I am very understanding, but it would have been appropriate for the business to call and reschedule us rather than have us show up on time and wait a full hour. We are here on vacation, and there was absolutely no consideration for our time. On top of that, while we were half-naked on the table receiving our massages, they had another guest walk through our room to enter the adjoining room. How does this business think it is appropriate for other clients to see guests practically naked in the middle of their massages? Staff were also going in and out of the room while we were changing and during our massages. There was absolutely no consideration for our privacy. The massage itself was fine, but the masseuse asked every two minutes if what he was doing was "okay," which gave me the impression that he wasn't confident in what he was doing. At the end, the masseuse, who did not speak fluent English, asked, "Tip?" which is absurd. Businesses should understand that tips are generated based on the quality of service. When we tried explaining the terrible customer service we experienced, he was confused and simply asked us to leave a review.

Everything was super clean when I was taken to the room, I was told to put on a robe, a pillow was under my legs and then a blanket. My hair smells amazing, feels amazing, my scalp feels amazing too. The neck and arm massage was soooo good and she also massaged my legs and feet. I would totally recommend this experience!

I was already planning to leave a 10% tip, but I was told that I **had** to leave a 20% tip. I did not see anything posted stating that a 20% gratuity was their standard policy. If that is their expectation, it should be clearly communicated to customers before the service begins--not by pressuring them at checkout. When I politely asked why a 20% tip was required, the employee simply walked away without explaining. Tipping should be based on the customer's experience and should never feel mandatory unless it has been clearly disclosed in advance. Because of the way I was treated during checkout, I don't think I will return, despite the massage itself being decent.

I have been getting massages here for a few years and they have a nice thing going. The facility is…read moreclean and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and the therapists are professional and do a nice job. I particularly recommend Isaac! I don't think they pay their therapists well because they are very insistent about you tipping them. So be ready to tip on top of the already very expensive $140/hr massage price. If you do the membership program it is $85/month for one massage. They have the unfortunate location right next to a karate class so you can hear students shouting sometimes. It wasn't terribly disruptive though. Also they seem overly concerned about inappropriate behavior so before every massage they make you sign a form saying you will stop the massage if anything happens that you don't like. They also don't let their therapists massage muscles they feel are too sensitive to do such as adductors, gluteals and pectorals. So if you are an athlete or want a full body massage this is not the place for you.

Late post from April 11…read more I visited Alora Health Spa while in Orlando and had such a great experience. I booked a lymphatic massage and wood therapy, and both were exactly what I needed -- relaxing, effective, and professionally done. The spa itself is super clean and calming as soon as you walk in. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the vibe was peaceful without feeling too "clinical" The lymphatic massage was gentle but purposeful, and I could feel a noticeable difference afterward -- lighter, less bloated, and super relaxed. The wood therapy was new for me, but the therapist explained everything and made me feel comfortable the whole time. It was a bit more intense, but in a good way -- and I definitely noticed some contouring effects. They really take their time with you and focus on what your body needs, which I appreciated. If you're looking for a nice spa experience in Orlando I'd definitely recommend Alora. I'm already thinking about booking again next time I'm in town!

This was something I was so beyond excited for as I'm a Paraprofessional on winter break. I'm not sure if the lady I had was having an off day or what was going on but, she kept falling asleep and spacing out while working on me. I couldn't relax or even enjoy it because I had to keep "clearing my throat" to wake her up. She didn't have much pressure so it was like she was just moisturizing my feet. The first 24ish mins was her barely rubbing my left foot, she rub up my left leg once, never touch either of my ankles. Then the other half of the time she rubbed up my right leg a few times to begin and then continued to spaced out/fell asleep rubbing my right foot. Yes, I tipped her. This was a Christmas gift from my husband but next time I'll just ask him for a foot rub instead. I know I could have said something about the pressure but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I don't think I'll be back to try again.
