I've been a long time customer at this nail salon, and I've always had a good experience. This last time, however, was a terrible experience. I had a pedicure and manicure done by I believe Yuki, and I ended up getting a pus filled infection on the side of my toe. She was trying to get the pedicure done so fast and probably ended up cutting the inside edge of the skin next to the toenail. This is very worrying even if they say they use "sterilized tools". I also requested a full arm wax, only if they had the time for it, and she said yes and that it would be $30 for full arms. Again, she was trying to wax and get it done with so fast that she hit my face twice while pulling the strips off, and left multiple spots of unwaxed hair. She was already going to put oil on when I had to tell her of all the spots she missed, which she said were fine and unwillingly redid 3 areas and still left the others. Then I told her I have a little bit of hair on my fingers, and she got annoyed and said it would be extra, so assuming it's just a few hair on fingers, it would not be too much additional cost. I've had arm wax done many times before and fingers have never been an issue where they charge extra. And the proper way to wax fingers is to use a stick to put on just a little wax on each finger so it's easy to remove such a small area. Instead, she used the large roller with wax to put the wax on my ENTIRE HAND at once before I could say anything. Of course, when she tried to take off the wax, since it was so much and so thick, it dried and it wouldn't come off. She had to pretty much pull it off over and over again, causing my hand to become swollen, painful, inflamed, and red, like from a burn. And I don't even have hair on my entire hand, all I asked for was fingers. She admitted she had put too much wax and it had dried. To clean off the wax she had left everywhere, she was using a rough small little napkin and pumping just a little bit of oil and scraping my arms roughly with this. I asked her if I could have a wet towel (which they definitely have for nail service) or even just a piece of bounty paper towel (which they also have) and she said oh no, we don't have those just these small napkins. When I insisted, she said she'll try to find one in their office, and came back with a slightly larger one sheet napkin. When I asked for something to help with the pain on my now throbbing inflamed hand, like aloe, she said no it's looks fine, you don't need anything! I was shocked by her answer and didn't even know what to say. When she charged me for all service, she added in $16 extra for fingers! Even after burning one of my hands! And earlier, she didn't even know pricing for an arm wax and had to ask other colleagues. I asked why is it so much for just fingers and she said it's $8 per hand, and instead of apologizing for what she did to my hand, she said your hands are too dry. I have never heard of individual hand prices, especially since all wax prices are for both arms or both legs, etc. I later checked their pricing brochure and saw $30 for full arms and $6 for hands (plural meaning for BOTH). When I questioned the manager why I'm being charge $16 instead of $6, before he could answer, she said something to him in their language, and he agreed with her that it should be $16. First off, it's extremely rude to be speaking amongst each other in a different language while performing services on clients, and sometimes even laughing which they do, it almost seems like they ask you a question in English and then right away talk to a colleague in their own language about you. In general, there are plenty of salons that claim to have clean environment and "sterile" tools, so this was just an awful, and damaging, customer service experience that will cause my entire family and friends to now go elsewhere. read more

