Traveling Dog Trainer - Lauren with Jacob & Charlie in Dallas

Lauren came to our house to help our Morkie who is 9 pounds. He has high anxiety and is terrified…read moreof people and other dogs. For the first hour Lauren provided some good information and things to try with Darwin to help him. After that she said she wanted to bring in her dog for Darwin to be around, I stated I wasn't really comfortable with Darwin being around another dog and I didn't think it was the best idea. Lauren assured us that her dog Mable was extremely friendly and did not care about other dogs (Mable is a pitbull mix that is only 1 year old and about 50 pounds)! As Mable was brought in Darwin was barking and growling (his normal), and Mable was ok but then she started growling and getting aggressive. Her hair was standing up and Lauren said she was just correcting Darwin, so we just kept watching which was a mistake. Mable snapped at Darwin's ribs and bit him. We didn't see he was bleeding until she left. The next day our dog was very lethargic and sore, he couldn't jump up on the couch or walk with out crying out. Lauren did send me Mable's medical records at my request and was made aware that Darwin was bleeding. She did not offer a refund for the training. We already knew our dog has issues to fix, that is why we hired her, now he is even more scared of other dogs. The good news is he is healed up, but we will never use this company again. Please make sure to communicate what you want and you know your dog better than anyone else, do not put them in danger.

Just spent two weeks at Pet Paradise resort. I have used the resort in the past with other dogs and the care they received was very good. This visit the dogs shared a large suite with a private doggy door that allowed them to come in/go out at will. They played long and hard with each other, and also played with the other pups. I understand they had toys everywhere in their room and personal play yard to stay active. I have always appreciated that the facility is very clean and organized. They had nails and baths before being picked up this morning. Special kudos as this visit covered New Years Eve, and the staff reached out to me that morning to ask if there would be any concern about fireworks and if my pups would get nervous/would need calming medication. My dogs don't react to fireworks, so nothing was needed, but I was impressed that the staff reached out to check. Concern for my pets' welfare was genuine, and they were very responsive to my emails while traveling to update me on progress. This was the first "resort" stary for my newest rescue pup and I was concerned how he might react. No need to fear. Both pups give it 4 paws up as a great place to stay when their mom has to go out of town. Very grateful to Pet Paradise for playing and caring for my pups.

Perfect Pack Dog Training - Kirito's Family

However, three months ago, he began displaying aggressive behavior around food and when it was time to go into his crate. As his aggression worsened, we started to lose hope. Thankfully, we found Chris! He not only saved us from having to rehome Kirito but also accomplished what felt impossible. The journey wasn't easy, but Chris worked wonders. Kirito has transformed into a better version of himself--loving, obedient, and responsive to the commands he learned in the program. We HIGHLY recommend giving Chris a chance. If he could help Kirito, there's a great chance he can help your dog too. Just be sure to follow his guidance to the letter when your dog returns home! "Thank you Uncle Chris!"- KIRITO

Chris Williams and Perfect Pack are outstanding. What makes them so special is that Chris speaks…read moredog, and teaches you how to do so. I can understand why others might disagree, but here is the perfect analogy. If you were to learn a foreign language, like speaking dog, the teacher would be fluent. They teach you the tools to become fluent, but it TAKES PRACTICE AND REPETITION. So, you and your dog are having a training session with Chris, and your dog listens to him and behaves perfectly. You get so excited because this is the well trained pupper of your dreams! You get him home and your dog is a jerk. Why? Because you don't speak dog yet. Chris gives you homework. If you do the homework with your dog, you begin to speak dog, and your dog begins to understand you. This is so exciting when it happens! Going back to the foreign language analogy, after one lesson, you are not ready to be dropped into the heart of Paris and except to be understood. Practice, practice, practice! The Perfect Pack training method may have rules you don't agree with especially if you are dealing with a reactive, aggressive dog. How did I meet Chris? My 80 pound Staffy, Pitt, Chow, Rottweiler puppy tried to eat his 14 year old Chi/MinPin because she would lunge at him, and he did not trust me to handle it. As a result, the first time, he broke her leg and required surgery, the second and third time, he practically ripped her apart. Many of you would say get rid of the big dog. That's not how it works with family members. You don't dump a child if they have special needs any more than I would dump a dog for defending himself. But Snowy needed to learn that I would handle the issue. It was not his job to correct his sister. When Chris first told me no dogs on the furniture, I'm not going to lie, I cried. Then he explained that it was not a forever thing. The pups would earn back that privilege, and they did! Why? Practice Practice Practice. I don't claim to be fully fluent in dog, but I am getting there. The people who claim this method doesn't work are the ones who are not willing or blow off the home work. They are also most likely to be the parents who think children come out of the womb with perfect manners.
