The technician called me back immediately and stopped by us on his way to another job within 30 minutes of the call. I am happy to be working with a small, local business, and now I'm never turning back. Thank you Williamson!

STI Heating & Air Conditioning saved me so much money! I had another HVAC company looked at my…read morecentral air unit because it was blowing lukewarm air. The other company told me I needed a new compressor for $1699 and they took only cash. After a repairman ran off with $453 of my aunt's cash, I decided I did not feel comfortable giving the HVAC repairman $2000 (with labor) in cash. So, I told him I would seek a second opinion. I called STI Heating & Cooling who were booked for the week so I made an appointment for the following week. Ted arrived on time and was very professional. He took a look at my unit (which is 42 years old) and told me I needed a Hard Start Capacitor for $173. He also checked the amount of Freon (R22) told me I might need a little. He installed the capacitor and added a little Freon and my unit start blowing extremely cold air. Ted's work was great! He told me his father had an old unit like mines and he keeps him father's unit working. I told Ted the other repairman thought I needed a new compressor and Ted suggested maybe the other repairman was not familiar with older units like mine. I am SO glad I called STI Heating & Cooling! I told Ted they are now my go-to company for ALL my HVAC activities. I would highly recommend this company - they proved to be a huge money saver for me.

First she said was $90 then once she found our records she said it was $74. Then she couldn't check me out on the new software and had to use the old software. It took over 10 minutes to buy the filter. Then I said I wanted to talk someone about a price for switching my standard water heater to a tankless unit. She said it would be $6,540 without checking with anyone in the department or asking any questions about size or model or location or number of bathrooms. The company's switch to a money grabbing franchise model spoils the good name Illiana earned over the years. I don't intend to come back.

I was not able to be home because of work, but my girlfriend allowed him access to the water heater to inspect the issue. The water heater still does not work. The invoice only indicates that the unit was "cleaned", but remains dysfunctional. The serviceman indicated that credit card payment was not an option, and that checks should be made out to him personally, instead of to Transite Heating and Air Conditioning.
