Poor communication from the front office, unprofessional technicians, terribly inflated prices and RUDE management. Have used them for multiple jobs over the years (2022- now) and the company has taken a total 180-degree turn for the worse. Avoid them if you can. read more

I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Nate's Plumbing!! They were out within an hour on a Sunday, extremely kind, knowledgeable, upfront, and fairly priced. Nate and Jordan were both so awesome! Solved the issue and saved the say! 10/10 5+++ Stars!!! Thank you Nate and Jordan! read more

Terrible company. Broke the water main and didnt tell the residents. Then the management company hired them again and the severed the main line from my neighbors heat pump and ruined her system. They shut all the water off to our units and left it off into the night. When i tried to call the person that answered was incredibly rude and suggested we could just unrinate in our empty toilets without any water. So rude and incompetent. read more

Do not use this plumber!!! They are apparently motivated by greed rather than the desire to provide a service to the community and they overcharge by three to four times what other competent plumbers charge. Their rates turn out to be about $500/hour for the time involved. They are part of a new class of contractors who don't want to make a living, they want to make a killing, and the public is their prey. Just awful people to deal with. read more

Terrible. Like most contractors in small towns. These guys have made a living taking people money who are none the wiser. They destroyed my sink when I called them to fix it. And when I called them to come fix their repair they refuse both the work or a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Nate's Plumbing - Broken pipe. Exploded exactly 2 days after Nate himself came and "fixed my clogged drain". - Plumbing Near Me - Brush Prairie, Washington

These guys from Nate's Plumbing, Jordan, Jake and Jim, were timely, efficient and very polite. It was apparent they knew what they were doing and were good at their jobs. They had to help me for 3 days with plumbing issues. Each time they arrived on time and always took boots off at the door to protect my carpet. It is hard to find good customer service nowadays so I really appreciate these guys. They did a great job in the exact amount of time. Everything was installed perfectly and works great. I highly recommend them. I can't speak for the bill because I live in an apartment and the managers paid the bill. read more

They did not even try to diagnose the water over use issue at my apartment as they didn't even enter. They said a new pipe from meter to apartment was needed. I scheduled another plumber who actually diagnosed the problem, shut off the water inside to see if the meter was still spinning. Nope meter stopped and the 2nd honest plumber found it was a running toilet and fixed it for $250. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Came out and replaced the P Trap under the sink and used a whole lot of glue for $180 dollars, the drain is the slowest draining thing I have ever seen. Called Nate's plumbing directly 2 days after install and asked if they could come back out and look at it without charging me their $79 trip fee. The man told me he could not guarantee it because he doesnt know exactly what the problem is. The problem is your plumber that replaced the P Trap, messed up the job and you need to guarantee your work. The guy who answered, assuming it was Nate himself called me "Maam, maam, maam, maam, maam..." literally twenty times until I told him don't call me Maam one more time. Completely disrespectful. Shitty plumber, shitty owner, shitty customer service. Beware!!! read more

Yesterday I posted here explaining my wife and my feelings about our recent experience with Nate's Plumbing and how we were shocked at our bill. We had the faucet's to our washer replaced and then mentioned a problem we thought we might have with our drains from our gutter downspouts to the street. Nate's two plumbers jumped right at it - without letting us know the cost - and we just about had a heart attack when they produced the bill! Follow up to this morning when Nate himself called to speak with my wife about our experience. Long story short, Nate made it clear that that wasn't the way he wanted us to remember our experience and he made us an offer to make it right and rectify the situation. He mentioned that we should have known BEFORE the work was done what the charges would be, and he thanked us for bringing it to his attention and said he would be doing some training to alleviate the problem and ensure it didn't happen again. We appreciate that, and think his offer was entirely appropriate and fair! Nate, thanks for taking the time to call us and make this right! THAT is how businesses that care ought to be run! read more

