Until she fell off the face of the Earth. I spent the past 6+ months leaving messages, texts, and voicemails literally begging for anything from an appointment to my medical records, just to be met with radio silence. Roughly 7 years of treatment just to be dropped with zero written or electronic communication as to why. This caused me to cold turkey my medication, which caused seizure-like symptoms, during a very bad time of my life, all while being sat wondering how this was allowed or why it was done. She is cash-only, which means I have zero legal rights to anything. Including my medical records. So even if I could afford the psych intake appointment from another provider, I'd be forced to start from square one because of the downright refusal to give me literally any communication. I thought maybe this was because of serious issues in her personal life, but the "operators" of the office insisted she's still in practice for existing patients, so after over 6 months I can only assume it's personal. This is a deplorable, disgusting, and downright unethical way to drop a patient, especially one that was being provided medication. She was fantastic in the past but I can NOT recommend any provider that is willing to vanish on their patients without, at BARE MINIMUM, some form of communication as to why AND the medical record for future providers. She never showed for my appointment today. One I made online over a month ago, after literally several months of not being able to make online appointments and being forced to "call for an appointment." "Calling" just led me to "operators" (it's a call center, honestly) that forward to her number. Which is a voicemail. Which never got responded to. So basically, no appointments. Suddenly one day I was able to request appointments online again!! Only on Friday at 3 or 4PM. And again, she never showed for it anyways. I'm looking into everything I can to do about this, and she isn't taking new patients at this time it seems anyways, but if you are an existing patient of hers looking for ANYTHING: give up. I guess.

If I had gone ahead and given my cc info I would've been charged god knows what while thinking my insurance was being billed. I called out her deceptive actions and she denied any bait and switch. I came to Prestige as a disillusioned patient from the churn and burn Banner Clinic experience (horrific and impersonal). Candee and her small but mighty staff are the most responsive, caring and conscientious people out there. Never have I been left hanging (ahem Banner, who took a year to get my well woman billing correctly submitted for payment to my carrier and billed me $800 in the interim) and when I call Candee or message the portal I get a same day response. Candee has helped me lose weight, fix my A1-c and cholesterol, and has gotten my preventive work all done in record time. I now have a CPAP machine and sleep well for the first time in years. She takes time to understand how my body works and I've literally never had a visit with her that was less than 40 minutes of solid face time resolving my health questions and concerns. My quality of life is so much better because I now have a true partner in my quest for better health. Seeing Candee has changed my health and her expertise and care has vastly improved my life. She is the best practitioner out there.

I was told a provider would call me today to discuss what I should do. Yep no one called me. I was very firm this morning about how bad it felt and that it wasn't normal. Hormone therapy can be expensive. You are constantly getting lab work done, every 2-3 months to verify your hormone levels. Melissa Salgado is their receptionist and she does a great job; and so much more. Amelia was my practitioner and has an amazing warmth and I really felt comfortable with her and Paula as well. I don't mind being farmed out to other practitioners but they should have the same follow-through is the original one. They just dropped the ball so many times. I left them feeling really disappointed. The lack of follow up and follow through was really lacking. When my labs would come back I would have to chase them down to get somebody to call me back. For the amount of money I'm paying I shouldn't have to chase them and continuously call and leave messages to get some type of response. I do not feel they were aggressive enough with my treatment and because I wasn't buying all the add-ons. I feel like I was a waste of their time and they didn't treat me or care the way they should have. I know there is a range of where they want your numbers to be... But some people don't fit that range and sometimes they need more. Everybody's body chemistry is different... hence the customization of the pellets.
