Even with some complications with the job Dave and his crew did everything they could with a smile and on time as promised. We had to do some extra things which were out of the scope of DJ&E's responsibility and they helped us find good people to help AND helped those people to get he job done - James, Dave's employee, spent several extra hours making sure things got done correctly and that we were happy - all at no extra charge. I would recommend Dave, James and their referral contractors to anyone needing work done. Courtney and Steve King - Feb 2016

Then there was an issue when he turned something off in messages on his phone and said he didn't get days of messages from me, leading to a second no-call, no-show. He told me he had reached back out to other clients, I asked him why he didn't do that with me. He just said I had a fair point. He took absolutely no responsibility for anything, you know one of those guys who is constantly screwing up but nothing is ever his fault? He often told me how great of a communicator he is, while not communicating with me at all. I was fed up by now and cancelled anything I hadn't already paid for. It's now been a month since he was supposed to cut a screen for me, that I already paid for, and I'm sure I'll never see that. He's totally unserious, unreliable, untrustworthy, and unbelievably slow, if not vindictive in not following through on a pre-paid job for someone who doesn't want to work with him. There's much better out there!!!

The bill came out to less than I was anticipating for the breadth of my issues. Hopefully I won't have any more plumbing problems in the future, but if I do I'll use Ace again.

Waited a while for the company to contact us, and then tried to contact them. No answer. Checked them out online, and they had horrible reviews and a D with the BBB. So we looked for another company. Came across Corporate HVAC reviews. They were all great, so we gave them a call. 3 rings, and we were speaking with Glenn. He said he could be out in 20 minutes. Maybe 15 minutes later, he was at our front door. He fixed our problem and explained what we needed to do to try to prevent it from happening again. Unfortunately we have a unit that's close to dead. Glenn emailed us a no-pressure estimate on replacement, as well as a copy of our invoice. He was super respectful of our home, even taking off his shoes and carrying them around while walking inside. He worked on the inside and outside. We were very impressed with his professionalism and kindness. Glenn also called and texted us later in the night to make sure everything was working. I would highly recommend using this company.

Their pricing was also very competitive and fair compared to the other quotes I received, and the warranties are stellar, which gave me additional peace of mind with such a major investment. Kevin, the Master Technician, oversaw the installation, and Kris and his partner Chris handled the actual install over two full days. All three were extremely professional, personable, and honestly a pleasure to have in the home. Kris and Chris were funny, easy to talk to, and clearly took pride in doing quality work rather than rushing through the job. I was especially impressed with the attention to detail throughout the installation. The finished work looks neat and professionally done -- duct connections, drain lines, wiring, insulation wrap, and overall layout were all carefully handled. They took the time to explain things, answer questions, and make sure everything was done correctly. The system also came with a Daikin One programmable thermostat, which can be controlled either directly from the wall unit or from your smartphone. I especially liked that you are not forced to use the app if you prefer the old-fashioned convenience of simply controlling everything from inside the home. The new inverter system is noticeably quieter and the house already feels more evenly comfortable, especially in a split-level home where temperature balance can be challenging. This was a major investment for me, and I truly feel I made the right decision. I would absolutely recommend this team to anyone looking for a careful, high-quality HVAC installation. Thank you so much Kevin, Kris, and Chris for a terrific job!