so my tankless water heater stopped working today. the HVAC company that installed it 18 years ago no longer services water heaters so they gave me Nate's Plumbings number. Nate himself called me. Then just needed to start mansplaining to me how much tankless water heaters suck. then he moved on to Heat pump water heaters and then... electric cars. At which point I interrupted him and asked him if was a Trump supporter. So you can guess. Yes and he thinks Trump is BRILLIANT. I probably should have said thanks but no thanks at that point because I love my Prius and unless you are an idiot who still doesn't think that climate change is real, I have some freshly flooded real estate in Florida to sell you. I told him about my set up and that I had a tempering tank for our tankless water heater that lets us have hot, hot water all winter. I told him about it and how cold the water coming into our house gets ( 48 degrees twice last year). How do I know this? because NATE, I have a temperature gage on our inlet pipe inside. And I know how to read. Nate exclaimed that water into your house NEVER, ever gets below 55 degrees. I tried to tell him that our pipes aren't 4 feet under the surface but he went on this crazy rant about he has a degree in this and how I don't know anything. I suggested that I should probably hire someone else and then Nate started taunting me on the phone like we were in the fourth grade and said over and over that he would "never work for me". then he hung up. So if you want a know it all, immature, petty jerk to work on your house. oh and the whole, unpatriotic thing by being a Trump supporter on top of that, then please hire Nate. He's very special read more

Never use Nate's. call anyone else!! Had a bathroom sink that was draining slowly. Called Nate's Plumbing. I was charged $89.00 just for them to drive to the house, that fee does not apply to repairs. It cost another $309.91 to have the repairman run a snake down the pipe. Total Cost $398.91 for about 1/2 hr of work. And the repairman damaged the wood cabinet. read more

Nate's Plumbing just completed a water line replacement for us. They were done in just a few hours and their price was good. This was fast, friendly service. I am so pleased! They didn't have to tear up the yard, just used their special boring machine that they own. Becky in the office was so helpful too. Highly recommended for water line replacement! read more

I am giving them one star because of pricing. My kitchen sink was plugged in the curved pipe directly under the sink. I knew it was simple because my husband had cleaned it out before. If I wasn't partially disabled, I could do this myself. I called this company and was told that there is an $89 basic fee to give an estimate of the job. A tech would come and tell me final fee. The man arrived on time. I told him exactly what was wrong. HE DID NOT TELL ME THE FINAL CHARGE. I had the cabinet cleaned out and a large container in place to collect the water. The tech brought in some paper towels, a pair of gloves, and an 18 inch plastic item to push into the pipe. Within 30 minutes, the pipe is cleaned and everything is fine. He sits down with his paperwork and tells me that the total is $398. I understand companies have overhead, but this is way beyond a reasonable fee. If the tech drove 15 minutes each direction and then spent 30 minutes here, that is equal to $398 per hour. Who makes that kind of money? Nate's Plumbing, obviously. I failed to ask the final fee. Don't make my mistake and get nailed with an excessive fee that is way out of line for the work. read more

I was shocked by my bill. The plumbers from Nate's were here for about five minutes and the bill was almost $350. I talk to their office and they refunded me a measly $20. I have read other reviews about Nate's and and people saying that they feel like they were totally ripped off. That's exactly how I feel. I would avoid this company like the plague. There's absolutely no relationship between the work they did and what they charge me. Stay clear of them. This company is bad news read more

Preys on seniors. On 5/27/22 I used Nate's to replace a failed pressure reduction valve at the meter. Jake did the replacement. He worked over 2 hours which included digging. The final charge was $129 service call, $499 for parts and labor, and $52.75 tax for a total of $680.75. I felt this was fair and Jake did a good job. On Sunday, 4/23/23, I discovered that a drain pipe was leaking in my crawl space. I was in somwhat of a panic mode since my house was sold with an inspection to follow the next day and I wanted the problem fixed before the inspection. I called Nate's and agreed to a Sunday service charge of $229. Thomas arrived at 11:55 am and I explained my concerns to him about the inspection. He went into the crawl space, inspected the problem, and quoted me $229 service call and $379 parts and labor. At the time I felt this was high, but was in a bind and thought the job would probably take at least an hour for that price so I agreed to the price. However, Thomas was under the house for about 20 minutes. His written description of the job is "repair leak on 2 inch combo in crawl space for laundry & k/s" (kitchen sink). I was shocked when he said he was done, but since I was fretting I was in no mood to argue price which amounted to $229 service call, $379 parts and labor, $46.82 tax, for total of $654.82. $379 for 20 minute fix comes to $1,000 per hour labor even if parts totaled $137, which I doubt. The more I thought about the charge the more I realized that Thomas took advantage of a 77 y.o. senior in a bind. I so wish I had read other similar reviews on Yelp before hand. On Tuesday 4/25, I called Nate's at 9am and asked to speak to the owner. The lady answering the phone, said he was unavailable but she would have him call me. It's now 1:55 pm and no call back. Warning: use Nate's at you own peril and what ever you do stay away from using Thomas. read more