Love this nail salon. The staff is professional and nice. They are handling reopening very well with distancing. All the staff wears face shields and there's also a barrier between the customer and the staff while getting your nails done. I've gotten several pedicures, regular manicures, gel and SNS. For the past year or so, I have been experimenting with different types of false nails (powder, acrylic gels, etc.) because my natural nails tend to break quite easily. However, I am also extremely cautious about getting false nails that are too long to the point where they impede on everyday tasks like typing on a keyboard at work. Due to this caution, I have only been to one or two salons in NYC since moving there five years ago. However, my parents and sister still live in Franklin Lakes and have been begging me to try out Natural Nails. I am so glad I did! I came in without an appointment at 5pm on a Saturday, expecting a long wait and an unhappy staff. Not only were they accommodating regardless of the large number of patrons but I was seen very quickly and without feeling rushed. I chose a color for my acrylics and Wendy (who did my pedicure) chose a matching color for my toes (regular polish). After Wendy completed my pedicure, I saw Karen for my acrylics. I explained my concerns with her, and she was open to all of my (unnecessary) fears. They turned out to look precisely as I had envisioned in my mind. i had a gel manicure with Cathy and when i had the gel removed, there were dark lines on every nail! the owner admitted it was caused by incorrect application with the machines but did not offer to do anything. i was told the nails would have to grow out. I don't see why people love this place it was really nothing great at all. No one was friendly,my pedicure was over in 25 minutes and it was unremarkable at best. Honestly I do a daily better foot massage and scrub on myself! The manicure was ok but the paint job sloppy. They also had no one doing a comp shoulder massage which most places do! HORRIFYING HORRIBLE DISGUSTING NAIL SALON. I GOT FUNGUS!!!!!! Just started coming here about 3 months ago. Switched from my other nail salon that i've been going to for 8 years... worst mistake ever. I live in franklin lakes so this was more convenient for me than my old place. First time i came i got a gel manicure, very mediocre. Nails looked nothing special and the gel was opaque and not painted right in spots you could see through, and it was a grey blue... not even a light color. Next time i got acyrlic tips, for $50. Which is already $15 more than my last place so i was expecting these to look amazing. They were so ugly. Asked for medium length they made them so short, and the acrylic was so thick, and the gel was just layered all on there and made it even thicker. They have no idea what they're doing with tips. If you dont know how to do it correctly don't offer the service. They barely lasted 2 weeks, which at my other salon my tips lasted 3+. Also took my friend here with me for pedicures too, so gave this place even more money, and they rushed the job soooooo bad. I have never had such a short pedicure in my life and my feet looked worse than when i walked in. Just pathetic. Anyway, 4th time i get fill ins. Figured one last try here. This is where it gets disgusting. First off had to go back 3 times that same week because the gel kept peeling right off the nail. Unacceptable. Especially for the prices. So then after 8 days gel is peeling off left and right again... and i see under the acrylic theres a big dark spot underneath, so i peel the acrylic off and my nail has GREEN FUNGUS. Never in my life have i had this. It is so disgusting and this place is clearly not clean whatsoever. Stay away. Dont waste your money here. WOW is all I have to say- this place is tip top for a great price . I got a free manicure here as a first tome customer with a coupon and a pedicure, and was impressed by how gorgeous it is! Matching furniture, new ivory massage chairs, even a little chandelier. This place was clean, stylish, and te women were so friendly. I cut my nails really short so I was expecting them to comment on it (like the women at all the other salon do, i'm always embarrassed) .. And not a word! No loud talking in a foreign language about my feet! They were all wearing matching uniforms and looked spectacular. My pedicure had all the works- they didn't miss a thing and Then some- my massage was so long, they had a parafin wrap on my heels, oils salts, scrubs with massage to really get your skin shining. These massage chairs actually felt good too- instead of beating my back and resulting in more discomfort (like most massage chairs do) the manicure was awesome, they did not rush it and spent time on each nail making sure it was perfect, then while I was getting the manicure, I got the most fantastic shoulder/back massage ever, and she kept going through like half the manicure! Never make an appointment late because they close at 7, but it's ok to wait for other clients to get there nails done (not they should not book back to back). Never come here for powder dip extension tips. I have had acrylic tips in the past but decided to try doing the new dip powder instead. They came out great. I went back 2 weeks later and they didn't tell me that you couldn't fill powder dip tips and you needed to pay $50 again for a while new set. Pretty hard to believe you need to pay $50 for a new set of tips every 2 weeks. I then decided to call other local nail salons who said that they were able to do fills on powder dip tips. Either they lied to me or they were trying to rip me off making me pay $50 for a whole new set of tips. Very schemey business they are running. read more

I got the free manicure and $5 ten minute massage while getting manicure. The manicure was great and the massage was better than expected. They used sterilized tools that were sealed and opened before use. Some nail salons add on a $2 charge for sealed tools, they did not. Will be heading back for the free pedicure before the end of the month. I may have found a new nail salon. They also offer different types of massages and facials. read more

Went for a gel manicure on Sunday and was actually pleased with the outcome however yesterday my acrylic tip broke so I went to get it fixed today.
