I realize that solar companies are in the business of selling panels and batteries to make a greater income, so coming out for a minor fix is even more appreciated. That said, Magic Sun is now my forever "maintainer" and go to for solar or battery issues.

I did not realize Magic Sun sacrificed the quality of my pool solar to sell me more electric solar... not cool. The pool solar is totally useless, does not produce any heat, when I asked for a review I was told I would need to cut down my (4) Birch trees (very delicate branches) in order for pool solar to work. This was not suggested or shared when installing the solar, perhaps they knew that would be a hard no. I will need to have new pool solar installed and repair my new roof. I am floored that Magic Sun could not manage to provide good pool solar and add enough electric solar to satisfy their profit. 1 star is being generous.

Post going live with my system has been a nightmare of terrible customer service. I continued getting PG&E bills even after the system was fully functional. I was first told that my batteries turned themselves off and that is what is making the difference. Then I was told that the breaker got turned off, "not tripped", and that was the problem and that I should start locking my panel as myself or someone else went in there and manually turned it off. I was then told that I would be assisted with the unnecessary PG&E bills that I was receiving. I have now been double charged for energy for the last 3 months. I have now been ghosted by the company for about a month until they just came back to me today to say that I didn't get enough solar panels and that must be the actual problem! Even though they built a system that would have an overage of production based on my last year of energy usage for the last 12mo. My energy consumption has not changed at all, even anything it has lessened. I have also called both the office and the sales rep I worked with a combined 10+ times in the last month and not a single returned call. So unfortunately I am having to come here and write this review to get any attention to this problem that has been going for months. My next points of escalation will be the Better Business Bureau and the state licensing board with all the receipts of communication (or lack there of), misinformation, and my original contracts showing that I purchased a system with enough panels.

We have their Signature Plan maintenance program for these two locations. On an annual routine maintenance for our rental property A/C unit. There was some question about a possible system leak of refrigerant. Nick performed an extensive series of leak tests and found none leaks. He did what we've come to expect from Brower, i.e. be honest on the performance of our HVAC and don't try to upsell us on expensive repairs or replacement until it is truly necessary. He arrived early, took care of both HVAC systems, and the heat pump hot water heater. He replaced a capacitor, and discovered a leak which he fixed. I had Hooked on Solar install solar panels on my roof one year ago but PG and E has still not given…read morepermission to operate. We have had no one calling us back from Hooked on Solar. PG and E has told us several times that Hooked on Solar has to fix certain items. When H on S first set up system they drew up plans with circuit breaker and solar control on outside of house. when the workmen came they put those panels in garage but did not revise plan with city inspector. So when city came to inspect they required the plan be updated before giving approval. Several other issues seemed to arise that delayed the approval. I called H on S and asked to speak to the manager but the staff would not put me thru. It has been so awful. I would NOT recommend this solar co to anyone. My partner calls H on S weekly but never gets calls returned. They have left us very frustrated. Don't use this company.