I was just given the opportunity to pay Nate's Plumbing $85 to show up, spend 5 minutes to tell me it would cost $1600 for 30 of gas pipeline. A straight line with nothing unusual and nothing obstructing access. What a COMPLETE ripoff. If they used flex pipe it would take them 30 minutes to run a line plus generously 1 hour for fittings on both ends. They might need that much time if they took lunch during the install and expected to get paid for that time. So for 3 hours or less of time they wanted $1600? Wow, I am in the wrong line of work. That is a higher rate than most MD's!!! They were the highest bid by a factor of 2x to 3x, fyi. FYI, I ended up using J&M Services. They were great. I've had the misfortune of having to deal with these folks both as a customer, and with THEM as customers at my business, and both were fairly unpleasant. I had to use their plumbing services as point of contact for my grandparents, and it was an expensive experience--granted, it did not come out of MY pocket, but I don't want to feel like my grandparents are being ripped off. After receiving their estimate for coming to look at the problem and performing a small part of the repair, we promptly switched to another local, small plumbing business, and received reasonably priced service without the condescension. Lastly, I will share that the owners of this company are complete 'Karens'. They came into my place of business about a week ago, demanding immediate service, complaining of the extra COVID-19 precautions we were taking to keep our customers safe, and threatening to play the race card at me, of all the ridiculous things to complain about. (This doesn't have any bearing on the quality and affordability of their business, of course, but in case you were wondering about the type of people you'll be dealing with...) I happened to recognize their name from dealing with their plumbing business, and it prompted me to post this review. I hope they never darken my door again as a customer, and I will DEFINITELY be returning that favor. read more

We had a pretty nasty main sewer clog in our home. Nate's responded promptly by phone, had a plumber available to come, and he arrived right on time with the ETA. The guy was very professional and was extremely clear about the estimate. Not only did he resolve this issue, but he replaced the toilet perfectly. I was so impressed I had him fix a sink that had been running slowly as long as we had owned the house. Not only did he resolve the problems, but he took the time to teach me some things about how to care for our pipes and make sure this didn't happen again. I'm absolutely SOLD on Nate's and we will be calling them for any of our plumbing needs in the future. Very professional, very fair pricing and friendly competent plumber to boot! Thumbs up! Update 1/24/17: Well, we sold our old home and bought a new one, and we just had Nate's come out to the new place to do a laundry list of small to mediumish fixes we needed all around the house. Once again, Nate's is excellent. On time, polite, knowledgeable and willing to educate us on how to best care for and maintenance our home plumbing needs. Still 5 stars! Thanks for April for being awesome on the phone, and Dustin for the great work! read more

