If you can't eat one of these things, this isn't the place for you. Atmosphere: It was freezing when the door opened, but otherwise fine. There's limited seating, but enough. However, if you're seated near loud students, it's hard to have a conversation, which makes it less enjoyable for families or non-students. Service: I don't blame the servers; I blame management for not empowering them to handle issues. The host was pleasant, and we were seated quickly. We had to ask for a paper menu, but that wasn't a big deal. The problems started when a server brought our food and spilled sticky garlic sauce all over me. She seemed confused at first, and my wife had to point it out. Instead of helping, she brought back just a few napkins and a wet paper towel. The sauce soaked through my shirt, stained my jeans, and dripped onto the table and floor. I went to the washroom to clean up, but my shirt was ruined, and I had to wear my winter coat zipped up for the rest of the meal. When I returned, the mess was still on the table, bench, and floor. I had to clean most of it myself before asking staff to wipe it properly. By the time I could eat, my food was cold, and I was sticky and frustrated. The staff apologized and offered to waive the $11 appetizer, but the ruined shirt, stained jeans, and overall experience weren't addressed. When I asked for the bill, it took 15 minutes to arrive, and I had to remind them to bring a takeout container. I paid the bill without saying anything. But then they asked how they could make it right, and I told them the scope of the issue and what they could do, but they seemed clueless and offered nothing of real value. Final thoughts: My $50 shirt was trashed, I spent $6 on laundry, and my night was ruined. Management needs to train staff to handle mistakes properly--it would cost less than the damage to customer experience. The excuse that they are just part timers and don't know what to do isn't a valid excuse. Empower your employees to make a mistake right. And when they told me how they could make it right, I just asked for my money back. I'd not have left this review if they had done that. Oh, and the parking is terrible.

My boyfriend and I entered and…read morewe were the only ones in line and the guy just pointed to the self serve machine and told us to order there, which is no problem. We got our food and it was steaming hot which was nice. I got the two piece tender combo and the tender was extremely tender and easy to cut through. It did fall apart too easily though and the breading was a bit too crumbly. The fries are just okay, they got hard really quickly though and lowkey unpleasant to eat once they did. The seasoning on the tender was underwhelming and was too salty at some parts and plain at others. The price was pretty good though! I just think there's better options for hot chicken.

The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. Just like me. Spice level medium was hardly spicy - I'll go full hot next time. The tikka slaw was great, rich in spice and added a creamy counterpoint to the crispy bits. The pickles are sweet and also suit the sando perfect. Service was quick and kind. There's a bit of seating inside and a few tables in the street, but this is more of a grab and go spot if you ask me. I went to Kitchener and I got the Big D.

My friend recommended this place to me as his fav fried chicken place in KW. It's pretty good and…read morerelatively inexpensive. The chicken was moist, tender, with a nice thin batter. Side dish of cole slaw was fresh and tasty. The biscuit was terrible. They should pump it honey and deep fry it cuz it was dry and stale tasting. Service was a bit hit or miss, but this being a fast food chain, I didn't really care. Cheap fried chicken is always good.

This restaurant was not prepared at all for today's pay day special…read more I arrived at the restaurant at 6:15pm, expecting a long lineup. I got just that, a lineup going around the cashiers, the front entrance door, the seating area, around nearly to the other entrance door. They took me and my friend's order around 6:40pm. Mine came out at around 7:00pm. No biggie. Then the waiting really began. All the single orders got theirs first (including mine), including those who ordered 10-20 minutes after my friend. It took my friend until around 7:35pm to finally get his order, and we were out the door by 7:40pm: 90 minutes after we initially came in. So much for fast food. Wanna know an even bigger twist? They ran out of fried chicken at around 7:20pm. Someone didn't pass Economics 101 inside! The obvious reason why was that there was no limit to how many boxes customers can order; I saw some people ordering 4+ boxes (my friend ordered 3) of chicken, and those were the people who were holding up the other customers ordering single boxes. If they limited everyone to a single box of 8 piece chicken, I don't think there would be the amount of pandemonium I experienced here today. So off with the bad stuff, and onto the good stuff: Damn the chicken was juicy! I'd take Popeyes over KFC in terms of their chicken quality any day. Was it worth the wait? Probably not so much, but hey it was cheap so I can't really argue much of what I went through to get it.
