There is TWO versions of the fresas con crema and I was not aware. On the menu there is no option A or B. So when I ordered "fresas con crema" today and I was given the pink version, I explained to Alondra the cashier that I've always been given the white crema she responded in a very condescending manner!! All the girls have always been very friendly here and I am not going to stop being a customer due to someone's lack of customer service. These are best fresas con crema! However having an employee assume I know the menu as detailed as she is trained to is absurd. She asked if I wanted whip cream on top but never asked if I wanted pink or white! We were on our way to the Anaheim Ducks game and was running pretty late. We were pretty hungry and didn't want to pay the expensive food prices at the arena so my cousin suggested this restaurant. He told us that they specialize in elotes which is grilled Mexican street corn and we were all persuaded. We got here and the restaurant was kind of small; it's not a dine-in restaurant, but they do offer very limited seating inside. Got there around 6 PM and there was no wait. The cashier seemed kind of agitated when we were indecisive with our order. Either that or we were asking too much questions. Either way, the friendly and helpful customer service was lacking. We ended up ordering 3 orders of large elotes to share among 4 people. They made it really quickly and it came out steaming fresh. However, the way they displayed the elotes in a Styrofoam cup made it hard to mix up all the ingredients especially when all the cheese, mayonnaise, and chili powder is at the top and the corn is underneath. When I was finally able to mix it by asking for another cup, I took my first bite. I was super disappointed. I didn't like the cheese they used because it was very thick. Also, I think they added some lime in the cup because it was pretty sour. Other than that, the corn was hot and a bit crunchy, and with all the ingredients, it countered the sourness with super saltiness. After a couple of bites, it got very boring to eat any further. We had to order a drink because it was too salty. Ended up getting the mango chamoy which was really refreshing. Overall, I am not a fan of their grilled Mexican street corn (elotes). Maybe it was because it was too salty for my taste. They should really find a way to allow the customers to mix the elotes without grabbing another cup or they should just mix it beforehand. I have been coming to Natural for many years and many times a week. I have told many friends and people about Natural. I go so often I wish they had a rewards program! Its located on St College before Ball Road adjacent to Carl's Jr. in the little strip mall where the liquor store is and across the street from In & Out. It's pretty fresh, tasty and good variety on the menu. The prices have gone up some & quantity gone down (pre covid). The price for fruit bowls which you can get for parties, etc went up a lot yet the size of the bowls & quantity of fruit went way down. They cut the fruit in such big chunks really should be cut smaller. I'm sure they do that to make money as big chunks take up most the room. Overall tho the quality is good to great. Menu consists of shrimp cocktail, sandwiches, fruit, veggies, juice/smoothie drinks and ice cream. Fruit solo or with cottage cheese, cream, bionico. They give you a side of lime juice & tanjin. Again the quantity has gone down & the price up (pre covid & maybe covid). The fruit bowls I order for parties or just to take home are yummy. However the fruit is again cut in to big of pieces and really should be cut smaller. But again they probably cut the fruit big on purpose. Big chunks take up the room in the bowl or cup and therefore more money for the business. If you order the smaller plain fruit they are in a styrofoam cup. If you want a plastic bowl instead of a styrofoam cup they charge extra but don't tell you that. IMO it should all be in a bowl. The fruit is usually really good. However sometimes and a lot lately tho, I feel the fruit hasn't been fresh. Or a mix of tasty fruit, hard unripped melons & mango, over ripped papaya, and just ok tasteless watermelon. I wonder where they get their fruit from? The store or a local distributor? I've noticed only ladies work here in the front of the house & back of the house. Not sure if they are all related like a family business or just work at Natural. The juices & smoothies are really good. Prob my favorite. I'm not sure if they are just fruit as I can't see what they put into the blender. Water, ice, powders, sugar? I think just fruit tho. The wall to the back of the house/kitchen is solid so you can't see what goes on behind the wall after you place your order. There's just a small pass thru window. Sometimes the young gals working in the front go to the back & bring fruit to make smoothies. However majority is made behind the wall. The young gals up front scoop the Thrifty Brand ice cream. It would be nice if it was an open concept or plexi glass so you could see into the kitchen. Natural is on the smaller side. Few tables inside to enjoy your treats but most people call in orders or place their orders & take them to go. (Currently only to go orders now due to covid). The only disappointment is they don't give you enough crema on their biónico. I wanted to try a new coffee joint in the same area, but boy was I glad I let her decide! ChamoyMango!! So cool & refreshing!! To be honest with you, it was my first time trying it. I didn't like it initially. I drank it from the candied tamarind straw without mixing it and got a good mouthful of the spicy, salty, sweet & sour chamoy. Definitely mix it up real good with the mango smoothie. The more I kept drinking, the more I started enjoying my smoothie. It's one of those drinks where you're either going to like it or hate it. The candied tamarind straw was an additional treat! Trust me, in time, you'll learn to enjoy it like I did. I tried my friend's watermelon smoothie...that was very good too. They make their smoothies with REAL fruits!! My friend's been here several times and mentioned the shrimp cocktail's worthy to devour here. We didn't have any problem finding parking in their shared parking lot but I hear it can get pretty busy. It's really clean and spacious inside, lots of descriptions on the menu, and lots of pictures. I found this place on Yelp because I wanted to try something different. They are known for their Fresas con crema and Bionicos. We ordered the Strawberry fresa con crema, and boy, is that sweet. It tastes a tad sweeter than frosting, but has the consistency of cream. It has a good amount of sliced strawberries in the cup and is topped off with whip cream. To me, this does not sound so healthy. For someone that's