I was told that someone had "walked in" and booked an appointment so she would not be able to get to me. The "walk-in" was not there. So I found that interesting. Now please don't get me wrong, Hope is not the reason I am giving this bad review. She is a fantastic stylist. This location is so convenient I tried again. Booked on the phone for the first available stylist. Was told when I got there they were too busy. A few tears later and I at least got a haircut by one of the stylists. Tried again today. Booked online early, for 4:45 hair color, style, and wax. Called to confirm only to be told that they don't take hair color after 4:00 pm. Thank goodness I didn't drive all the way over there. You could tell that the woman didn't really want to help. She said they close at 7 pm and might be able to do part of what I booked. I use to love this place. They catered to working individuals who don't have the luxury of taking off work during the day time to get their hair done. Now they are subpar and want you to cater to them. This tells me that the SmartStyle company should really take a look at who is running this establishment, and the rules and regulations regarding online booking and service delivery.

Tina cut my curly hair very well. She washed then cut off a lot of my hair, which is what I asked for. She did a great job although she was a little rough when washing and styling with product. Sasha cut my boyfriend's hair but asked for help when she wasn't sure what to do. This was actually a good thing because then she didn't mess up his hair by continuing. It was only $31 for both our haircuts combined, although Tina gave my boyfriend a discount for some reason. I'm not quite sure why. I love my haircut and my boyfriend loves his. I will probably come here again.

Before I finally found Sarah, my new go-to stylist, I had tried several places over the last few years to get what I thought was just an easy Pixie cut. The first one was so uneven and choppy that my partners first words after seeing it were "what happened!?". After the person cutting my hair tried to "fix it" twice, only making it worse, I just left and proceeded to let it grow out for several months. The second time I tried to get an easy Pixie cut, the hair cutter started by saying, "just so you know, I didn't learn how to do men's haircuts in school" , right before I heard her electric clipper flip on as she proceeded to give me a Marine Corps boot camp style buzz cut on the back of my head! The third time, I went to a high-end salon and paid an exorbitant amount to hopefully ensure getting a professional cut , merited by the price and after almost two hours, walked out with a haircut that was almost as bad as the first try. Then I found Sarah.....she was caring, kind, and listened with empathy as I relayed the hair cutting horrors I had dealt with in the past. I told her exactly what I wanted, gave her the same picture I had shown all the others of the hair style I wanted, and lo and behold.....within 30 minutes (which included a shampoo and delightful scalp massage) I had the exact hairstyle I had been wanting for so long. Sarah used nice smelling products that left my hair feeling fresh, light and clean, and she has a kind welcoming personality that makes time just fly by while spending time in her chair. As long as Sarah is a hairstylist, I will only sit in her chair for my hair!
