I came to James for relief from peripheral neuropathy pain in legs and feet that have bothered me for years. The nighttime leg and feet pain disrupted my sleep cycle and sleep deprivation affected by mental clarity. My Podiatrist and Vein doctors both told me there is no cure for my condition. James has taken a whole-body approach to treatment. He took time to listen to my issues, asked very probing questions and explained each step of his process. My improvements were not immediate but over time I have a significant reduction in the level of pain and been able to sleep longer each night without disturbances. The atmosphere at the Healing Arts Center is professional, efficient and very welcoming. James and Lisa are a good team. I would recommend the Healing Arts Center for anyone seeking an alternative health care to that of traditional medicine for pain or stress management.

As a retired licensed medical professional, I cannot in good faith recommend this facility…read more I have a significant medical condition, yet I was never evaluated by--or even introduced to--a licensed physical therapist. My first visit was conducted by a student who was not supervised. My second visit was with a PT assistant. At no point did I meet or receive care from the licensed PT responsible for my treatment. More concerning, I disclosed my medical condition and no one involved in my care was familiar with it, nor did they make any apparent effort to consult with the supervising therapist or seek clarification. Additionally, I have received multiple unexpected charges despite only attending two visits, which raises further concerns about billing transparency. This experience reflects a lack of oversight, communication, and professional accountability that is unacceptable in a clinical setting

The staff is very caring and helpful and Dr. Clark is very patient and thorough. I injured my finger with a mandolin (I'll spare the details) and was having a hard time finding a place that had easy to schedule appointments and takes my insurance. They are in network with several of the Blue Cross programs. The entire staff is fantastic. From the front office - answering questions, easy of making appointments, etc. To the nursing staff - calm, happy energy and gentle with my wound. To the Doctor - highly professional, knowledgeable and clearly communicates the plan and what she's doing. And finally - the office manager - friendly and professional. Getting wound care can be stressful, but my experience has been great so far. They also offer hyperbaric treatments, but I have not needed those. They customize your treatment based on your needs. I currently go twice a week and my wound is healing well. They also are able to refer you out to other doctors for any additional required evaluations (i.e. I may need a hand doctor to get involved with my injury also). They are open Mon-Thurs and on Fridays for dressing changes (usually half day). I appreciate that the office is decorated for the season and my husband loves the Halloween pretzels :) He's a regular consumer of those LOL.
