We stumbled upon this restaurant after we had left the Vatican Museum. Service was great…read more Considering it was Rome, they were very attentive. We ordered the Clams and Mussels in White Wine Sauce for our appetizer and Veal Liver in Gravy for our entree. The restaurant provided us with a bread basket along with some fried dough balls and a plate of black olives. Perfect small bites to start off our meal. The clams/mussels in white wine sauce was very good. However, the highlight of our meal was the veal liver. It was spectacular. This was the best liver I've ever tasted in my life. So good that we could not believe it was liver. The liver itself was very tender and flavorful but the secret is in the gravy. Apparently, the waiter told us that it is an old Venetian recipe which the chef uses. The waiter actually brought out the chef and we could not thank him enough for the outstanding dish.

We split a salad that was big enough for a meal, my wife had the bolognese, and I had the steak. It was super rare, but as I cut into it, I would lay it onto the stone to allow it to cook a bit more. I like it on the lean side of medium rare and my wife prefers a bit more. This was perfect for us to both enjoy it the way we like. Her pasta was excellent as well and we enjoyed sharing the meal. A bottle of wine topped off a great dinner. The weather was rainy so we opted to sit inside and it was warm and welcoming. Our waiter was helpful with our choices and we enjoyed his observations. The only thing I can say that was off, was the older woman who was paying her bill before me was pressured into leaving a tip ( service charge, is what he said). I was prepared for that but was not asked to tip. Great meal, we enjoyed it immensely, but the service charge that was scammed out of the 70+ year old lady in front of me kind of left a sour taste in my mouth. I was going to tip a few euros because we enjoyed ourselves so much, but decided not to because of the way it was presented to the party before us.

I was so thankful I got a great table right by the window. The service was very prompt and friendly. They brought me bread and water almost immediately and the bread was warm and freshly baked. I was then brought out a complimentary soup starter, which I was assured was vegan. It was a creamy vegetable based soup and was so comforting and light. For my entree, I ordered the Crispy Pasta Tart made vegan which contained sautéed veggies that were well seasoned and a savory nutty cheese inside a perfectly crispy shell. It was to die for and I also drooled at the gorgeous presentation! I regret not ordering dessert, as the vegan options sounded so enticing, but I was stuffed from eating earlier! The decor and ambiance of the restaurant was both elegant and eclectic and a pianist played as I ate. This would be such a great restaurant for a date, but I still very much enjoyed the vibe eating alone. They also have a lovely patio outside, if you reserve in advance. I would definitely return on my next trip to Rome!

It is located in the midst of a busy shopping street, so it was really convenient and we tried the appetizer sampler which was SO much food. The broccoli flan was delicious! We had also gotten the pumpkin Parmesan, I think? That was also really good! The restaurant itself was pretty quiet when we went but the ambience was pretty nice.

I searched for vegan restaurants nearby on my recent trip…read moreto Rome and was thankful this was easy to walk to and in close proximity to many of the main sites. When I walked in, I was greeted and was able to easily find a seat to relax in. The restaurant was very comfortable and cozy with great decor and a lovely ambiance. There was seating both inside and outside and while the outside would have been better for people watching, I opted to dine inside, as it was brutally hot outside. Since I had used up most of my data during my trip, I was thankful for their free and fast WiFi. I was able to view their vast menu and ended up ordering the carbonara, as eating pasta in Rome is a must! If I didn't know this was a vegan restaurant, I never would have known from the creamy pasta sauce and the savory meaty faux bacon pieces. The pasta was also very fresh and doughy and seemed handmade. The carbonara really hit the spot for me! I ended up ordering the tiramisu for dessert, as I knew I would probably never find another vegan version in Rome! It was so decadent, creamy and indulgent with a great mixture of espresso and chocolate and even contained some Oreo pieces. The service was very warm and friendly and I am glad they were able to speak English to assist with the ordering process. It was on the slower side, but I didn't mind as I was in no rush and wanted to really relax and indulge at their lovely restaurant. I highly recommend coming here on a trip to Rome!

The ambiance was fun, bright and cheery with comfortable seating. I was greeted by the friendly employee, who directed me to the QR to scan, as the menu board was only in Italian. Thankfully, they had an English version online. The menu items all sounded amazing, but the avocado burger really called out to me. I was intrigued what the guacamole would taste like. I was told I could order the burger as a standalone item or make it a meal with a drink and side. So I said, "when in Rome!" and opted to order the meal with a sparkling limonade drink and some cheesy fries. I made my way outside to their lovely patio, where there were a couple of available tables. While it was hot outside, I still wanted to do some people watching while I ate. My food was ready quickly and I headed back inside to grab it. The avocado burger was even better than I imagined. I loved how the patty was made of veggies, so it was both light and hearty. I also love the avocado spread, which added a buttery texture while the vegan mayo was very creamy with a good spiciness to it. The accompany cheesy fries were nice and crisp while the cheesy layer was nutty with lovely seasonings. The sparkling limonade drink was refreshing and a good mixture of tart and sweet. I left the restaurant feeling uplifted and energized and ready to take on the rest of the day.

First, the employee behind the counter was really helpful and thorough in explaining how some of the menu options worked. And the space had plenty of room--nice to have a little extra seat space to put down your bags. As for the food, I was actually delighted to find that they had some salad-y options too. I got this and nuggets on the side. The portions were just right and everything tasted great.
