But they took my vehicle info from the website quote system and put that on the job board for any other company to do the job. Transporter - Red Dot Transportation Transport broker - NationWide Auto Transport Both horrible companies and caused thousands of dollars of damage on my vehicle. I was not compensated at all. I hired nationwide to transport my modified Infiniti G37 and clearly informed them it was modified and what was done to it. Nationwide failed to inform Red Dot Transportation that it was on air suspension, despite it being pretty obvious. During transport, somehow my car was aired out and dragged down and up the transport truck, destroying the diffuser ($1,250) and cracking the bumper and fender flares. I have photo evidence of my vehicle before it was transported on the truck and photos when it arrived to me on the truck. The broker and the transporter blamed each other for months and I received NOTHING for compensation despite them guaranteeing it on their website. "100k transports 0 scratches" "your car will be protected GUARANTEED". I hope people read this review and avoid them at all costs. read more

Our car was returned with a busted tail light and grease all over the interior. The driver didn't speak english and didn't allow my wife to add notes to the bill of lading, now they say they're not responsible and do not reply to emails. I just recently shipped my new SUV from St Louis and read reviews here after booking. I then was a bit nervous but honestly I had the best experience with Nationwide Auto-transport. They gave me 25% off my original quote due to a spot opening up sooner & the car was here within 7 days as promised. I was able to pay the remainder balance at pickup with either cash or venmo. The dispatchers were all very nice and extremely informative while keeping me up to date and the driver even went out of his way to drop the car off in front of my house, which wasn't promised as I live in San Francisco. First, I didn't find a driver for the appropriate time i want to ship my cars on. So I selected earlier pick up. Second, they charged me more because I had put some stuff in cars even I had asked and was told I'm allowed as long they are not exceeding the windows level. Third, I received the car covered with dirts and rain. When I washed it two days after receiving it I discovered a hit at the back. And finally the driver who called Shannon was very rude, he didn't call before he arrive, and showed earlier than the time he scheduled with us the day before. Absolutely awful. I got a quote from them and booked a month plus before my move. They strung me along telling me they'd confirm with a driver "soon", "in a week", "a week before the move", "a couple days before" ... on and on, until I was finally still waiting the Friday before my Monday move. I called them a million times in the month and they just kept feeding me bullshit until finally I woke up to the inevitability that this was clearly not going to happen. Then I literally had like 4 hours to get this set up. Thankfully I managed to find someone else, but talk about stress. Best part is, I ended up with a driver who had wanted my business from the beginning. It turns out Nationwide had posted my car... and then ignored drivers who wanted the load, probably because they gave me a bargain-basement quote that they no longer wanted to honor. Nationwide Auto Transport (out of Colorado) Over-promised, under-delivered and then failed to follow-through on a promised refund - For me, Nationwide Auto verbally quoted me a rate for a round-trip car transport and even offered an $80 discount each way since it was going to be a round-trip transport.  After emailing them some additional questions, there was no response until I called them 5-days later.  I then find out that they were not going to offer the $80 discount.  At this point, I should have walked away, but they said they can schedule the pickup for the next-day, so I paid and reserved the transport.  I was then told the driver would be there in the early morning to pick up the car.  Well, when the carrier did not arrive (or call) by 12:00 noon, I tried to contact the driver via phone and text directly, to no avail.  By 2pm, I called Nationwide Dispatch, who could not contact the carrier that they booked less than 24-hours earlier.  By 7pm, and 5-8 phone calls later, Nationwide Dispatch found another carrier for a pickup the next day (basically Day 1 was a complete waste of our time).  For Day 2, we again waited all day and we were finally notified by Dispatch that this second carrier was not coming.  Finally, carrier #3 arrived on Day 3.  Basically we waited around for 2 full days, for 2 different carriers, and they never showed....what a way to spend a weekend! To make matters worse, through this experience, I was speaking with a Nationwide supervisor named "Jay" and he offered to refund me their $246.00 broker fee, for the 2-days of inconvenience, which I gladly accepted.   After the car was finally delivered, I called Jay to find out about the refund and he apologized, and would issue it ASAP.  A few days later, I received a $50 refund.  So I called Jay and informed him that I only received $50 of the $246, he then said he would contact accounts payable and would get back to me, but from the tone of his voice, I could tell he was reneging on the full-refund offer.  Well, all the promises were for not, and I never heard from them again. My suggestion is to AVOID this company, as it appears by several other reviewers that I am not the only person who has had similar experiences. ...A message to Nationwide, if you would like me to amend this review, 'send me the money'! read more

Quick version: Did I get my car? Yes. Was it late? Yes. Was it a painful experience? Yes. Long version: This company is batshit crazy. They outsource to contractors, that way no one has to take full responsibility or can confidently give you the status of your car. I asked when pick up would be, because they were one day late from when they said they would be there. They responded with "its already been picked up" as I was staring at my vehicle. I asked when my car would be delivered, because it was two days late and I needed it. They responded with, "its already been delivered." Catch a trend? Their staff has no idea where your car is. I sat for 30 minutes thinking my car had been delivered to some rando person before I was told it would get to me that day. And guess what? It didn't. I had to wait another 48 hours before I heard ANYTHING. No one answered their phones and the one person who did couldn't tell me where my car was. Then, I had to meet the driver in some shady parking lot with what he wanted me to have, $900 CASH. Yeah fudging right, dude. Who is going to have $900 cash. Are you mental? Also, when you picked up my car that would have been a nice thing to tell me that you don't take credit card, or PayPal, or pay online... you know, normal 2019 things. But you assured me cash and check was for security reasons, because we all know how secure cash is and that checks don't bounce. Retards. read more

I verified they would pick up on a certain day and made it clear that I was only in town a short while and it HAD to be done that day. They said they would be there and would call the day before to verify the time. They did call the day before, at about 3PM to say they would pick up the car 2 days later than agreed upon. They seemed to not care that they had completely put me in a terrible bind as I frantically tried to find a shipper that could do it. I found someone else, though it was too late to get it done in my timeframe. If they had at least told me they could not do it in the timeframe when I specifically asked I could have found someone else. Moved my car from Denver to DC. Worst experience I have ever had for moving a car. This company hires tow companies that will differ from your original contract. For example, my original contract stated that it was door-to-door delivery. This was not the case with the tow company and Nationwide Auto Transportation didn't care. The incompetent manager Jay repeatedly blamed me saying that I should've used a different tow company which makes no sense since you're paying a company for that exact service. That was just the tip of the iceberg but I won't go on a rant. They quoted me one price and then tried to up it by $200 when there was a delay in communication. they also have a website which is circular and doesn't allow easy communication with their staff. They also failed to send an invoice for the deposit by email, although they claimed they had. Avoid them like the plague!
