This company appears to be operated by two brothers (I think. Maybe they're just partners), Jay and…read moreMike. I spoke to Jay and engaged him to do my sidewalks in the end of February because my homeowner's insurance required me to fix a few of my panels. They both came by, measured, and appeared to be timely and professional, so after meeting with 3 contractors, I decided to go with them, despite the fact that their price was not the cheapest. After signing the contract, Jay's customer service went into the toilet. He's a nice guy, but he wouldn't return texts reliably, wouldn't show up when he said he'd show up, wouldn't update me...just day after day of excuses, pushing dates back, and being really unreliable. It was to the point that I thought he was just messing round with me, and I started thinking I'd just need to find someone else to do the job. Finally, they (last-minute) set up a date to show up and do the work and actually came. I have to say that the finished job itself looks pretty good to my layman's eye. I obviously can't vouch for the technical component of the installation, but the sidewalk panels installed look nice. Mike was the foreman in charge of the job, and I have to say that he was efficient and detailed in his work, and I can't complain of the job that Mike and his 2 guys did on the actual sidewalk. Unfortunately, despite the fact that the work they did was actually fine, I couldn't recommend this company as a whole, because the customer service needs a lot of improvement. Another example: Jay had requested I pay the second 50% in cash, and he literally hung up the phone on me in anger when I asked him to bring me a receipt when he came to pick up the cash and was upset because he was already on his way and "I know him" and "You can't trust me?" - like I'm supposed to trust some random dude with $850 in cash? He ended up bringing me the receipt, but only for the 50% payment, despite the fact that I paid him the full amount that day. It's been 2 weeks since the job was done, and I still have not received a receipt for the full price I've paid. I've reached out no less than FOUR TIMES since the job was done to get one, and still nothing. Based on the actual work they do, which appears to be good, I think the company would really benefit if they got some assistant or secretary to handle the back-end stuff like scheduling, answering calls, providing receipts, handling payments, etc.

Ok, to start I never leave 1 , but I can't believe how unclean my apartment is after a supposed…read more"deep cleaning." Showed up late, left early, ended up having to vacuum and dust after they left, and they had to return after I told the owner that the baseboards in my bedroom were left filthy. My things were not returned to how they were found and my kitchen floor was barely mopped. I work two job and I NEVER have anyone clean my apartment, but I only have one day off a week and for once, I didn't want to spend it cleaning. I paid what was owed because I didn't want no static with these strangers in my home, but I would not recommend this cleaning service to anyone. They're gonna tell you they are going to clean this, that, and the third, and proceed to do a half ass job. Going to have to find another service because this was not worth the money or time. UPDATE: After the owner decided to not take accountability for a terrible job, I will expand. I did say that an hour later would be great, not realizing that they would rush the job and still leave at the original time (when Carlos arrived, he told me that they would do two hours instead of three I was paying for because they had another job scheduled after and needed their "rest"). None of the shelves throughout my home were dusted. If I'm paying for a deep clean, why should I have to point out obvious dirt throughout my home. Clean EVERYTHING (which in this case includes surfaces and baseboards). When they came back to clean the baseboards in my bedroom, they literally did so without vacuuming the floor and just wiped across the board with a rag. I had to vacuum my rug and my floors because there was still debris on them throughout my apartment. So yes, Carlos, I did leave a one star review because you all did a terrible job. And yes, Carlos I leave a lot of reviews (most of which are pretty good). But you Carlos, and the two women with you, did not do a good job so maybe next time, do better, instead of talking my head off about what a great job you're gonna do. The customer shouldn't have to tell you to wipe down every surface and clean every baseboard in a deep clean.

Second, they left corners unpainted. I've now discovered that they painted over cracks that were supposed to be repaired. On the last visit, rather than apologize, the owner threatened me. The son started cursing about how he's not a piece of s*** when he's staring right at how he cheated me. A totally dishonest owner with a completely incompetent son as an assistant. I was told on Monday that someone would call me 30 minutes before my 9AM appointment on Wednesday. Fast forward to Wednesday at 9:40AM - No one ever showed and when I called I wasn't given any sort of explanation or apology by the receptionist. Just a simple "can we schedule for another time". When I further probed, is when she finally offered some version of an apology and told me she didn't see me on schedule. Why would I want to purchase a high ticket service from a company who can't follow through on simple appointments or offer any sort of decent customer service? Highly disappointed especially given the good reviews and the fact that I stayed home from work for this!!!!
