truly is my child, and he is not the friendliest when it comes to people. But Nova? He opened up immediately to the girls at Tender Touch. This is a dog who used to refuse to even hop out of the car, and today he jumped right out, tail wagging. That says everything. He always comes back spotless, soft, and so well cared for. The only reason I'm giving five stars instead of ten is because they do crate the dogs, which I understand is necessary for a smaller space and for everyone's safety, and they are slightly more expensive than my previous groomer. Even so, they've become my go-to without question. I'm so happy I found them, especially Carrie and Blanca. And Blanca? Nova absolutely LOVES her.

My fur baby was a little matted so they called & told me they needed to do a #7 (lower cut) instead of the #5. That wasn't the problem, after returning home, I was petting her & keep feeling little bumps (at least 5 or more), which I then saw were scabs, then noticed one on each ear. I'm totally pissed thinking of how much pain my fur baby must have felt!! I no she must have yelped & now I'm wondering if they cut her nails to low & caused pain. When you leave your fur baby with some one, you expect them to treat them with love & care, not inexperienced groomers who seem not to care at all. They didn't even let me know anything, just here you go, that'll be $70 please. If I would have picked her up instead of my boyfriend, they defently would not have gotten a tip. Just because they put a bow on them and they look cute, doesn't mean they really care. I plan on finding out what I can do about it. The receptionist was very nice, but who ever it was that cut her had to be without experience. I'm taking her back to Petco from now on, there hair cuts may be basic, but my fur baby has never come home with cuts on her skin.
