First, how does a cash-based business not have change available? Second, why turn away a customer who is offering slightly more than the total and explicitly saying to keep the difference? It's their fog fest tradition which I'm so thankful for because we weren't able to stand in the long food lines with a teething sleepy 9 month old so we helped ourselves. They were having a 20% off special too. I purchased some THC/CBD cream for my back pain that's been exacerbated lugging around baby boy. The guys running the shop were so chill and friendly and I'll probably pass by again when I need a refill on balm.