incredibly indecisive ::raises hand:: maybe it's not THE best place for you. It can be a bit overwhelming. BUT for someone who loves to try new desserts ::raises hand:: maybe it's a winner! Pardon me for being a complicated person. My theories never make sense. I want to try everything but I almost always end up sticking with what I know and what I love. And what I LOVE the most about Natural is the FRESAS CON CREMA! Aside from the fresas con crema I've also tried the escamocha, chamango, corn cup, banana wafer sundae and strawberry sundae. The escamocha is basically a fruit salad/dessert. It came in a large cup filled with slices of apples, bananas, coconut, papaya, strawberries, layered with yogurt and topped with granola. Can anything this good taste so healthy?? Yes! All the fruits had that natural sweet and fresh taste and the apples and coconuts were so crisp. I guess it's similar to a bionico which is also a kind of fruit salad/dessert but the bionico includes more varieties of fruits, raisins and shredded coconuts. Hmmm...how would I describe a chamango? I guess it's like a Mexican slushie/icee? Such a delightful blend of mangos, chamoy and ice. What a refreshing drink! The robust flavors instantly take you back to when you were a kid and ran to your nearest liquor store and raided the Mexican candy section. Who doesn't remember the tamarind candy? Or the Lucas?? The bf loves this drink because it's not too sweet, a little salty and has a bit of a bite to it. Moving on to the infamous corn cup. It's as simple as the name itself. Corn...in a cup. If I described the entire dish you'd think I'm crazy--broiled corn with mayo, sour cream, butter, mozzarella, parmesan, lemon pepper, salt, lime and chile? Doesn't sound so lovely right? But it's basically the grilled corn on the cob that you see vendors sellling on the streets of LA. Don't get me wrong, I love the grilled corn on the cob but the corn cup was a miss for me. It's just not the same. Maybe it's an acquired taste but I still believe it's a must try for anyone. Lastly, the banana wafer sundaes and the strawberry sundaes are pretty good. They're not amazing but they're not terrible either. Very sweet. Very creamy. But also very simple. If you're not feeling very adventurous or if some of the items seem too complex then I suggest you start off by sticking with what you know because even the simple desserts like the sundaes, milkshakes or a fruit smoothie are still worth trying and maybe in the near future you can order yourself a chamango or corn cup. I like Natural, I really do. They are close by, so I can go whenever I want. The prices are very reasonable. The biggest perk is that, instead of having a bunch of pre-determined smoothies to choose from (like Jamba Juice or Juice It Up) you get to fully customize your smoothie. I love a blueberry banana smoothie, sometimes raspberry banana, or blueberry banana with strawberry in it. The watermelon juice is pretty refreshing, though I'm not a huge fan of watermelon, but I would reccomend it to anyone that likes watermelon. They have several little fruit cups, frozen fruit bars, and a small selection of food items on the menu. I only go for smoothies, of course.Service is pretty fast, and the staff here is nice...so are the customers! I don't feel weird waiting in here when the line is long, since people will gladly move if they need to and mind their own business instead of glaring at you or being rude. idk...the people are nice. This place reminds me of my roommates. Like any other regular person, I checked yelp first to see what to get. I was lazy so I just looked at the pictures. And of course, there are many pictures of Chamango. I guess I didn't look It detailed enough, so I thought it was a mixture of strawberry and mango mix into one drink. Because that seems very appealing to me, I decided to get Chamango. I saw some comments in the pictures that says the straw was candy, so I thought that would be very interesting. After getting my drink, I realize that the red stuff was not strawberry. It is the chili candy that you can find a Mexican convenience store. And, just a fun fact to throw out there, I cannot eat spicy food. I think black pepper is very spicy... so of course I had a very difficult time trying to enjoy a cold beverage on a hot, California, summer day. The drink was cool and hot that it created an interesting experience. While I was struggling, I thought of my roommate trying to feed me all these hot snacks... so basically, this drink brought back memories from a few months ago. Although I do I eat spicy things, I really did enjoy Chamango. Before walking in, I was expecting artificial fruit flavoring for all their drinks, but all were made with real fruits. Never been to a Mexican Ice cream shop like this. NEVER EVER BEEN TO A MEXICAN ICE CREAM SHOP EVER! Ordered: Chamoyada (Mango Chamoy Smoothie)- Mango smoothie+ Tarmarind (Mexican Candy) Straw. Very cool. Different and unique from what I usually get for drinks. Definitely a refreshing mango punch with a mix of Tarmarind in it. Interesting combination. Like Tajin! The line is out the door in the evenings and sometimes I wait other times I head to Cancun Juice for a Chamoyada the sweet mango/chile drink that makes me feel like everything's going to be alright. If you don't have patience like me I'd suggest calling in your chamoyada order in at Cancun Juice on Lincoln and State College. I tried calling my order in to Natural three times but got a busy signal and then a fax machine beep. read more

I thought I was walking into another ordinary ice cream store. It's not. They do have ice cream (about 12 flavors). It's their fruit menu that really sets them apart. I got the Escamocha (small $5). It's basically a Greek style yogurt, which contains various fruit (incl. coconut slices), granola, plain yogurt and honey. The fruit was fresh and varied. I asked for just a little bit of honey and it was still sweet enough. Most people got a smoothie, which uses fresh fruit as well. They have various other fruit and smoothie options and even broccoli and cheese (huh?!). I actually like broccoli and cheese but it seemed out of place here. The only thing I didn't like was one of their staple smoothies. I forget the name but it was mango smoothie with some spicy/salty red stuff. It was so not good. The straw came with that red stuff in jelly form wrapped around it. I don't know what the attraction is but it's not for me. The ladies that worked the front was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. They might do well to put up pics so they don't have to re-answer the same questions. The inside can hold about 40 people. It's not brand new but they maintain it well so it's very comfortable inside. I would recommend this place. read more
