The space is intimate, cozy, and beautifully decorated with a New Mexico inspired vibe that gives it a unique touch. The bartender was super nice, and the music was great all night. It was definitely more of a lively atmosphere, so conversation was a bit difficult at times due to the volume, but we still had a wonderful time enjoying the drinks and music. Overall, it was a fun experience, and we're glad we stopped by. We'd love to come back on a non Sunday evening to experience the speakeasy in a different setting.

As soon as I sat down, the bartender she rushed over to clear them. At least this time she wasn't rude. That area should have been kept clear and accessible in the first place. Not everyone can sit comfortably at a high-top, which is exactly why designated accessible seating needs to remain available and unobstructed. People who need accessible seating should be able to use it without feeling like they are inconveniencing anyone. The bartender also seemed to need more training when it came to basic bar service and managing the space for customers. When my food was ready my to go drink was not made.. the guy who handed me the food said, I should let the bartender know. I replied if I order to go, the drink ticket has been sitting at the bar. Why would I have to tell her anything. It's her job to see a ticket and make the drink.. He shooked his head yes and let her know. I placed a to go order. The drink ticket had been waiting. I used to bartend at a very busy dive bar, so I understand the job and the expectations. I never kept cups sitting all over the bar or allowed my workspace to limit where customers could comfortably sit. I also payed attention to the drink ticket orders. The Lanai is located in the Cravings food court area at The Station shopping center in Eastvale. There is plenty of parking available. We went inside to the Shuck Oyster bar and entered The Lanai from there. It is actually more of a tiki patio than an enclosed tiki bar. However, the tiki décor is great with plenty of bamboo, carved tiki figures, hanging puffer fish, tiki style signs, and many tropical accents. There are overhead fans spaced around in case it is hot outside. We had one round of drinks and several appetizers. The coconut shrimp and lightly battered Shishito peppers were great and the sauces paired well. We have had these appetizers at Stowaway before and they had the same good quality. She ordered the spicy tofu bites. I'm not usually a fan of tofu, but they were surprisingly really good. I had the Adrian's Mistake cocktail which was well balanced and a little on the strong side. She had the Right Of Passage which was good and had a light fruit flavor and you could definitely taste the mango. The one man show Brandon took great care of us. It was slow at this time of day so we got a chance to chat with him quite a bit and service was fast. They have a weekday happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. Although we didn't specifically order off the happy hour menu, three of our items, including both cocktails were part on it. I give it 4.3 stars but rounded up to five stars. I'm sure the ambience is much better in the evening when it more lively and dark outside. They have a good variety of munchies, and the cocktail menu has a good mix of tiki classics and some originals. I don't think there any many tiki bars in this area, so I hope they do well.