My elder father-in-law was in need of help with his kitchen sink minor issue. Since I did not have time to go there, I suggested Nate's plumbing . Well that was a mistake.... He was told that when the plumber gets there, he will discuss the cost BEFORE the start of the job. That never happed. The main issue was just a simple clogged sink. And since the disposal was over 15 years old, he decided to change it. My father in-law already had the part there for him. For 1.5 hour of work not the cost of the disposal he was charged $450. I thought he was kidding. I am so angry for recommending Nate's plumbing. I think I will report him to BBB for taking an advantage of elder. Never again.... absolutely dishonest..... Nates Plumbing will not give prices over the phone. However, they have set prices for everything. They insist on coming to your home charging you a $85 service fee. -100 Stars if I could. DO NOT USE Nate's Plumbing ever. I have been a customer of Nate's Plumbing for the last 15 years. They have done an outstanding job with all of my rental properties when work has needed to be done and I have even referred them a ton of business over these years (whether they know it or not). Well as of this past week that will all end. It takes a lot to get under my skin but the owner, Nate, takes unprofessionalism to a whole new level. Long story short, their new scheduler made 2 separate mistakes on scheduling things to be done at my house when I specifically told her what needed to be done. I called to talk with the owner and he proceeded to tell me that his employees are not only more valuable than his customers but he didn't need my business. I was taken back by this statement because a business cannot survive without customers regardless of how great your employees are. After going back and forth with him, we came to an agreement of them coming out to do work today. The work to be done was installing a farm style sink in my kitchen. Plumber showed up and had no clue to how to install it and wasnt quite sure why she scheduled it. Again this was after I specifically explained to her what needed to be done. The plumber calls Nate to come to my house to see if he could figure it out. Nate shows up and looks through the directions and says he can't mount the sink because some framing needed to be done. I start to proceed to ask him if the framing was there would they be able to do it. In the most condescending and ill-mannered tone, interrupted me and asked me if I was college educated and if I was why couldn't I figure out how to install the sink myself. Needless to say I told him to get out of my house in a few choice words. As he walked away from me he again told me how he didn't need my business, that I will NEVER find a better plumber, and that he makes more money in a day than I do all year. In addition, that if I ever called his office again that he would file harassment charges against ME! As if I would hire this company again. My response was this may be true that he makes more money than me but it won't change the fact that you are an arrogant SOB that thinks he is above everyone. This company is a joke and it makes me sad to think about the $1000s of dollars that I have paid to them to do work for not only myself but for friends and clients. I also feel sorry for his employees and other customers in which Nate treats this way. Its clear it happens by reading the other negative reviews that have to deal directly with Nate. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I called with a sump pump overflowing, damaging keepsakes, and they said they could get out to our house between 3 to 5pm{it was noon}. They said that they would call me right back to confirm that. An hour and a half later, I called them back to get an answer. They still said that they were trying to confirm that they could be out. They said again, that they would call me back within 45 minutes, at the latest. Over an hour later, I called them back and they still couldn't tell me whether they could even come out, even that day! I called another plumber and they were out in 20 minutes! Nate's was VERY unprofessional. When you have sewage damaging your things, you want help as fast as possible. By delaying me for 3 hours, more of my things were damaged. NOT HAPPY! read more

I called another plumber at 7 a.m. (during normal business hours) because my main sewer line was clogged and toilet water was coming up into my shower. I guess I sounded desperate, because the person quoted me a flat price of $595 to unclog it, which seemed high, but he said he would "rearrange things" to get me in that morning. I told the person that I would call back. Five minutes later, he calls ME back, saying that he can get me in before 8 if I commit right now (most other plumbers, including Nate's, opened at 8...which I'm sure he knew). Thankfully, after talking it over with my wife we didn't jump, but waited until 8 and called some other plumbers. Upon doing some online research and after my wife talked with her brother (who is a plumber in CA), we found that $300 was more typical for my area and that flat rate plumbers were usually a scam. Nate's had very high ratings, came out within 45 minutes, and completed the work on an hourly rate (it took two hours). Total cost: $300...HALF of what the other plumber wanted. My drains now run perfectly, and I'll be leaving a horrible review for the other plumber! read more

1920's Home with sink totally BLOCKED from draining. Nate's Plumbing (Jim U. )came out today for a backed-up kitchen sink drain. I was very scared because either the young people that come don't listen as they know more than me or they don't think of repercussions to how they go about to fix something. ... I asked for NOT a Young Person. Jim U. came, he's not old, he's not young, HE WAS PERFECT. He was very nice to me and my old home. He found the blockage right away and used the snake in the basement pipes, but went very slow and gently cleared a solid blockage in the line. He left the pipes with a new cap on the line so if ever needed it will be ready for a snake. He also cleared up a leak under the kitchen sink I had made trying to use drano. Do NOT use Nate's Plumbing!!!! We called them because we live near them and wanted to support local, community businesses. We had some basic plumbing that needed to be done: two sinks and faucets installed, a toilet, etc. I called Nate's and asked for a price for these pretty standard things. The man I spoke with refused to give me any idea of a price over the phone. So, at that time, I asked him to come out and give me a bid. He said that to save gas, he didn't give bids, he would just come out and give us a price (and get our approval of the fee) before beginning the work. A contractor was sent out the next morning and gave us a ridiculous quote of $1200 (approx. 2-3 hours of work -- all materials were provided. We said that we weren't willing to pay that amount and said we didn't want the work done. At that point, FOR THE FIRST TIME, the plumber said that there was a $100 service charge for him coming out there. We would have never agreed to pay for a bid -- we had several plumbers that agreed to give us a bid for free. We only had gotten their bid first because they came out the day after we called. By the way, their prices are insane.... we ended up getting the work done for $275 by a different licensed plumber. read more
