Feifei doesn't just treat the problem her goal is to get you back to optimal health. This requires a deep commitment and often times a major lifestyle change. When searching for a doctor of this sort I wanted and herbalist as well and that's how I ended up here. The first person you talk to is her faithful assistant and client who drank the kool aid. She was pleasant and instilled confidence in my decision to go here. Sadly they are closed on Tuesday and Thursdays. You can't be treated on an empty stomach just an fyi. The next thing is that you will get told frankly and honestly about what needs to happen which I appreciate. This was not just a doctors visit it was a learning experience. After talking to the doctor you agree on a treatment plan and you get a nice half hour to chill out while the needles do their thing and the doc mixes up a batch of herbs for you. I was expecting a tea to brew but these were actually a powder. I came in with several issues the most pressing of which would take about 4 months to resolve. But in the meantime I also had an ear ache and soar throat which was treated through acupuncture as well. I felt better at the time then worse when I left also my ear was nicked a bit and had a bloody mark. Took a Claritin when I got home and felt better again. I might have been down for the count but am certain that the acupuncture helped prevent it. Although the goal is overall wellness this is a major commitment both lifestyle and diet not to mention the cost. Ultimately you need to decide what price your willing to pay for health and when and how you wish to achieve it. Sadly after having spent quite a bit of $$$ I realized I'm not at a place in my life where I can commit to this as I ought to. While I would pursue the acupuncture it's quite a far away commute for me.

I've been dealing with a lot of excruciating pain since after my surgery (non neck and non-spine…read morerelated). Sleeping on the recliner (post-surgery) for a month triggered an entire other problem: a bunch of unbelievable excruciating cervical neck pain, preventing me from sleeping throughout the night for about 5 days now. I was in tears every night when it was time to sleep and I almost called the ER 2 of those 5 nights and it became clear that I needed an MRI, it was so bad. I was very scared, as well as skeptical because I had never tried acupuncture before, but I decided to see  Dr. Anca for a treatment. It lasted for 30-45 minutes and I began to feel my body shift. For hours afterward, my spine continued to shift, crackle, pop, and my shoulders released. That same night, I was able to sleep like a baby. I was able to sleep on both sides of my neck (which is new) and the ability to switch over to the other side allowed me to sleep all night long. Also, I only woke up to use the restroom one time instead of 3-4 times lol. I am still in disbelief at how much this has changed my life, putting me back on track to normalcy. I was beginning to think I had to live with that pain forever. (For good measure, I am still going to ask for an MRI to see what that pain was all about). I have not had anyone to look at me and tell me what was going on with my body. She told me that my blood was low, just by looking at my tongue. She told me to juice more spinach. I have had a total of 4 treatments. I came there with neck, back, foot, and some leg pain. I was also having hot flashes like crazy and seeing spots in my right eye. After, the first two treatments I notice I was having fewer hot flashes and my pain was less as well. What is so funny is after my 3rd treatment, I was not having any hot flashes and the pain in my back and neck was now a mystery. This has been the best acupuncture that I have had.
