Usually a great nail spa, I used to go here regularly but recently they've been rushing through my…read morepedicure so I don't go near as often. I get the Honey Pearl pedicure which is $70 and am often disappointed that they don't let my feet soak long enough for the volcano treatment to work, the stone massage is a rush job and even got the wrong polish treatment. Wish I could say it was still the best nail salon in shawnee but I want to leave an honest review.

I started coming to this salon because my previous nail salon consistently upcharged for unclear or…read moreinconsistent services. Until today, I appreciated that your pricing felt more transparent. I get gel polish on my natural nails, which has consistently been $30 including tip (which is consistent with their $21-$26 price range for that service). Today, I did expect a slightly higher charge since I had my cuticles trimmed, which would be considered "Gel + Manicure," & based on the posted pricing, should have brought the total to approximately $36, plus tip. Instead, I was charged $43. When I asked why, I was told the $7 unaccounted for was a charge for "gel polish removal." This was surprising and frustrating, as polish removal is something that has been done at every visit without an additional charge and is generally considered a standard part of gel services. I would like to point out that the website does not list a base price for regular polish, but the charge for $62.99 on my account was for the basic pedicure with regular polish + gel polish on my natural nails, including "polish remover." There isn't even a price listed online for the basic pedicure. Additionally, I'd like to note that the charge on November 16th for $30 included removal of my fake nails that I had for my wedding on November 1st. So why didn't I get charged for that? I understand prices can change, but unexpected add-ons for services that have never been charged before make it difficult to trust the pricing, and the people. A regular gel manicure should not total $43, and clearer, more consistent pricing would go a long way. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that you understand that us common folk do notice when you up charge for bogus things. I don't want anything from you, I won't be back to this salon, just as I won't be back to my previous salon because I believe in honest business practices.

LIKE MY TOES. and she just goes "oh" and continues to clean up. so i go "guess im done then!" (i had already sat for 30 minutes longer than my aunt and we were supposed to be getting the exact same thing). mine took exceptionally longer despite not even receiving nail polish on my fingernails. literally AWFUL service, i'll never return

It was done by an elderly woman with glasses and she did the WORST manicure I've ever had. She shaped my nails unevenly. The polish was uneven and she didn't even do a base polish. I don't think she put down a clean towel either. She didn't remove all the paraffin and didn't have me wash my hands prior to polishing. I said something about the polish looking a bit uneven, and she said it was because they just took off my acrylic nails. I would've asked her to redo them after examining them and realizing they were done so poorly (streaks, polish not reaching the tips of nails, and bubbles) , but she promptly left me and never returned, not even to tell me when my nails should be dry. Horrible manicure experience! I returned home and repolished them (luckily I brought my own OPI polish with me, which was brand new) and they looked perfect, so being uneven because of acrylic removal was totally bogus!
