Also got the bag of truffle chips which were also great. The service was friendly and while busy for lunch we were able to get a table and the lunch rush passed quickly. I would definitely go again next time in Cincinnati!

his place absolutely lives up to the hype!…read more Yes, there was a long line when we visited on a holiday weekend, but don't let that discourage you, they keep things moving efficiently. The wait is well worth it. My biggest tip is to arrive close to opening if you can. They're incredibly popular, and because their bread takes three days to make, they can sell out if there's an unexpected rush. One helpful note for first-time visitors is to walk all the way inside to place your order at the register in the back. We ordered the L'Alveo and the La Rossa, and both were outstanding. They happened to be serving them on gluten-free bread that day, due to the mad rush and honestly, I never would have known it was fantastic. The sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and incredibly filling. The L'Alveo was rich, creamy, and wonderfully indulgent, while the La Rossa was bright and refreshing. The eggplant in the La Rossa was the star. Every bite was excellent. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the hospitality. The owner was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate. We'll definitely be back. If you're thinking about trying this place, don't wait! Get there early before they sell out for the day!
