Natalia's Kusina is the best place to eat at the D'Talipapa. If you think this place is like one of the "paluto" restaurants of Dampa in Manila, you are wrong. The way they cook the seafood here waaaay better! Every time I'm in Boracay, I would eat at D'Talipapa every lunch time (sometimes dinner too) and I would always go to Natalia's to have them cook the seafood I picked from the wet market.
So, after getting your seafood and meat, the server will ask you how you want all your goodies to be cooked. You can always asked them what's the best way to cook it and they will even recommend that you can have some cooked 2 ways. Once that is done and sorted, all you have to do is wait for your food to arrive. Expect to wait for about 15-20 minutes depending on the dish of your choice.
This is what I always have to eat when I'm at Natalia's: Grilled Liempo (Pork Belly), Crabs with Chili sauce, Grilled Squid, Baked Oysters, Scallops in Garlic Butter sauce, Shrimp in Garlic Butter sauce, Baked Mussels and, if I'm lucky to haggle really well, Lobster in Garlic Butter sauce. Everything is always perfectly cooked and delicious, especially the mussels, shrimp and liempo. Wash this all down with a liter of Gold Eagle beer!
My recommendation is that you don't go here during peak hours: 11-1PM or 5-7PM. Go here by 2PM or 8PM when everyone has finished eating and so that your food will get to your table faster! Here's a tip: Don't eat at the restaurants by the beach. They get their seafood from the same wet market and the prices they add to cook your food is very expensive! So, go here instead! :D read more
